Interesting - so you use the 3km better concealment as many times as you fire the main guns? I would suggest you focus on better situational awareness and positioning. Personally I would just stay 3km further away if and when needed - and have better rate of fire for the ENTIRE time I am firing the guns lol. It helps that the Mainz has 1km further range also... 2 knots speed advantage? Wow - and why are you just sailing in a straight line (only way to reach sustained top speed). I like how you didn't mention the Mainz has around 8000 more HP too - which kinda makes a difference as neither has a heal. Yes I have looked at both these ships - and Mainz was generally superior in all ways overall. It just sounds like you are tryonig to justify a bad purchase lol. Nevermind...

Mainz is basically a bully, being downtiered on that ship is basically a war crime. The ship is so good, if WG decided to give it a heal, they can move it to T9 easily. WG Last event 1 v 1 brawl at T8, basically i just easily flatten everyone with this ship, the 4x2 torpedoes launcher is overkill for such brawl, and like other eugen hull, the torpedoes arc is so wide and very usefull in every situation. i really recommended this ship.
Mainz is my absolute favorite light CA. Good vid. I'd like to see some videos where you explain your thinking as you play. You talk about it some in the real time of the play, but not about your though strategy prior to being in the middle of it. E.g.: You said you like to go to the C side; why? Islands, fields of fire, something else? Flamu has done some of that; they are my favorite vids he does.
Normally videos like that I dedicate to my ‘How I Play’ playlist which is also known as ‘Thought Process’, in where I go into detail into everything I do, but sure I can talk a bit more in detail why I pick a particular flank over another in this series also.

I do enjoy the high tier videos, even though they are not relevant to my game. (I do have a Des Moines, a Gearing and a Montana for Airship Escort & such.)
Well played despite the result, and I agree. I got the Mainz as one of my first premium ships and it was a bit of a mistake, got blapped a fair bit during my first few games. Took a while to learn the right techniques/situations for island camping and open water gunboating and while it's not my absolute favourite ship (or best), it's close to it in both cases. My ship requests: Tech Trials - Yorck, as a bit of an odd duck in the German tech-tree, IMO; and Fresh Look - Kii, in the market for an IJN ship (after Atago) and not seen much coverage of Kii in recent months (or even years) except the Kobayashi camo. Big fan!

I prefer Munchen over Mainz and I might like Weimar better as well. Mainz is really fun but the other two are much more agile and I prefer that playstyle. And the Eugen has the heal. The Germans have options, that is good! I been requesting Harekaze for months. ^_^

Just bought the Mainz and was kind of dissapointed. I'm relatively noob with WOW and have a few premium ships. Kearsarge, Warspite, Maya, Nurnberg and Mainz IMO the Nurnberg is a spammonster and I usually get around 100K scores in COOP. She's my favourite ship. With the Mainz for me it's hard to get around the 100K. More around 50/60K. But I'm learning. Hope I will be liking her more eventually.
I think Nurnberg is disliked because it's a giant pain in the ass to play for newer players. But I recently regrinded German cruiser line for research points, and lighthouse Nurnberg is pretty cracked

Malta.... you talk about overpowering armour. How do you determine that info using your main guns? Chart? Graph? Thanks in advance. I'd love to see the T8 euro DD with radar. Thinking of buying that one Orkan (?)
I think you mean overmatch (just means that no matter the angle the shells will not ricochet), in which case you take the caliber of the gun, for example lets take Yamato. Yamato gets 460mm guns, you divide that by 14.3 and 32.17, so Yamato overmatches 32mm of armor. 14.3 is the constant for calculating the overmatch, it is the same for all ships. So gun caliber / 14.3 = overmatch threshold.

Also I would like to see how you would suffer by playing Cristoffo Colombo Captain Malta ;) My highest dmg is 180k but she's so hard to play. Would you consider give your comment on that ?
I hate light cruisers that aren't maneuverable or stealthy enough, i can't get them to work for some reasons, especially with no heals. I'd rather play Bayard or San Diego, but hey, can't be good with everything.

Yes, there’s a setting in the port which allows you to turn off camos which aren’t historical, right side of the ship carousel, it’s a cog ⚙️
