Everytime I return to listening to Montserrat Caballe, there is no question that I am always hearing her for the first time, as if, I have never heard her and the great new wonder of her command of vocal musical line. I am dumbfounded as other now first timers discovery to who in this worlfd is this singer? How Caballe's rich depth could only be who she was and to stand out, alone, DIVA. Thank you and what a time she marked! Grazie Maestro Bartoletti!
Caballé at her best!! Today's sopranos, not even at their best, can sing like that. I really don't know way, they just have to listen a little bit. And today's audience should be more critical like we use to be in the past.

Finalmente uno può lasciarsi trasportare da questa meravigliosa voce in un altro mondo che non è quello delle dive do oggi , Netrabko in primis. E pur vero che cosi bene non ha più cantato dopo 1l 1980.

Re the poor balance at the end - the chorus is not really to blame. I have this on video, and at the end she collapses onto the throne at the back of the set, and is farther from the mics than the chorus.
