Sadly it only applies to unique and rare tanks such as: tuxedo tank, football tank, ect. But i think there is a mod for what you're looking for in the workshops.

They did this with the horde themes, I guess they didn't with the tank because they wanted it to be distinct. Like the special infected sounds.
