Honestly you're such an inspiration guys, the views were insanely beautiful but the mental/physical challenge is NEXT level. Please keep documenting the hikes, Nepal people should be proud of having you there!
Love the tea house AND that everyone grows their own fruits and veggies❤ REALLY fascinating to hear about the lives of the porters! But loved the downward dog the most!🐕 🧘♀️
@@WITYTRAVELS yes, I absolutely love how you both bond with the local people wherever you go! And I smile every time will tells someone they are the "best ----- in the country"! 🤣 he is very generous with his superlatives! What a charmer!
Oh, my heart was so sad when you were crying, Katy!! But it was so beautiful to see your vulnerability there. That is some real stuff. But I'm so glad you guys pushed through!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Amazing view of the mountains, I really like the way you mingle with Locals. When you got emotional, I felt like giving you a hug and tell you move on, its a beautiful place. Keep going
Lovely video guys. I've been in Lantang Valley in 2010, long time ago, and still I've got in my memories every single moment of that trek. Each landscape, each path way, and of course the nepalies, strong people and friendly with a big heart. Enjoy the trip!! Cheers from Spain
Love the update at the beginning of the video, using the map really helped me to understand your progress and what lies ahead. Always good to a target for the aim but even better to have a plan B. I really love those team rooms and villages you pass through, they sure do have an authentic feel to them. I can't believe the room in Langtang was free - 21 dollars for breakfast and dinner for two people is unreal. Cool to see the Hard Rock Cafe, I remember that one from Harold's vlog. Always hard seeing a fellow traveller and vlogger upset - well done Katie for pushing through the pain and making it.
Glad we had the physical map, because Google Maps was not accurate up there. It's nice because we gave ourselves plenty of time, but we still wanted to push ourselves as much as possible. I don't know if we would attempt another hike without similar facilities. The tea houses were such a huge safety net. Great prices for foreigners. When Harald went to the Hard Rock Cafe, she wasn't there, so we are happy she was at the restaurant when we went by. Thanks Matt! This was an emotionally draining experience; but so worth it!
@@WITYTRAVELS I can imagine! When we stayed in San Cristobal in Mexico in chiapas even after being there for a few months I found it difficult to breath! Good on you both!
Oh my gosh!!! What a cool journey!! Sage and I (mom) just watched it on our hotel tv! We loved the tea stops and that LoMein looked so good!!! The restaurant named Hard Rock Cafe had us laughing 😂😂😂 You guys are so strong and resilient!! We also thought it was clever how you asked for a western toilet!! 😂 So neat that the lodging is free!! Thanks for sharing your journey with us!! What could possibly be next!! ❤❤❤
We'd like to think our videos are an upgrade to the junk they show you on HBO in a hotel room! lol. You are literally carb loading on these hikes and staying hydrated and caffeinated with various teas. In some countries, you have to do what you have to do when nature calls, but if a western toilet is available, you might as well take it! There are no atms out on the hike and no one takes credit card, so it's nice to not have to carry a bunch of cash with you while hiking. What a journey. Thanks for watching!!!
Wow guys, what beautiful scenery. We’re loving seeing Nepal through your eyes. We loved the camaraderie on the trek. I’m not surprised you got so emotional, that’s a difficult trek. Way to go Will and Katy! You’ll feel so much fitter when you come down after walking in that altitude! We’re still in awe of that scenery. Hang in there guys 🍻
Nice to see your hiking adventure meeting and interacting with local people on thw way..its interesting to see you get a free room while you buy food there
Katy that was one tough trek for you. I hear ya'. I wish I could do the Annapurna Trek but don't have the time for it. Hoping and wanting to come back down the road to do that proper like!
We have heard that hotels in the area will hold luggage for you. We travel full time though. So we had an apartment in Kathmandu where we kept the things we didn't need for the hike.
@@WITYTRAVELS oh wow! you rent the apartment monthly? :) Loving your videos so far btw! and this video motivated me to think maybe I can also do at least one trek
We are no longer in Nepal, but we rented an apartment in Kathmandu for a month and took a week in the middle to go trekking. This was our first ever mountain hike and we made it. You can do it!! Thanks for the comment!
Lots of love from Nepal

Thank you so much Ale! This was the most demanding physical challenge to date. But such gorgeous terrain.

Hard ROCK Cafe 😂
Good job with ginger tea 🫚 ☕️ ... sorry about the tummy troubles
The only ACTUAL hard rock Cafe in the world! Thanks. The tea was great for the stomach.
YAY you guys made it!!! We are so proud of you! Those views were amazing😍
Come to Nepal you guys. I am doing the Langtang trek in a few weeks. We could go together.

Altitude sickness is no joke! Thankfully we are slow hikers and took a view days to make it gradually to the top. ❤❤

Sorry if I missed this in an earlier video, but what are y'all doing to prevent/treat altitude sickness?
Thoughts and prayers lol. It didn't affect us too bad thankfully. We took a few days to get up so it wasn't all at once.
