Summary: Jerry asks Jackson to be Josh's godfather but Jackson appears to be put out rather than pleased. Jackson questions his dad's motives for asking him, but Jerry reassures his son that it's influenced by admiration rather than pity. His heartfelt words clearly mean a lot to Jackson, but he remains adamant that he doesn't want to be Josh's godfather.
Seeing Aaron with Josh is so cute - he's brilliant with kids!

Several things:
- I seriously love this.
- Aaron + kid = beautiful to watch
- I never thought I´d say this but I finally liked Jerry. Wonderful move and words from him. IDK for other people but for me it was very emotional moment
- And the turn for showing great acting today was for.... Marc: you absolutely believe he has a severe depression. They are all so great again and again
Charity isn't one of my favorite characters but she does have some funny lines, lol

Wow Jerry has a heart :-) Good acting that segment on his part.
This is the first time that I can truly enjoy watching an Episode from Emmerdale! At the end of the episode, Jerry's conversation with Jackson is really touching and meaningful. I'm amazed by the fact that someone like Jerry who used to be a very close-minded, strict, not really caring father figure can said those words and appreciate for what his son has been doing! And i'm just very happy that Hazel and jerry are trying to get along with each other! Aaron holding baby josh... so cute...

Wow Jerry was amazing for saying that to Jackson. Almost made me shed a tear. Glad he resolved his issues and is trying to please Jackson.
Babies/kids are allowed into bars in England??
Is that not a thing in other places? They're allowed in bars but not nightclubs so long as they don't drink alcohol.

Even though I did find it odd that Aaron was so comfortable with the baby (I'll write it off as a ploy to change in front of Jackson), I thought it was absolutely adorable and it made me love him even more!! So freaken cute!!!
@sanyrub I totally agree!!! Marc has being amazing for some time now. And I'm starting to like Jerry too, specially because he doesn't lie to Jackson.
He seemed so comfortable holding a child it was gorgeous to watch never thought aaron would be the type to like kids lol x
At the risk of repeating what everyone else is saying... Aaron with the baby was so cute! i never would have guessed Aaron would willingly hold a baby. He's just not the type, but now i have visions in my head. Danny had such a genuine smile on his face *sigh*

Jerry has really changed for better from what he was the first we met him by Jackson´s hospital bed. I´m glad the writers have at least that right. I hate seeing Jackson so sad.
Why is he drinking and driving with the baby ?
Not to be funny as Aaron is adorable when holding a baby but who hands the baby to person who's getting the round in? Kind of makes it hard to carry the drinks..

@coopersplains i completely agree with the storyline getting dull... for somebody who doesn't want any sympathy he certainly can't seem to leave this pitty party.. im hoping one of these days he's going to have the teeniest little sensation in his hand or something.
If Jackson agrees to be Josh's godfather, then that will make Aaron sort of his pseudo-godmother, right? :)

@coopersplains I can understand J doesn't want to be so affectionate right now, it's the lack of anything new happening... I get it, Jackson's depressed and it's winding people up.. nobody's doing anything
@southenglish Your comment is based on the fact that YOU ARE a quadriplegic living a FULL, PRODUCTIVE and SATISFYING LIFE?????????? Do share ;-) My cousin is and he's been that way for 20 years and there's nothing satisfying about it if that so said individual cannot MENTALLY deal with it. Some people can't and some can. But I don't believe that many would say their life is satisfying. Content maybe ;-)

is it just me or is jerry finally accepting jackson been gay and aaron and jackson been together? could be jsut me. but me god i love that scene with aaron and josh. so cute. :)
@patroclus33 if they had done it earlier i would have said exactly that but what i think there tryin to show is that aaron is growing up and getting more mature and plus it was super cute lol x
Does the writers have any plans of making Jackson walk again or is this going to end up like Nuke and Noah From ATWT and John Paul and Kieron in Hollyoaks?...Sheesh...

Just kidding. I thought they were cute too, but I also feel a little manipulated. Like they're balancing out the paralyzed depressive with a cute baby.
Since Jackson's depression & apparent asexuality are constant, next week will be clowns, & the week after that puppies.
Note to Emmerdale: Great acting is possible in a mostly upbeat story with love, sex & romance.
Jackson is a bit a prat today.
