Collections like this arent admirable, but actually alittle sad. They show a person's true nature inside and how big of a void they have within them in their heart that they feel the constant need and attempt to fill that void with physical objects in order to bring them the happiness they seek. Yet this type of happiness is only temporal and must be constantly sustained with another item over and over again, continually. Especially items that they will never read from getting carried away with trying to keep that void filled. When a collection ends up consuming you like it has with this guy, it's actually alittle sad and shows how someone has just waisted away their life on materialism and buying physical objects that are here today and gone tomorrow instead of filling that void with eternal things of the heart that last forvever and cant be taken from us.... Like throwing the ball with your son out in the yard or creating a family and spending quality time with them, in creating memories that last forever. Those with massive inner collections of the heart are what's impressive, these kinds are just plain sad. But to each is their own.
@@Godsvessel4truth Bet your got a collection this big of Bibles lol. same theme all made up stories, difference is this guy knows Spiderman is not real.
awesome collection! do you have any tips for starting a comic collection? I have a manga collection but I know the comic universe is HUGE especially with marvel.
He recently did a video on that topic that is worth checking out! Edit: I think it's technically a manga video, but I have applied it to my comic book collection
My tips would be the following: 1- be happy, buy what you like and intrests you. You don't have to have everything just have what you like. 2- Don't buy too many in the same time that'll cause distraction and make you scroll through what you already read because you are excited to read the next one. 3- Always think before you buy if you will actually enjoy it instead of buying it for other minor reasons ( it looks good on the shelf - it has a good cover art ... etc). 4- Put a monthly budget. That will help you keep things in check. 5- Do not scroll through Amazon or IST looking for comics you might buy next when you already have many to read. This is a huge distraction and it might mean you have an addiction! 6- Enjoy what you are reading and appreciate the art. Take your time with each page. 7- Do not buy comics because they contain inappropriate scenes. Such ones usually have terrible story and rely on such scenes to attract the audiance. If you do buy then that wasn't a choice made by your brain! That is what I have in mind atm. Good luck with your collection and keep us updated.
