Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery!
I was cringing at Matt plasma-cutting straight at his fuel tank, but then I remembered it’s probably empty anyways and felt much better.
A empty tank can blow quicker than a full one cause of the fumes,a full will blow but I think you have a extra 2 seconds 😅😂.
Nearly empty is the worst it can be - it's the vapour mixed with air that goes bang.
😂😂😂😂😂❤
Too have that on camera would be epic
I’m just glad people came in to show off their knowledge, rather than just laughing at the joke.
It's nice to see Ed in good health. I hope he knows how much we enjoy seeing him and getting updates!
Thank goodness Peanut was there to keep you guys lined out.
Great to see Ed up and moving about without his neck brace. Stay safe until next time.
That was cute. Peanuts is such a nice wee dog, and she clearly loves her dad just like her dad loves her. I've had two dogs that recognized the car being loaded for a trip, and they'd get in the car hours before we left, and refuse to get out. 'I'm, coming with you. End of!'.
Since Tom is a nuclear engineer, can he explain the physics behind how Matt’s phone stays so firmly in his shirt pocket?
Matt was turned to steel when he traveled time, for the future of mankind.
He is the actual Iron man and highly magnetic.
Victory pies 😂 that’s how
@@charleswidmore5458
Apple iPhone and Android devices use NAND flash memory, which are not affected by magnets. Since there is nothing magnetic in solid state or flash drives and they have no moving mechanical parts, mobile devices are immune to magnetic fields.
Editing, bet it hits the ground alot
He’s lost it a few times lol
Thumbs up for Lizzy. She is the key to the show that brings it all together... for me anyway. I could watch her read a mexican phone book.
I am glad to see the Banana getting some love. She is still a very capable machine for recoveries, and she will make a great support vehicle as well.
Prehistoric photo of the banana. Excellent
Hey Ed, congrats on getting your neck brace off. Looking forward to seeing you back out on the trail.
I have no doubts in Matt, Tom's, and Lizzies ability to get it done to a high standard but Matts marking out looking like a toddlers drawing of a house is hilarious.
Did peanut just say we didn’t go far enough…. Lol
That's what I heard her say! Lol
She didnt have to say it.. look said it all. 😆
It was worth it. Impressive lean. Nice support for the non-profit theater.
Can’t imagine the amount of content that has to be sifted through to make each video. But we are so appreciative of the behind the scenes look!
Though Lizzy is probably the right choice as the t-shirt model, I do think we need a special edition run where Matt and Tom pose as the merch models.
They’re better models for the gloves I think
I cannot tell you enough how much I like your crew, Matt, Tom, Lizzy spouses etc. What a good group of people. Oh, and Peanut too!
I think Jamie needs a 4 door jeep permanently. Great that you are always promoting your local businesses.
Somehow don't think they need more promotion then what they have 🤣🤣🤣😂
Jamie’s is the Tangerine and have used it on recovery from time to time. It needs upgrading.
@@bulletproofpepper2 Yes, she has an xj, but she has been driving the white rental JLU since the wrecker games. A JLU 392 would complement the morrvair with greater weight and horsepower.
The editing just keeps getting better and better. Nice job showing the personalities of Matt, Tom, Lizzie and the rest of the team!
Lizzie: wrangler, rancher, wrecker driver, welder and now model. The woman knows no limits!
Except how a seatbelt works.
@@GavB A seatbelt is a limit 😂
And wife... so she limited herself to one man! 😎👍
You forgot dancer.
She showed what women are capable of more than all gender studies graduates together...
Matt's drawing skills with the sharpie aren't mistakes - they are just happy little accidents. 😂😁😇🤟
OMG the AI generated image of bob ross x matt was hilarious
Gotta love Tom converting millimeters to 1/16” from memory😂
As with all science he was forced to use metric. In HS we would do all out math in standard and in the very end convert our answer to meteric to meet science standards 😂
About 6 months in an American engineering job, and it becomes second nature to fly back and forth between millimeters and thousandths of an inch.
Haha he's ahh wicked smart fella. Would have taken most of us a hot minute to Google that 💩 haha 😂
25.4/16 =more than 1 but less than 2 simple
@@Bratfalkenhe gave the exact answer in thousandths, not more or less than 1 or 2
I sure do appreciate Tom's contributions to the show Matt. You guys are a superb team!
