This was AMAZING, thank you Sam for taking my suggestion and giving it a try. Throughout the entire video I had a smile on my face seeing how much fun you were having, and realizing how different a perspective long lens street photography is. I’m glad you had fun, and keep on creating more and stressing less my friend.
Duude, take care of the camera mount, hurting me when you hold your camera through the body grip and not the lens, but amazing photos! Such a different perspective
Hurts me a lot as an aviation photographer.. big lenses always in our niche section of photography
For me it's the way he holds the lens with the tripod/monopod mount that hurts me. And it makes the lens heavier that it is used to.
@@picasary Isn't it normal to carry a lens like that by the tripod mount? I do that with my 150-600 all the time.
@@TGShunai imo i find it uncomfortable to hold it on the tripod collar while carrying and shooting with it. And also it makes it even less steady while shooting at a long focal length
Let's go! I can't wait for my 150-600mm in the summer. brilliant photos like always 🔥
I'm ngl I been waiting for this video for a hot minute and you didn't disappoint 🤣👏🏼👏🏼
Very good and intresting video! So many banger shots, I rly enjoy the look of punched in shoots. Keep it up man!
Absolutely sick shots, shooting with the 600mm really does change your perspective even if I haven't tried it before. Thanks for posting, Sam!
This is such a great video! The focal length definitely makes you rethink and evaluate your composition! I just got a Tamron 150-600 to try some wildlife, and I might head downtown to attempt this! Thanks for being such a great channel and providing this amazing content!
Amazing video as always, really fun!
the interaction with the dad might be the most British thing ive seen in a while lol
Love the content, keep on going man!
Really great to see 👌🏼 loved your shots with it 👍🏼
Fantastic video, really enjoyed watching your perspective shooting at those distances, fantastic photo’s mate
Cracking video Sam it just shows just try anything you never know what you will get 🔥🔥🇬🇧
So many bangers🔥
Keep up the good work Sam💙
Thank you 🙏
great video sam! you never disappoint with these videos, would love to see some more moments of you handing out photos to people…maybe find a portable digital printer so you can make prints for people from the street!
Great video Sam! Would be interesting to see a Street Photography POV using only a Macro Lens or a Tilt Shift Lens :)
After a long time really enjoyed this♥️
this is amazing the photos you get with this are just crazy and you can't get these with some ordinary lens. Honestly tempting me to look into this lens now haha that photo of that man sitting down that you took after you took the photo of the couple with the camera on the ground with the cobble ground was amazing I loved that picture!
It's sad that the father didn't accept that photo I feel like he may end up regretting it later as it's something nice to have, to look back on and also for the son when they get older. They'll never get the moment or the same opportunity again so it's just sad to think about honestly. It never hurts to accept the image either cos what's the worse that can happen they have a high-quality image they'll be able to keep forever :(
It was nice of you to go back and ask again to make sure that he knew but you tried your best and didn't want to annoy them so it was the best you could do. I saw another comment that you liked of someone saying you should get a little printer and I think the same! :) I was going to say the same as I saw Pierre T. Lambert do that and hand out photos to people if he thought they would appreciate it on a video of his the other day.
The perspective on this thing fully zoomed is so extreme, I love it.
I like you went out of your comfort zone today and got some of your best street photos in quite sometime!
Never seen Sam look so happy, definitely buy it mate you had a lot of fun shooting and I did watching hahaha lovely video as usual, liked.
This is one of my favorite videos using the 200-600 lens. I rented it a few days ago and have been using it for sunrises, moon shots, a bit of wildlife but mostly street photography and videography. You really do get a unique perspective. I'm still torn whether I should get this or the 70-200mm (which I haven't tried yet). I like street photography at night, so the 2.8 GM might be better for me. I will own them both eventually though.
Hahaha this was so refreshing man! As if you're walking with a bazooka around London. Really loved the new perspective!
My favourite lens, on my A1 90% of the time. I sometimes use it with a 1.4x which makes it a f9 @840mm, so the light gotta be good.
Great pov as always! very cool focal length
Great shots and video as always
Blimey Sam that lens is insane lol love the video and shots though
THESE SHOTS ARE INSANE
That lens is a monster! Great shots 👌🏾
Brilliant pictures Sam, I bet you got some funny looks with that massive thing in your hands 😅
Awsome lenses I love my one great video
Interesting! I also love those messages things you've edited in saying to subscribe 😂
Sam, You should try and shoot with a Voightlander hyperwide 10mm for Sony, its an awesome lense for architecture shots,i am coming to London on the 11th June for all day photography and will look forward to using mine for the buildings ,i cannot wait, its a brilliand lense
Such a great video, i rlly enjoyed that one, but i think it would be a very interesting thing if you're going to do a POV with a fisheye lense.
Ok now you make me wanna try a 200-600 :D Seems like it would fit my kind of photography style
This is mental Sam, I felt bad enough with the Fuji Xc 50-230 after watching Curtis Padley using his 70-300, in Manchester no less so made it easier for me but much harder trying to find different shots
Woooooo
Daaamn, that thing is insane... I need it xd
😍🤟🏻
That looks like a fun day out.
thanks for taking us along for arm day.
