Had it not been for the humans dropping a bomb on Godzilla then Godzilla would have dealt with Ghidorah when they fought in the ocean. The least the humans could have done was help him after making him so weak.
I was never all in with the monster verse being really mostly a kong fan but this was an awesome break down and essentially a DC parallel explaining the Trinity of the M-verse with Godzilla, Kong, and Mothra being the Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman of the monster verse keeping balance against the other monsters to protect the world 🔥.
Long live the king. Word of advice, if you're a newbie to the government system and don't want to see giant monsters wrecking your city, just do one simple thing... Let them fight.
Kong did not get the closest to winnings the most he did was knock Godzilla and himself out momentarily. Ghidorah literally staggered Godzilla and launched him from the stratosphere, had him on the ropes. Glad you at least got the placing right
That's what I'm saying. Godzilla was stated by the director and scriptwriter that he was playing around with kong until he was hit in the face with the axe. Aside from that, Godzilla used half his energy to drill a hole into hollow earth just to talk shit to kong.

As a long time Godzilla enthusiast since i was a kid and now in my 50s, id have to say G is still the numero uno and will continue for a long time, and if you go with Godzilla earth, hes it. The Godzillas are just too much and too powerful. Yeah he may get his butt beat every now and then, but so does Thor Hulk and Superman. The Godzillas are weaponized with other creatures hsving very few defenses for it. So many diffetent abilities that havent been put on screen yet. Im glad minus 1 is exploring his regenerative powers too. Ghidorah is his real rival but when G gets mad enough he will take him down.
yeah they gotta introduce other aliens more on the level of humans. Ghidora already proved there are aliens in this universe so why not more humanoid looking ones
They already did - Apex, and possibly the Skar King if the leaks are true, are the MV's adaptation of the Xiliens. And IMO, that's the way that it should be for the MV. If they literally introduced intelligent aliens who can control the monsters for themselves and who Ghidorah was nothing but a mere puppet to all along, it would completely undo ALL of the work that KotM did towards rerailing King Ghidorah's character, AND it would spoil the MV's "man does not control the laws of nature" themes. :P
I'm a big fan of the Japanese Godzilla movies (Minus One was INCREDIBLE) and I've really been enjoying Monarch : Legacy Of Monsters. King Of Monsters was great, the rest of the newer American ones were fine but nothing particularly special stood out to me. I'm hoping Monarch stays as good as it has been so far 🤞🏻

As for MechaG, the GvK director said that Godzilla did as poorly as he did in that fight because Godzilla was already drained from drilling to the Hollow Earth and then fighting Kong - the director said that if Godzilla had been at full strength when he fought MechaG 1v1, then the odds of Godzilla beating MechaG on his own would've been something like 60/40.