Happy mothers day to all of the morr family and great video and great job with your jeep hopefully no more broken shock bolts and stay safe and God bless from GA
You guys and your editor and killing it lately. Keep up the great work! Peanut has the side eye down really well.
I think Peanut was having PTSD from that high speed ride down the street demonstrating the excessive body lean...
I am so happy to see Ed looking much more comfortable. Yay🎉🎉
i love the controlled chaos that is always present in almost all MORR projects.
Isn't Lizzie just so naturally lovely, nothing seems to faze her, her husband is a very lucky man.
Nice work, one more item off the list.
And To the ladies of Matt's off road recovery have a good mother's day and God bless amen.
Good morning every one! Thumbs UP to Matt and crew! Today they got a call and are out and about getting them stuck and broken down vehicles out! 👍🌞🏁
Great to see Lizzy involved. Smart improvement that will make the Banana be a better rescue vehicle.
Absolutely worth taking it off the lift to show us how much that banana leans. Thank you guys for that. Thx Tom great idea
Good morning Ed..you look great..hope to see you on the trails in one of the next rescues..Matt love's your help..
MORR layout and fab work, please. Like the longer length videos on Sunday that show more fab work and details. Please add MORR!
5:54 Tom being the Count (Sesame Street) after Matt counts mufflers.
I love this channel. Regardless of what kind of day I'm having I can watch 1 of these videos & have a smile on my face & feel better by the end!! Thank you!! Happy Mother's Day Jaime & the rest of the Mothers in the world.
The editors deserve an A+ for this video.
Well done.
I like the way you weld up your axle brackets while the axle is complete, I think it helps with keeping the axle from bending with the heat
That WAS worth it. I didn't think it would be so visible on camera just how far it leans in turns
Glad to see Ed without the "Cone of Shame". lookin' good!
Lizzy and Jaymie doing the vacation spot gig is right on. You girls work good together. Nice!
I would weld a back plate to the inside of the Barnes ORI bracket to keep the dust and mud from coming inside the vehicle, If you haven't already thought of that. I would first paint it yellow so it makes the Barnes Off Road stand out. Great job and thanks for bringing us along.
Loved Tomtom's wife's cameo! She must be amazingly patient & she is a real beauty🌹‼️💛
Remember how the worlds biggest tow truck front tires got into the shocks…? Same thing can happen to the springs. It’s cool to mount them bit of an angle.
I'm medically retired from the army. I have a 2000 jeep cherokee xj sport that's the same color the banana started off as. It's nothing to look at though 😂 So I know how generous you guy's are with charity work 😉 if you have any of the original parts or upgraded parts that you have taken off. I'm not the type to take charity, so please don't 😉 send me any of those parts you're not using anymore. I would would never take any handouts 😉 it would be way too much to ask of anyone to help a disabled veteran 😉 besides I live kinda far from you here in NY and even though you guys make a lot of money with the business and channel I still couldn't take any help from you 😉😉 😂😂😂😂 Seriously though I really enjoy watching your channel. Love your crew and content. There's no 1 out there as great as you and your crew 😉😉 you're definitely my favorite channel 😉😉 you guy's seem like you have a great time working with 1 another working with that type of environment is my type of place to work because it's really not work if you enjoy what you're doing. ❤❤
Yeah upgrades on the Banana that were badly needed to keep up with the Morrvair. This will be so much better now. Good to see Lizzy back on the welder again! Good job 👍
Ed is looking very good. Great to see
I really enjoy the mornings I turn on my computer and find a new episode of MORR waiting for me. Thank you, TEAM (no matter how you participated in getting these videos to you tube) for your efforts to keep me entertained. Lol - have a good day.
LOL I was NOT expecting to see the Jeep lean that much. That was actually crazy. I had a 88 Yota solid axle swapped on a 6inch lift and it leaned a little bit but not that much 😅.
I had an ex-police car for a taxi for awhile. I could move the steering wheel back and forth fairly quickly and it would just wiggle, no body roll at all. I guess that's why they handle so well.
@@georgevindo oh definitely. One of those old crown vics or something similar? Those things are tanks, super wide and low center of gravity.
@@tex_gil117 No, it was a 90 Caprice. I retired it at 666,000 Kms.
