    Digging the look! Love that you’re not pushing the image too hard…subtle but effective.

      That’s the goal! Surprising how much can get into such a subtle look haha

    I use Capture One and everything it's quite similar until you reach Calibration. But at least the color of my photos are much better. Thank you very much for the video

    Great video, I came across your channel by looking into the Viltrox lenses, and really liked your style. I just moved to Sony from Fuji and have been struggling with getting decent colours. After trying various Lightroom presets on the internet that turned out to be not good, I saw this video, followed your steps and am really happy with the results. Not just a huge wash of colour but a subtle shift, so that everything stills feels real. Thanks very much, and I look forward to seeing more of your content on your channel.

    This is cool but I think the reason it’s overlooked is because the Fuji and Ricoh have in camera looks that militate the need to edit in most situations.

      But: you can still put the different edit “styles” to luts, that you then can upload in the camera…so you can have direct JPEGs without the “look” + raw for further editing…

    Hey thanks, no one on UA-cam is covering the A7C models like you are. Have you considered using Picture Profile settings for stills? I’m exploring those settings and getting really good film like looks with JPG’s SOOC. Sony needs to push that capability more, it’s a powerful tool and gives Sony a creative edge IMO. The Sony ‘look’ becomes whatever the artist wants.

    Great video! Any recommendation for hand-grip for Sony A7C because I only see for A7C ii?

    There is a creator that made a Sony film sims using picture profiles. So u can shoot film like pictures in camera. This is basically the reason I switch from Fuji

    Great video; it was easy to follow along! It's a very good starting point and will help a lot of people develop their own preset. Have you ever tried certain preset packs?

      @@JLeoH thanks for watching! I’ve bought many preset packs over the years mainly to study other people’s editing styles

    thx, but I miss the reason why you put the bars on a certain value or at least the direction, the „effect in theory“ so to say, especially in the exposure / color part.

    Hi, thanks for the tutorial! I’ve noticed that you’re using the Adobe Color profile. Do you tend to use Adobe’s generic profiles, or are there situations where you choose Adobe’s profiles for the Camera modes? Thanks!
    Btw I shoot concerts with variable light and I’ve found that the Adobe Standard works better as a base for presets with S-curves, HSL corrections. But pretty sure there are other photographers who would diss me for that 😃

      @DylanBlackburn  23 дні тому

      Honestly no specific reason. It’s just what I’ve always used… I’ll give Adobe Standard a try and see how it works!
