  • Want to know how the number one ranked triathlete in the world trains? Marten is currently ranked at the top of the world triathlon points rankings after a hugely successful 2021 where he finished 4th in Tokyo with a 30:21 10k after the grueling 1.5k swim and 40k bike. We joined him in Girona as he builds towards competition in 2022, starting with racing over the half Ironman distance and then into the tough and hotly contested ITU calendar.
    The session: 2 x 3.2km, 6 x 1.6km
    He is joined by Belgian distance runner Nicolaï Saké, German Olympian in triathlon Jonas Schomburg and Belgian U23 triathlete Jarne Ameye.

    so what were the lactate values for the session?

  • @ebscoHOSTpub
    @ebscoHOSTpub 2 роки тому

    I've read up on how athletes and coaches use lactate readings to improve performance. It is so effective for cyclist teams that it is not allowed during race in like the tour de france. Amazing technology and use.

    Est ce normal que Monsieur Marten ait autant d'oscillation verticale ? Et les bras éloignés du corps ? On m'a toujours appris qu'il fallait balancer les bras d'arrière/en avant, et non pas de droite et gauche. Ou alors je suis trop perfectionniste

    • @lasolution3928
      @lasolution3928 2 роки тому

      Le principal c'est qu'il soit performant et heureux dans sa pratique 😀

    • @matthiross
      @matthiross 2 роки тому

      Oscillation verticale = springiness en Anglais. Il utilise l'elasticité de ses os pour emmagasiner de l'énergie. On le voit de façon exagérée à son échauffement, à une allure trop lente pour lui. Signe de coureur efficace.
