Ticket can trash talk marz all want but once he hear marz agreeing with him or on his side in the debate the excitement in ticket voice is crazy 😂😂
I personally love ticket on this show but he’s usually on the wrong side of debates by himself, I’m sure it’s refreshing to have backup for once especially with the history marz & ticket have from Black Friday
The reason is obvious. Ticket knows he can't beat Marz in a debate so in the few instances where Marz agrees (even if he's trolling sometimes) naturally Ticket would get excited.
@@syzorst clearly the reason is obvious I never said I didn’t know the reason
@@syzorstthat is not the reason lol Z the reason is that it’s rare that they agree
@xlamb7460 While it's true that they rarely agree but the issue is even when Ticket can't tell the times when Marz be obviously trolling,(like he is in this clip) Ticket still gets excited when thinks Marz agrees with him.

@@MicroWave233 Even playing field? It wasn't even. That Bulls team without Jordan won 55 games and was 1 bad call away from being the knicks who went to the finals. Not many teams can lose their best player and still be that good unless their team is stacked.

The mavs and bulls had the same exact pace in luka’s and Jordan’s rookie years. Even if Jordan is only playing 32 minutes like luka did as a rookie, he’d be able to average a couple more points than luka who averaged 21.

Jordan led the league in total points in his rookie year. Yes a coach would allow Jordan take that many shots a game because Jordan was an exciting player who filled the stands. No NBA coach would limit MJ' minutes as he made the league far too much money due to his style of play. No coach back then wanted to give Jordan all of those minutes as a rookie, but they had no choice.
Okay lets say Rookie MJ played the same amount of minutes he played in 2022-23 AND kept the same usage he had in the rooke year to cater to your argument.
First we got to take into account PACE. 1984-85 had more possessions than the 2022-23 season. in the 1985 season the average PACE was 102.1. The average PACE in 2023 was 99.1. So immediately MJs numbers are going down.
Secondly, contrary to casual belifs, there were more shooting fouls called back then. 29.4 freethrows in 85 compared to 23.5 freethrows in 23. 33.1 FT rate in 85 compare to 26.6 FT rate in 23
Thirdly, back then the league was more focused on offensive rebounding sending more men to crash on the offensive glass over getting back in transition consequently leading to the faster Pace. A 32.9 offensive rebound percentage in 85 to a 24 offensive rebound percentage in 23. Obviously, more offensive rebounds = more possessions. Raw numbers are 14.3 offensive rebounds per game in 85 to 10.4 offensive rebounds per game in 23
FOurthly, players were sloppier with the ball back then resulting in way more turnovers. 17.3 turnovers per game in 85 to 14.1 per game in 23. More turnovers equals more transition opportunities equals easier buckets. This is also why u see many old players average 2 steals 3 steals per game but very rarely do you see over 2 nowadays.
Here are the raw numbers of field goal attempts and freethrow attempts and turnvovers in 85 compared to 23.
85 : 89.1 FGA per game and 29.4 FTA per game and 17.3 turnovers
23 : 88.3 FGA per game and 23.5 FTA per game and 14.1 turnovers
SO realistically, even IF Jordan was paying the same amount of minutes, having the same usage rate, all of this was allowed by his coach, the difference in pace, in freethrows being given, the difference in offensive rebounding and the difference in transition opportunities would likely result in Jordan having less FGA per game and less FTA per game and less easy baskets.
But after all that, Id say he wouldnt average 28 but hed probably average something like 25-26 but his scoring definetely would not INCREASE
@@Gabriel-sh3ms Bruuhhhh after all that fake analysis on this hypothetical situation...no one agrees with you. @@martelljhixson i forgot to mention that jordan also got to play in an era with illegal defense too if u want to add these unverifiable unproven caveats like the "stricter carrying and travel calls". i actually provided evidence of the refs calling more fouls for players back then and u just said some statement with no evidence to back up. try harder
@@Gabriel-sh3ms Found the person repeating LOW's LIES OF OMISSION. You keep mentioning LEAGUE PACE, but the 85 Bulls pace is identical to the average league pace TODAY. 92-93 35% 230 Att
95-96 42% 297 Att
96-97 37% 260 Att
I chose those seasons bekuz they're the only seasons MJ shot 230 or more 3's. So as you kan see, he hit them at decent klip when he shot them in abundance. He didn't shoot more than 100 3's in 9 of the full 14 seasons that he played. In his first 5 seasons he shot only 287, and that's bekuz it wasn't as intricate to the game then, as it is now. For his kareer he shot 33%, just under today's league average of 35%. MJ would've done just fine in this Era, so please kill the noise that he kouldnt shoot 3's.
Orlando let Paulo take those shots. Victor will likely get those shots. Ja essentially got those shots on Memphis. Same with Zion in NOLA.
Yes, there are coaches that will let a rookie MJ (a generational talent) go off in today's league and play high minutes.
exactly. How tf they think players make they mark as a rookie??? Riding the bench????
You’re right, but there’s a difference between letting a player get off and letting a rookie get the usage he’ll need to LEAD THE LEAGUE in scoring. He’d have to play as many minutes as star player (36 and up) while putting up 20 plus shots. Personally, I don’t see a reality where he doesn’t score 24 + PPG. But leading the league is where you lose me
@@randomguyonyoutube1954 a rookie Zion without injury concerns had the potential to lead the league in scoring.
In 04, Bron was averaging 39.5 PPG. That was in a time where rookies got no real looks at all. You're saying it's unrealistic for MJ to get at least 36 in a league where rookies have more free reign than in any other era? Paulo averaged 33.8 minutes this season. That's comparable to other star players in the league today. MJ would get star minutes.
Either way, he doesn't need to be 36+ minutes on 22 shots per game in this league to lead the league in scoring. Sure, he had to back then; however, just like everyone keeps saying, the league is different today. Joel led the league today on 20 FG attempts and 34 minutes played per game. In fact, Luka is the only player in the top 10 do scoring to take 22 shots this past season.
The lane is more open today and benefits MJ’s playstyle heavily. He’s very good at finishing around the rim and he drew a lot of fouls. Would he lead the league in scoring? Who knows, that really depends on how many 3s he takes.
But to act like it isn't a possibility is just asinine. MJ, with the hype he had coming out of college would've been getting 04 Lebron minutes and basically unlimited touches, especially if his team is as bad as it was in the 80s.
@@randomguyonyoutube1954 among the top 20 league leaders in scoring, the average was 33.4 MPG with 19.2 FG attempts per game.
If you want to go with the top 6 players (those who scored 30+ PPG) they played about 35.3 MPG and with 20.8 FG attempts.
Again, it wouldn't even take the metrics LOW gave to lead the league in scoring. Getting at least 35 minutes and 20 shots as a generational rookie is very much doable. Lebron played almost 40 MPG with 19 FG attempts as a rookie; straight from high school.
@@randomguyonyoutube1954 AI in 96/97 (another era where rookies got no love) was averaging 40 minutes per game on 20 shot attempts.

