Sometimes things are too over the top. But, I really like how Miss Bacon is willing to dive in. She has a lovely voice. The smaller burger, though still huge, looked yummy.
The skill of the cook is so advanced. At first I was thinking he was separating patties that had stuck together, then I realised he was slicing them in half. So impressive.
@@hotcrazycatladyme168 Sure I can see they're not high quality patties, but I still probably couldn't slice a 7mm thick slice of bologna on a grill plate in half with a meat turner. And I certainly couldn't keep doing it all day among other short-order cook skills.

almost all the burger vendors here in malaysia split it open like that ! the meat cooks faster and it allows them to add a seasoning to it too.

Its common for burger stands in Malaysia to do that. You can try to do that and serve the burgers to your friends saying that's your invention 😄

My favorite part is when they dip for more sauce when we all damn well know it has plenty.
The smaller burger looked the best, the big one didn't look so tasty. A great video though, as always.
The meat looked well dodgy. Look at the girl at the end when she takes a bite. Not the usual big grin. Also look back when they were being cooked. They looked grey. Something about that meat seemed either old and off or comes from a very dubious animal. I would not go anywhere near it.

Unfortunately street burgers in Malaysia don't taste anything like burgers, this is because the patties they use have a lot of filler (soy, starch) , even with all the spices and condiments they can't hide off taste and mushy texture and yes the taste is consistent from one burger stall to the other. Malaysia does have some great food but don't get them from stalls, it's cheap for a reason.

Though not Malaysian, lived and worked in Malaysia for about 4 years as a telecom contractor, I understand these street burgers have nostalgia value for Malaysians who ate them since childhood but for westerners who are use to real beef patties they taste unpleasant to say the least. Also the comment was not meant for a Malaysian but a non Malaysian thinking of going to the country as a tourist, just told them not to get their hopes up in terms of taste, you made this whole thing into a social political argument for some reason.
I love how happy the girl always is, like whatever she is eating is the best thing she ever tasted :)

I’m very impressed - those patty-slicing skills are amazing (I would have ended up with hash and probably burned fingers if I’d tried that), and they’re so generous with everything and charge so little. I have to admit, though - I couldn’t eat a bite of either of those. I usually just get a plain patty, a little salt, maybe a little pepper, and a bit of ketchup - I don’t even like cheese on mine, and often not even a bun. I also can’t stand a dry patty, and it seems like they would get dry split open like that. I hope you really enjoyed them, though, and I really liked the video :)
