I put the hashtags in a comment directly below the caption. The caption attached when the image is uploaded cannot be edited or deleted. When I want to increase engagement on a particular image, I can delete that separate comment, change them to new or similar hashtags, and post them in a brand new comment, maybe with additional information and a new question.
Spot on advice about caption emotions! I've been using boost app social lately, and it's been super helpful in nailing that inspirational tone in my posts. Plus, it's pretty neat for finding unique hashtags. Maybe it could spice up your handmade product captions too!

@@mrs.quills7061 I follow a couple other people who give advice teach people how to grow on IG and between them and my own experience have learned these kind of captions don't work. Even though I personally think they're great lol. IG algorythm favors carousels now.

Should i be running shorter sales? i am new to etsy and i have set sales for 1 month. but shops/products i have favorited seem to run different sales every week.
It's up to you to decide based on your ideal customer! But if you have only been on Etsy for 1 month, I would suggest giving it some time before discounting your pricing. Hope this helps! - L

I was thinking the same exact thing. Most people won’t tap the read more option. I typically don’t. You have to keep it quite short and simple.
