You got it, what we do today is preparing us for what is to come tomorrow. It is so important to continuously practice our craft, whatever that may be. Anyway, I've added @allformatcollective to my IG as well and look forward to seeing more of your color work!

Agreed. If we don't find ourselves setting new standards are we really challenging ourselves and others with our work? Will check out the stream later & keep an eye on the takeover. Nice one, Nick

I totally agree with you Nick, and I think Hegel explained this process very well in his dialectics.

Me too ahah. Anyway, you can find it here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dialectic , under Hegelian dialectic. if you are interested, you can read also this plato.stanford.edu/entries/hegel-dialectics/ , which is more in depth. Hope philosophy can help your creative process!

I’m really pleased you are sounding more upbeat than the last video I saw. All art is a learning curve, and if it wasn’t would it be worth it? My main way of learning is through my mistakes, and 50 years this year since I got my Kodak Instamatic 50 I still make howlers. I give my digital work to a charity that’s precious to me and I hate seeing my old images as I can rip them to pieces with what I should have done. So I must go well beyond it "...not achieving what I wanted to achieve...", but it still raise a lot of money for them.
I love the title of this video, it’s extremely true and that is for everybody. Trent Parke's image of the horses is amazing, but if you look at his most recent work it blows his old work out of the water. Mary Ellen Mark was improving right up to her death and some of her lesser known post 'Circus' images are stunning. I’m not a big Bruce Gilden fan, personal taste and purely subjective, but you can see growth in his work. Elliot Erwitt was involved in the recent Magnum 'Home' project and he was wanting to try new things. If all these giants, along with Annie Leibovitz who you mentioned are forever growing and swapping ceilings for floors, surely I can.
Fantastic video, and extremely motivational, good look with this week on Instagram and I’m sure your images will all be amazing.