@george vindo oh, they are almost exactly the same body style. My grandma had one, they had about a thousand buttons for the front chairs lol.
Lizzy is such a dream girl for any western Utahn man. She is beautiful, she can weld, ride horses, move cattle, swing dance, and she is fun. Married now though. There might be more like her out here though. But not many.
I don't know when it happened but the editing for this video has changed a lot and for the better! The hammer music, the samurai slicing, the little touches. I'm really enjoying it!
Zach was introduced at the Wrecker Games as the new video editor. I think the other editor is Michael.
6:20 Holy cow....with every blow from that hammer, the frame of the Banana just nudges more and more to the passenger side!!! Glad you ran out of hammering.....😳
Most likely the modifications will never stop for the Banana. Great stuff.
I absolutely love the ad for the amphitheater I’m glad you guys are venturing out of UA-cam ad. it’s cool to see the local stop
Great to see the MORR vehicles constantly evolving and getting even better!👍
it's great to see Ed moving about and happy mothers day to the ladies with the crew...and good to see you and the crew always making updates and repairs on your fleet...keep making great videos and appreciate your crew and the help of your wife Jamie keep up the great work
Gotta love an Estwing claw hammer! (same model as yours) I've had mine for 38 years and its still going strong! Great content as usual!
That was very informative & highly entertaining - with two sterling personalities & mechanic wizards, Tom sounds at times as if he's bright enough to teach, but backs off & lets it go; & Matt with a wonderful style of his own.
I've been a Makita fan for going on fifteen years, mostly in woodworking. I had a metal project coming up and bought that exact metal circular saw because of your videos. It really does cut like butter.
It sure did lean a bit, not a bad burn either. Will be interesting to see how much more stable it is and how that affects it's rock crawling ability.
Bilstein 5100s are definitely worth the money. A little stiff but I can attest as well that they take a beating. Love seeing a stoker roast tires that size. People tend to forget the torque on 4.0s
It's good to see Lizzy. Happy Mother's Day to all
That editing at 6:30 was *well* done, good job team!
It’s coming along nicely so far guys. Can’t wait to see what’s coming up. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
11:55 take a piece of ducttape, stick that piece of Banana to the wall and call it art
At least that way you don't have to worry about someone eating it and putting the peel back.
Belated Congratulations on the Nuptuals, Lizzie.
Nevertheless, I still think of you as my favorite little sister.
Your skill with the welder likely has many envious, but mostly because of the team and equipment you work with.
Another great creative day at the shop with Matt ,Tom and Lizzy
Great video Matt and Tom, glad to see Lizzy there and doing her thing in the shop, good luck with the rest of the work on the banana, David, North Ogden, Utah. ❤❤❤.
Glad that stock Jeep is staying mostly stock.
that sadness about the lost hour story is a fascinating view into how Matt thinks about work and motivates himself
Thanks for the video. Hello to everyone. Great to see you Ed. I hope you continue to heal up really well. Is Lizzie alright? She just seems a lot quieter these last few videos. I hope you are alright Lizzie. I always enjoy see you in these videos.
I honestly think she's sad because she's gone down to part time because her husband wants her to. I noticed this as well!! Hard!! If he's controlling her I'm gonna take him down.
I think lizzie was kind of pushed to the side
@@troyhendon5802 nah I don't see that, I think it's her husband.
@@JF32304 it's amazing that you can speak with authority about Lizzie's domestic situation without knowing any actual facts. How do you know what her husband wants her to do? And why do you think he controls her life? Is it so you can have an adversary to show off your manliness to the world via UA-cam comments? Take him down? Really? News flash: She's still not gonna date you, lol.
@@bripslag haha if you pay attention at all to the videos she specified it when she said she's going to part time so she can work on her husband's ranch, this statement was said with sadness. She loves what she does. I have no desire to date her (are you in your early 20's btw) you seem like you don't know what's going on with the world around you. She's not happy about going to part time I can tell you that.
3:03 Definitely worth it! 👍 Nice demonstration of some serious body roll.
Tom’s homage to The Count.😅
Great to have Ed back sans brace. That had to be uncomfortable.
