Maybe his meds and alcohol did not not mix well with him last night.He produced great music for Selena and great music for the fist couple of Kumbia King albums but he will never be an entertainer like Selena Selena brought the show. She had the personality, respect, the charisma, voice, and talent. The whole package. People would not care who he was if it wasn't for Selena. No one cares who the hell he shook hands with in Vegas! Off stage, surly, ornery, opinionated, but he never took any of that to the stage. He never really “made it” (though he played with Carlos Miranda and the Latin Breed for a short time) but he taught me a lot.
