Hello Octavian ! thanks for the tip for the eyeshoot competition. Nothing to lose to submit a serie... For every video you post you give me the envy to travel, such a beautiful light in the city. Thanks for the video ! 👍🥰
Hello Jeremy ! Yeah, let's do this. Lets submit some series. Nothing to lose indeed. Thanks for watching and a bientot j'espere :).
Hahaha thanks a lot mate ! If you have a family of about 50.000 people and they subscribe and watch my videos I will probably afford the new Leica Q3 when it’s out. I am spending more money on travelling than the UA-cam revenue to be honest :) . Street photography videos are a niche :)
@@OctavianCarare 😂 Let me work on the 50.000, but I need some time! Is there something you need in a Leica Q3? What do you miss on your Q2? I hope you take the money and travel instead of buying new gear 🤩
@@konradmikola Q2 it's a pretty good camera, if the Q3 keeps the trend it will be great :). I will travel as much as I can indeed. I will calmly wait for you to make me rich meanwhile :))
Hey Octavian awesome photos. I was also in Barcelona last week doing street photography and I totally agree with you. Its very busy with alot of tourists so was hard to find a good composition. I preferred to stay near the beaches and the old streets 😒
Hi Ted! Thanks for sharing your advice and I am glad I am not the only one thinking that. I probably need more time and not to be in a holidays mood. Otherwise the city is lovely !
Hi Philipp and thank you ! Actually I am planning to go to Germany this time but close to Belgium. I will probably go in Koln and maybe Dusseldorf. Frankfurt may be an option as well but probably later on. And if all goes well in October I will probably be in Berlin for 2-3 days. Keep up the good work :)
Every city has its own vibe and you manage to pass that vibe to the viewer every time. Lots of colors, lots of great subjects and you captured the contrast between light and shadows just perfect. Not to mention the intro😉. Favorite shot from this episode is 37. Never been to Barcelona but now I'm very curious about it. Very well done, my friend.👏👏👏
Thank you Alexandru :) You should definitely visit Barcelona. It's simply wonderful. And for a fellow artist a must visit destination :) It is very cultural and artistic :)
Always such amazing locations. How do you do it? 😎☀️👍 Superb image set Octavian 📷😎👍👏 The only trouble watching your vids is that they make me feel hungry. 😄👊👊 Best wishes.
Hi Steve :) well I don’t get any holidays but instead I am doing short city trips :). Thanks for the feedback! I will bring more food to the channel then :))
Solid post, Octavian. Closer at night something new - don’t recall you doing night shoots before; could be worth exploring, a challenge to high contrast daytime work. Favs in this one: 1, light trap, 3 reflection proximity, 23 mattress guy, and 28 two of a kind red-heads. From city to city most of your images fit the same style and could have been taken almost anywhere, IMO. Except for food and opening slo-mo footage, there’s not much difference. If there is something you find unique about each venue, why not try capturing those special things (from photo point of view) and featuring them in your posts. (What makes - city name goes here - special type segments). Otherwise, something like “what makes street photography challenging in - city name goes here. You get the idea. Does that make sense? Cheers!
Hi Paul and thank you ! I have done 2 or 3 night time street photography videos and will probably do more during the winter. Yeah I see what you mean and that's a good point. I don't know, maybe in Barcelona it was the holiday mood, maybe I was tired and definitely the heat and humidity :) . I will do better next time, that's for sure :)
@@OctavianCarare You did fine on this one - did not intend to imply otherwise, Octavian. People are much the same all around, so similar images are to be expected. Highlighting differences and challenges at each venue would just spice things up a bit, IMO.
Wonderful work again Octavian, I especially like the heavy shadow images. Noticed you were using f10 + f11. Assuming you deliberately underexposed shooting against the light? Thanks again and lovely to see so many different locations recently.
Thanks a lot Victor ! Yes I do underexpose. It really depends on the scene but if I have a powerful light and I am looking to get more contrast I will do it :)
@@OctavianCarare I don’t find interesting spots. Harsh light and shadows you can find everywhere, but not a photogenic city compared to Paris, Rome, London, Lisbon, Porto… (I’m leaving in Madrid, perhaps that’s why!).
I got some pretty decent shots in Madrid. Also in Toledo. I did take out my X-E3 with flash and did some night street photography in Madrid. Those were very interesting shots.
Never stop making these videos please, I love it. :)
Thanks a lot mate ! I won't :)
Hey! Another great video! But could you give settings of photos in the future? It would be very helpful :)
Hi man! Thanks ! I will think about it :)
Many good shots. Faves 20, 27 and some more that I forgot the number for. 👍📷🤩
