There was so much less crime when we used to take care of criminals ourselves, and before we turned our safety over to government. We had a county sheriff who could deputize people if need be and that was it.
No, there was more crime. That's why people had to act.

Because of government intrusion into our lives there are far more laws, so in a sense there are more convictions for those. Drug prohibition for example. They amended our Constitution to make alcohol illegal for 12 years and realized it only created crime. It gave the govt power though so they created drug prohibition with no amendment to our Constitution. They took a relatively small problem and created a massive problem with entire industries born around it. Tax laws are another example. Prior to 1913 income wasn't taxed because it's immoral to tax people's labor. Now they imprison people for not paying.

The most common question for current year sociologists is just how many times does a career criminal have to get arrested before a social justice judge decides that the career criminal can’t be released again. Nobody knows the answer because the judges haven’t stopped releasing the criminals.

I don't care what color someone is but when you do bodily harm to an employee over a misunderstanding of a food order! Really!!? A woman was just killed in Memphis at a Church's for a wrong order. People have lost their damn minds! It's unsafe for all people: black, white, Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, etc.