Y’all need to stick to discussing current players. Get some expertise on the current game. I’m not sure people can formulate accurate opinions on current players, no less players whose prime was 30 years ago.
I get what low is saying in today's game
Now Jordan average 38 mins a game his rookie season
But Luka was not electric like MJ.
I don’t think rookie MJ isn’t leading todays league in scoring. He’ll be on a bad team with not enough shooters, his handle wasn’t yet to be tight enough to handle traps without passing and his off ball moving and shooting wasn’t yet good enough to hit teams.
I get the they used to drop kick each other out the air, but defensive schemes are a lot better that they were in the 80s. A lot of it is built off of teams like the late 80s pistons and the 90s bulls and then expanded to involve other great defensive schemes used by great defences.
With the space you have to operate in todays league and teams scoring 110 plus points per game plus position less basketball and bigs playing away from the rim. Mj is definitely getting his for sure. Last thing mj was on bad team when he came in so your point holds no water.
@@GmacshowYou cooked Low.
@@theallknowingtreestump I always cook that fool
@@Gmacshow he’s not going to have access to that space coz he won’t have shooters, teams are also much better and defending in space and a young Jordan’s wouldn’t punish the zone like an older version of him would.
Teams scored 109 points in a game in the 80s (when I looked it up it said that it was 112 is MJ’s, but I wasn’t sure about it) rookie season and 113 is 2023, so I don’t think it’s gonna give MJ that much of a boost.
I don’t understand how a rookie MJ without high level ball handling or shooting is going to score more points in a better defensive era while he’ll probably also be playing less minutes than he did in the 80s.
All while having to outscore Greek Freak and Embiid who have better offences around them and are more polished than a rookie MJ could be.
They didn’t pick MJ at #1 overall because the 80’s was a center ran league back then. Low and the Indian dude need to stop the cap. Jordan would put up crazy numbers because this era is less focused on defense. Plus some of these NBA players today are lazy when it comes to defending.
