What a disappointment that the owl died, it was well cared for in its last days. The puppies are so cute and growing like weeds. Great video, can’t wait for 5he rescues. Take care and I am still praying for Bryar’ recovery. 💕

I would love the experience of raising a litter of puppies! But at my age it’s impractical. I’d have to buy at new house, buy a male and female dog find a good Vet and all of the others things, so Thank You very much for sharing yours! Bummer the owl didn’t make it. There were a bunch of nibbled fingertips trying to save it; right Nash?!

Internal injuries are not easy to find and deal with in animals. He gave it his best and took good care of that owl. Hard to deal with I know but tell him that I am proud of what he did for that owl . We just lost most of the new chicks that we just bought. They arrived on Wednesday morning early and by that night most of them were dead. For some reason our bedding started to smoke from the heat lamps and so they died of smoke inhalation. We had a very sad night also. we still have about 6 that may not make it the rest of the day. There was nothing different that we could have done. Still it is hard to take and think about. Give that young man a hug from me.

Awww I was hoping the owl would make it! So sorry, Nash! I know it’s a part of the process, but it’s also a bit difficult to experience, but God knows what he’s doing! I hope y’all get some babies and are able to raise them to be able to go back to the wild! I love seeing that! Fyn and Angus, thanks for helping Mom get hay for the pigs 🐖! Great video today. I am sorry for the loss of the Owl Nash. Thank you for sharing such a great story about the Owl while he was with us. They truly are magnificent creatures. The puppies are so precious and growing too. They just gobbled up the puppy chow. Momma is so good to her puppies. I watch Grandpa and Grandma Doss Farm and there two sweet Great Pyrenees Riley and Revel they got from you look like the sweetest dogs and yet they know their jobs which just blows me away. I’m truly amazed how God makes working animals and they know exactly what their job is from birth. I pray Bryar did well in her surgery and all is well at the farm. God bless.

The puppies are all growing so fast!!❤ They are so cute walking around stumbling ❤ Im sure the pigs will appreciate the hay😊. I noticed the old Austin America in the background. I love older cars!! Is it a 69 or 70?? Love the old ford truck too😊The old cars and trucks have character. They all look alike anymore.❤ Hope the Austin still running. It looks great!!! Those are beautiful horses!!! So big and intimidating to me. The spring blooms are always a welcome sight after a long winter. Aaron and the kids all live old cars too! The Austin America belongs to Hawken, I’ll have to ask what year it is. Aaron loves to buy junkie old cars or trucks and restore them, then sell them and repeat. It’s his stress reliever I think! And now he’s getting the kids hooked on it too. 👍🏽👍🏽
That joke of Nash's cracked me up! I am still chuckling as I type this, haha. I'm so sorry to hear about the owl. That's a shame. I'm also looking forward to seeing the wildlife this spring. I know it is sad for the animal(s) but I think it's wonderful that they have you and your kiddos to love on them, feed them, tend to them even if they do pass. It's better than they dying at the hands (mouth) of another animal in the wild in so much pain, etc. It is so interesting to see how you care for them, learn a bit more about the species by getting a close up view of them. I appreciate you sharing it with us.
Aaron and Lori, you have to be so very proud of your kiddos. It's lovely to see them working together and taking on some responsibility with the animals, etc. That comes from good parenting so my hat is off to you both. It's clear you have raised them in a loving, supportive home with expectations of cooperation, compassion, and so on while teaching them the value of being responsible and learning to have a strong work ethic. It's what is missing in many homes these days. I think too many parents try too hard to be their kids' friends instead of parents. Friends comes later once they've learned all the things a parent teaches their children. Heck, I'm 53 yo and I still learn from my mom all the time, haha! She is also now my best friend.

it sounds like you breed your dogs a lot, are you a registered breeder?
We breed them now and then, they are purebred but not registered. Many people in our area have predator problems and these dogs solve that for them.
