Thanks fam
I was at this lounge 2 weeks ago and did a lounge tour video. The observation deck is pretty nice and I liked being able to get some fresh air.
Yes, the deck is unique and nice change of pace for this lounge.
Great video, very nice for anyone who hasn't been in a sky club before and wants to know what it's like. Thanks!!
I appreciate that
This makes me want a long layover. In 2019, the lady at the sky club desk warned me to upgrade my gold AMEX card because access wouldn’t be granted soon. I ignored her, the pandemic hit, fast-forward to vaccines and I traveled again. Oh, that AMEX upgrade! 10 days to get the card = no access for me. Grrrrr. There’s a huge difference between waiting in the club vs. out at the ‘bus stop’ of waiting areas. I have the new card now and look forward to using it.
Very comfortable
Much appreciated and excellent choice of background music! Cheers
Thanks
We went to the A Gate Sky Club at Atlanta. The breakfast buffet was nice, nothing special but nice. Eggs, potatoes, toast and sausage patties. Plus other things like Fruit, cereal and oatmeal. But what I liked was how quiet it was compared to the main terminal. We then went to the C gate for our plane which was delayed an hour due to weather. So they let us in the C gate club even thought it was beyond our three hour window. Had a great view of the rain blowing side ways. But again, it was a much quieter place to wait than the main lobby.
Thanks for sharing your experience
Loved this very recent video of the beautiful Delta Sky Club in Atlanta.
Thanks
Nice review! Hope to check this lounge out some day.
Thanks Sam
I will be visiting this lounge in a week for the first time. Thank you for this review!
My pleasure
Do you have a membership card to use it at The Delta Sky Lounge?
It is Epic
The upped the price for Delta Platinum card holders to 50 dollars a person. Still for 100 dollars, good food, good drinks, all free, with no waiting in line for food like in the terminal.
Thanks for the input John!
Never planning on wasting money for things like this, but I fly often and I always walk past these entrances. Especially the one in ATL.
Thanks for the walk through tour, I was real curious how things looked in there. I was under the impression it was going to look like a nightclub inside.
I wish it was like a nightclub. Lol
Thank you for this
No problem 💯
Amazing
💯
It looks great. I think I’ll get a membership.
Cool 😎
Be there in 3 weeks, looking forward to hanging there in between flights
💯
Awesome video! In your tours can you also share the requirements to get access to these lounges? Do we need a certain class ticket or credit card?
I used to think you had to be rich to get lounge access, turns out you don't....
For most airline lounges you need minimum middle tier status. The first level of status doesn't have much perks and kind of a money grab. One of the easiest ways to do it is to have a credit card that offers lounge access. This is going the be the most affordable option and the best one in my opinion. These cards come packed with benefits and all kinds of travel perks that can total up to $1k a year. They do come with a hefty annual fee but there's ways to offset those fees. Before getting these cards make sure you can justify the fees and minimum spend for the sign-up bonus.
You can also buy a year lounger membership from the airlines (not worth it).
Or.... you can just pay the lounge access fee when you show up. This is ideal if you only travel 1x-2x a year by plane. Hope this helps.
You can get a Membership. I have one myself
Will do! 😍
I Am A Member and I Love It
Very comfortable
ABSOLUTELY
canceling my Delta Platinum after the changes today!
I understand why
Delta will lose a ton of loyal customers!!! They just screwed all their loyal followers! Great channel!@@ScottLeRay
How long before your flight can you access the lounge?
Anytime same day depending in traffic. They have the right change this depending on traffic.
I was there 4 years ago , on my way to São Paulo Brazil. I paid $59 and the food was excellent! I still cannot believe it also included unlimited alcoholic drinks. One bad thing I hated was their wifi absolutely sucked! How is the wifi now?
Cool! The wifi was great during my visit. How was Sao Paulo?
@@ScottLeRay , wonderful! São Paulo has a large population of Lebanese , Japanese , German and Italian. São Paulo actually has the largest Japanese population outside of Japan.
Wow. Very interesting. I'll have to add that to my list of places to visit.
To I have to be flying business or first class with delta in order to pay the daily fee and access?
Hey Starlet. Check out the Delta link below.

This is new to me, where do they load and not miss their flights in the lounge area?
This is basically just a room in the airport were you can just chill and have complimentary food/drinks. When it's time to board your flight, you'll leave the lounge and go board with everyone else.
I have a upcoming flight with a 5 hour layover in Dallas. Instead of paying to eat at a restaurant and sitting in those uncomfortable airport seats, I have the option of going to one of these lounges, have some complimentary food/drinks, pull out the laptop and get some work done, print some things, etc.
I hope I answered your question. Let me know if you have any others.
@@ScottLeRay yes thank you!! I understand!! I will be giving this a try myself!
@@alessicapryor5202 After your trip, let me know what you think. Enjoy
Are these included with first class Delta tickets for free?
No. Just Delta One tickets
I’m a regular skymiles member. Can i get in?
No. You can not enter by just being a skymiles member.
Everything free except alcohol?
Most of the alcohol is free too. 😎
I’ve been there
Good lounge
Was the bar free ?
Most drinks....but not all
@@ScottLeRay I bought first class thinking we could go in but I guess they changed the policy . Gonna try slipping them a 50 bill and see if I can get in lol
No beer?
Yes. They have beer
Is the bar self serving?
No. Self serve bars are typically only outside of the U.S
Can I get in with amex platinum?
Yep
Looks like a terrible cafeteria.
😂
You sure think you are so entitled to so much more.
Thanks for watching
This look like the local welfare office…. Hmmm No thx! I’ll keep using private jet lounge services! 😂
🤔
lol a bunch of rich people doing nothing.
You definitely don't have to be rich to enter this lounge.