Forty thousnths is your mm. Nice to see Lizzie around a bit more than some days we get through. And on that note i think she is the good fab to clean and finish the rear mounts into the monocoque and the bars. You men made a proper hash of that one! But the application is solid thinking. Also in one inch 25.4 X 0.040" . 1/16" / mm is pretty ruff!
add right backup light to list of repairs lol
Respect to the on beat edits during the sledgehammer montage. Great work!
I was a bit worried when Matt was hitting the banana with the sledge hammer, I could see it slowly moving across on the lift arms
Matt, I'm from Poland, we have here something like an annual technical inspection of all road-legal cars. With all respect to your job and the quality of those modifications but our technical inspector would die of a heart attack when he would have to sign the positive results of the inspection. Even if all tests would be ok.
Anyhow, great job.👍
I wonder, do all these 11% upgrades stack? 😁 Thanks for letting us come along!
Lizzie's ranch is going to have the best farmer welds going.
When you took your sway test run I don’t know if you saw peanut running after you. She was saying, you forgot the puppy. Her contract says “You are not supposed to forget the puppy, ever” right.
Minute 6:30 - 6:35 is a video editing work of art. *cheff kiss*
Great editing when hammering to the beat
Can hardly wait to see the banana up and running again and even better
It's always good to focus on "everything else" 😂😂
That's my XJ going down the freeway. Got cheap weak shocks with no sway bar in the rear. 😅
Don't put a metal cutting blade in an regular wood saw. The wood saw spin too fast for cutting metal.
That saw runs at low rpms to cut with the diamond blade designed for cutting metal. To make the banana quieter, first look at your mounts. If it is a solid mount will transfer into the body. Second, get carpet back in it even if it is trash. You would be amazed how much it helps even reinstalling the front section.
It's awesome how Lizzy is the daughter Matt & Jamie always wanted, they watch over her so well
Lizzy is the daughter of Matt's great friend, Stuart. She is no relation to Matt or Jaymie.
@Warren Don hence why I said the daughter they wanted instead of their own daughter, I've known for months she is the daughter of Matt and Jaymies best friends
@@lyleswavel320 Sorry! I mis-read your original post.
@@warrendon1388 Just deleted my reply. It's my new thing; not pouncing or correcting things that have already been corrected.
Glad to see everyone on mother's day,
Happy, happy 😊
That's almost as bad as my mom's CR-V back when it was still around. I'd be taking curves and nearly flip the thing, whereas I would take the same curves with a RAV4, an MDX, and a Highlander at the same speed and not have an issue.
Matt, give Lizzy the Welder back. Your welds will look much neater and there will be less of a chance of your springs being left behind somewhere 🛺 Toot toot 🏴👍🏻
Inspiration comes in many forms. Bracket cobblers unite!
I still can’t believe Tom is a highly educated nuclear engineer and here he is banging on an old jeep with his buddy.
Tom is a retired nuclear engineer.
Like many here, I love tools. I am a woodworker but when I saw that little makita metal saw I went down to the woodworking store here in Orem and bought one. I use it all the time now and it makes cutting round stock and flat stock a breeze.
Good MORRning Everyone... Hoping You Have a Fabulous Sunday/Funday...
Wishing the Beautiful Jamie and Moms Everywhere a Happy 😊 MORR-thers Day...
Wonderful seeing 👀 Ed without the neck brace, Hoping he's feeling as good as he's looking...
We thoroughly enjoy 😊 the FABRICATION Videos... almost, yeah almost as much as the Recoveries...
Thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing... Keep Up the Great 👍 JERB
Lizzie looked pissed throughout most of this video.
That hammer strike edit was amazing 10/10. No notes.
Funny I was just wondering where Lizzy has been
I really liked those short musical snippets, I was waiting for more but they didn't come.
Im happy everytime i see lizzy on the videos 🤘🏻
I think everyone gets happy because it’s the one member that still around when it all started.
@@ernestopadilla5382 i agree...she is a charm to the channel..her beautiful smile,innocent face..tough looking lady,hard working,skillful makes why everyone loves her
@@ernestopadilla5382 Lizzy came in quite a bit later, Matt and Ed were working together long before that
Good to see you again ED. Missed ya. Gorgeous pic of Lizzy in the Black T. Consider a Panhard Bar?
A piece of tubing between the Barnes brackets would be a good idea.
No one introduced the lady carrying the container of milk.
