Paul- I don't believe that I have ever properly thanked you for your channel since I found and subscribed a couple years ago. What a great hobby. You are so lucky to be able to keep a record of the homes you come across. Even though I am from California, USA, I always wanted to visit Australia. Thank you for sharing some amazing sites I would not seen even if I had come to Australia. Too old, too many health problems now. Thank you Paul for all your hard work.

Just would like to say how much I enjoy Sunday morning waking up to watch your videos I really like this one coz they are really old but it's too bad that they're so bad of shape you have a great day and God-bless
That looks like my grandparents house! In the second set of houses, the old settlers home you called it. Except they only had a front porch. Tin roof and the sides had those old “tar tiles” on the sides. My grandfather built it in the 30’s and raised 3 sons & wife (all 3 boys were born there). He had them & his mother& sister to support on 20 acre’s of cotton. Dadddy ( born in 43) grew up picking it by hand. They had 1 cow for milk and grew a garden for their food. Dad & his brothers would hunt for meat. Daddy has said they never went hungry. But he joined the US Army to get away from being dirt poor. We are in North Louisiana.
Wow blue4honor your description painted a vivid picture of your family and thier life and how living off the land was possible and done while raising family. Amazing to think about. SO glad you have all those details. Thanks for the support and for watching :-)

Urbex Indigo thanks for sharing this good video about Abandoned- 4 old cottages with stuff left while nature reclaims them in the countryside this was a very interesting enjoyable video and i really enjoyed it and i can't wait to see your next video iam from the U.S.A and i always will watch your videos keep up the great work that you do and God Bless and thanks again.
🌟Hi Paul! Sorry I was a little late today Just love these rustic cottages stepping back in time figuring out the history and what stories could be told if the walls could talk love the tongue and grove. Such a shame they are left to decay by nature. Glad the rain is holding off so you can get out exploring. Thank you so much again. 😊❤️🌟:-)
Loved the spooky intro Paul 😁. Really enjoying seeing these beautiful old country homes, i grew up around Wangaratta and it’s good to see country Victoria again 😍💗
The second cottage in the set of three was so interesting. I agree with you it would be great to see it restored! Be interesting to see what the price would be for the sale property and what it included. The restoration would probably be horrific with the price of lumber and the cost of vintage doors, windows etc. But couldn't it be beautiful. Thanks for the explore!
Just wish I lived in Australia and had loads of money. Would love to be able to buy that plot of land and get the 2nd cottage professionally restored to its former glory. The rest of the land I would make into a cat sanctuary somehow and take in all the strays. I just love seeing your explores and listening to all the wonderful birds. We have nothing like that in England. Love your channel xx
Paul one of my favorite things about these old homes are the ceilings, seeing the wood details of the tongue and groove. Thank you for sharing these old cottages with us.
Great video, almost like country houses. Really love the second house. It had good vibes and a comfy feel to it. I try to imagine how it looked with it was lived in and loved. I liked that old coffee press on the table, bet it once made a lot of good coffee.
I agree Paul ..the 2nd cottage is fabulous ...It certainly could be restored it to its former glory ..Im wondering if all three properties are for sale? ..if so ..use any salvageable timber etc to restore the second cottage .......such a peaceful vibe inside ..The history ..Love it ....
Good morning Paul, that was so beautiful that row of cottages in such a tranquil road,I love to restore the second one, those french doors opening to the back veranda with that chair I just loved it this video was so nice thanks Paul for another great morning with great finds . big 🤗 from a Frenchy in Australia 🇫🇷🇦🇺
I really enjoyed viewing your explores of old colonel cottage 🏚thank Paul. Each cottage would have so much history and a story to tell. I also agree that one of the ol cottages would do up nicely if no damage from termites etc.
I loved the second cottage in the first lot and the second little cottage is a beauty well done on Finding these mate another top notch video keep it up looking forward to the next ones
Love these cottages. This reminds me of a documentary I saw years ago whet would happen if people vanished. Very interesting, I'd love to watch that again. great job as usual!!!

You mentioned the questionable colour combinations within the cottages in an effort to improve interior aesthetics. The technique is referred to as a 'Dulux Rebuild.' Another great explore Paul.👍👍🇭🇲
@@urbexindigo5164 Fun fact: The term ' Dulux Rebuild' originated from the Australian mining industry where Dulux was the primary supplier of speciality protective coating and the sitewide practise of quickly repainting prominent stationary plant to appear 'aesthetically pleasing' when executives and CEOs do site visits combined !! 👍👍🇭🇲
Interesting explores again with great video recording. I wonder how much they were asking for the first property (or properties). On the 2nd explore. I don't know what a "reserve" means but it appears to me to have once been a farm of some type with all those out-buildings.
In the second set of cottages, the first one that looked like an old settlers home. I don’t know if anyone believes in this stuff, but when panning up from the bottom of the fireplace you see a small orb go up and then on the left you’ll see some light flashes from it on the wall as well.
Hi YP :-) I will have to have another look. Yep I believe in paranormal but also when using a light in front of a camera it makes dust look like orbs too. Cheers for watching :-)
The second house needed a good clean out and scrub down. Replace a couple of windows and the floorboard, mow around it and cut the briars and you would have a sweet little home. I've lived in some houses that make that place look like a palace but with some paint and TLC they looked a lot better when I left than they did when I moved in.
Wow, Fabulous old homes 🤩 I am sitting here (with a beer in my hand!) just trying to imagine the layout and what life would have been like in these homes when they were active 🤔 Any idea of when these were built? They look early to me, possibly 1860s/70s?

Hi Paul, You always know where the good houses and cottages are. I like that last one the best. Too bad the interior door was locked and we couldn’t see the rest of the place. I wish we could have gone in that last cottage, the one on blocks that you said was probably moved there. Those cottages look like they were well made. It too bad these old places get vandalized and really messed up. That third cottage was the worse one. I can’t believe that one is for sale. Maybe it’s like you said it could be for the 3 lots. It’s a shame that these nice old places are just left there to rot. I’m sure they have lots of history behind them. Also you have some loud birds. In a lot of your videos you have these loud birds. I wonder what kind of birds they are. We have birds here in the USA but none as loud as the ones we hear in your videos.
