Curious about your thought process in the last hand
You folded 3s short to French because you suspect he calls everything, but after youre sitting on 3 start stacks, you jam 77. Were you expecting his call? Did you want a fold?
3s vs a range that usually doesn't fold always has 2 overcards. 77 I can be up against A2-A6s, 22-66, and am less likely to get counterfeit on two pair boards (TT44x 9966x etc). Also the value of doubling up from 25bb to 50bb is substantial when I'll be able to cover the entire table again.
Also we're talking about a 17bb sb vs button open range which is relatively uncapped, vs a BB squeeze jam range for 26bb vs HJ and SB, which is significantly stronger (77 is the worst pair I take or close to it) and has significant more fold equity.
