The ECON button adjusts the vehicle’s systems to save fuel. When it’s on the car will reduce its throttle, shifting less often. It turns the AC on and off more frequently instead of running longer. Supposedly, it will get you 2more miles to the gallon when using. If you need the AC immediately shut the ECON off before starting the car. It really does more than I have listed but you get the idea.
So glad you are in a position to purchase a safer and more reliable vehicle. If anyone deserves it…it’s you Kelly!!! Now, you can go on vacation and feel safe getting there. 🦋🚙

Kelly, I still have my 2006 Odyssey, over 200k miles. I LOVE it!! It's a work horse, 3 kids through skating travel events, vacations, moving them in and out of college dorms and apartments etc. My daughter and her husband bought a 2021 Odyssey when their first child was born. I can't say enough about how great it is. Congratulations!!
I wish they made cars like they use to. Just be careful sales people will sale to get their money. And watch what you pay if it takes 3 to 5 years pay off will it be worth the money. Just comes from experience

I have a 2011 with 175k and it has been great. Only problem has been the AC going out and one minor part needing changed out.

You should have a walk away auto lock. It’s freaking awesome! You set it up through the screen. You basically never need to have your key out as long as it’s with you.

My 2014 Honda odyssey was the best car I ever had. My kids loved it on trips. The van was a rockstar in the snow. When we became empty nesters we traded it in. No mechanical problems at all. Enjoy !!!

You couldn't of chosen a better vehicle. My brother has 4kids all under 7 (2 are one yr old twins) and they just traded in there SUV for the Honda Odyssey & they L❤VE It!!! Her favorite feature is the side out seats & the sliding doors of course. Now y'all need to go on a trip & enjoy the van👍

🦋 congratulations on the new car. I remember the feeling when I got my van few years ago. I held on to my vue for 15 yrs but I could tell it was getting ready to die. Plus I had 3 kids crammed in the back. Plus a stroller and then my daughter’s wheelchair and just wasn’t enough room.I got my van and loved it bc my daughters wheelchair and sons stroller fit great. I gave my dad my vue to drive around here and there when he didn’t want to drive his new mustang. But the vue lasted 2 months and it completely died. So was good timing when I got my van.

I hate when the dealer gets in the drivers seat to show you everything. They should let you sit in the drivers seat so you can see things how you would if your driving. I love that the center seat comes out, and so easy! Im a chevy girl and drive a Suburban but that is a nice van.

If you didn't finance through your bank keep an eye out on the rates then switch to your bank if they have better rates. I did this my first vehicle purchase.

Congrats on the van! I’m in basically the opposite situation 😂 I just sold my old Odyssey (with 184k miles) that I bought when my 3rd was a baby. Now that my kids are older, I moved to a Toyota Highlander hybrid, and I love it! I do miss all those family features like all the cupholders and storage compartments. (A gallon of milk fits perfectly in those trunk compartments on the sides!) You will love that van, I know I loved mine!! Do look out for paint issues down the road, mine was also white and peeled badly on the roof. Still a great ride though!

Congratulations. Love honda products. We bought our civic brand new in 2012 and it ran up until a person ran a red light amd hit it. The safety features did a wonderful job and my husband did get whip lash but that was due to me not have the head rest on properly. This vehicle Wil last you a long time. Econ gets you better fuel mileage.

I love that the middle seats can slide over! I am a mini van lover. I have a Toyota Sienna with over 150,000 miles so I’m just gonna keep driving her until the wheels fall off. Then maybe I’ll get a Honda next! People don’t realize how great minivans really are! 😂

Good for you!!! I was getting to do SUV shopping myself...I have a 2010 Corolla I've had for 14 years & it's fine, but wanted to upgrade. I called my insurance company & my premium would go from $870 for the year to over $3,000!!! I'm in GA too, have no accidents or tickets!! 🙄 That's crazy...guess I will keep my Corolla 😂 Good luck with your new ride...it's beautiful & safe! 😊🦋
Wow! I’m glad you called to check on that first. I too did the same thing. My mom works in insurance and they have people all the time walking in with new vehicles trying to get insurance and then they are floored with the price. It’s always good to check insurance first. 😃

He also owned BMW's until he passed away. The 2nd BMW started belonging to my brother as he drove it from Georgia to Virginia. Besides those cars, I've ridden in a mid-'70s Pontiac Grand Prix and "1983, 1991 & 1998" Honda Accords. I still occasionally ride in a 2001 Mercedes-Benz. The 1998 Honda car is still in my driveway.

I had a 09 ford focusas my first car i paid for. I loved that car so much but with being in WI in winter it was not the best when it snowed hard. I had it fora good 10 years though with no troubles. Now i upgraded to a 2017 ford escape with all the bells and whistles. I love driving a suv and having space but some days i do miss my nice little car. 🦋🦋
That’s exactly what my mom did. Her focus was a 2007… she drove it for 14 years. Within the last year she upgraded to the 2017 ford escape. Her focus is still going it just doesn’t have ac 😅

You go girl you deserve it! I’m a Honda girl to I drive a 2020 Honda civic. The Econ mode is for better gas mileage! I get 450 miles per tank 40 miles per gallon. I love my car! Yours is beautiful it’s my dream to have a oddassy one day but I’m a stay at home mom and don’t want to increase my payments right now and just wanna pay my civic off and save it bc they are such good cars!