Cool, I have a long lens, for wildlife the sigma 150-600, never thought of using it for street photography. Might be fun to try it out. And, cuz we’re used to the long lenses, holding it up isn’t a problem anymore lol
That lens is a beast 😮
Looks like a fun lens for street photography. Right now I'm looking at either a 300mm 2.8 or 400mm 3.5.
Interested to see kinda what you can do with a Sony kit lens 28-70mm - see what quality of photos that comes out! Loved the video!
Tele street photography is honestly one of my faves. Went out with a 50-600mm equivalent lens and mostly stayed at 600mm. It really brings the scenery super close to the subject and makes for very unique photos. 😳
Awesome vid wondering for a challenge how’d you do with a macro lens and street photography ahahha
🖤💪
that's crazy
I just bought a 200-600 for aviation photography and I was trying to figure out how I could incorporate it into more of a daily lens. Some good ideas here to try and get some unique shots. Thanks for the video.
From the 600 how about going small - not seen you use Ricoh GR3 i dont think
Hey very cool video !! I wanted to ask something if I would get this (Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C, Canon EF Fit) would it fit on the (VILTROX EF-M2 speed booster x0.71) and I could on my Panasonic AF used?
I was WANDERing if buying this for my street/wildlife...man you broke my brainXD.
I am gonna buy NOW, thank you
Nice shots...(also nice lens)....currently using some Sony gear...I plan on getting that lens for street...Aviation... and boats...along with the occasional bird....(I am retired living in Bangkok)... so... lots of uses for the tele...back...way back...I did a bit with the old AF Minolta 500/8 mirror lens...Loved it!...Cheers
I’d be impressed to see you shoot street with any sort of long prime, shots would be amazing but very hard to get haha!
I have this lens for my A1 and I never even thought of using it for street. Il have to try now
Cool photos using the 600mm.
omg-ver unreal ,have a good day!
Brilliant as always, loved the Big Ben shots.
Sam can you let me know what bag you use, im looking for something to hold two cameras and 5 lenses
Hey 👋 it’s this one amzn.to/3xdybeJ
Just got this lens and its beautiful
What does the round button on the lens do?
great video
Oh hey, that's me on the bus at 2:38 haha
No way ???
@@Opticalwander I'm just glad you got a good picture 😂
@@rebel-moto5862 what’s your IG handle ?
Daaaannnnggg sam that's some shit stuf
Enjoyed a lot mate 🔥👌🏻
Yowsers! I feel conspicuous on the street with an 85mm. Hells, I was even self conscious at the _zoo_ with a 150-600mm - can’t imagine having the nerve to use it on the street. Maybe I should dig it out again. Needs a sunny day though, and an even stronger arm (mine weighs 3kg).
u made me want to buy one 😂👌💯
This is a beast of lens. Your photos are amazing. The way you hold it make it heavier than it should and I find it annoying. haha.
Would love to see what you can do with the sigma 105mm f1.4
Can you create some videos with this lens!? Great video!!!
I found your channel by searching for 200-600mm street photography and have been a subscriber ever since. Hope you'll get out there again and do a sequel. Cheers.
a bit extreme but it's where I like street photos. when I shoot street, I typically have 300mm eq lens. Love it as I don't like to interact with my subjects at all but I want them to fill the frame
I brought this lens, absolutely awesome at wildlife photography
Sick..how can shots be sick??
Road to 100k subscribers sir congratulations 🎉🎉👏👏❤️❤️😇😇
Hehe, Sam do street photo's with the Samyang 8mm !!!!
the new presets have been taken off from the website??
Try shooting with a really wide angle tilt shift lens but you cant leave it in the middle
Can you do POV street photography using canon 600D for proving that we don’t need expensive camera to get good photos .
Hey there. Going to New York City next week. Is 80mm-150mm sufficient?
I use the P900 for this, in specific cases 2000mm the photograph is incredible.
👍🏻
Never seen you do macro! Maybe a good experiment?
Londoner!
Hi man ,I would like it to do it with the samsung galaxy s21 ultra and the s22
Yeah. Such lens allows for quite unique perspective. But i find it creepy to shoot people with such long lens.
HOW YOU MAKE THE EDIT POV I LOVE SEE THIS
Try kit lens the 18-55
Only street photography gear introverts want
Which city is that it is absolutely gorgeous
That 600mm looks a bit shorter than i thought, it still looks absolutely bonker 🤣
you looked like a guy with a gun
Only Sam..can scare the shit out of you by carrying like that😂
Got the same lens and even used it with the 1.4x converter. So basically the 600mm is 840mm. That’s just ridiculous
Is that the A7IV?
should've dashed the lens at your camera for your outro lol
i enjoyed this, Sam! fun!
Glad you enjoyed 🙏
I use a 70-350mm on an A6400. I would be so self conscious carrying that fire hydrant around with me!
A message in the video told me to like the video for the algorythm :D....also maybe as a challenge, photoshoot with the GoPro. :D
POV with a vintage lens on your Auiv?
You should try a pinhole lens
I k ow it would be less viewable but it’s a lot easier to hold if you use the viewfinder and brace against your body. I’ve shot motor sport for years and can happily hand hold a 400 prime.
Hit the nail on the head. It’s not very engaging if it’s 18 minutes or so of just the tip of the lens poking into frame at the top. But also if you’ve been doing it years you’ve built up muscle memory to carry this thing around. But of course VF would of helped more
Especially with stability.
