Сегодня поставил себе. Пока очень доволен. Купил у твоего продавца. Вопрос: как обновить его и где прошивку брать? Может ты обновлял? И не понял как запустить ютюб чтоб видео смотреть.. вроде через какое-то зеркало можно? Так же и в сафари можно заходить как я понял
Привет. Я прошивку брал у продавца.
UA-cam только через screen mirroring. По-моему чтоб туда зайти надо отсоединить CarPlay.
@@schurikde да, разобрался. Все ок но вчера ехал в другой город, телефон был по без проводу подключён и запущен кар плей. Через час езды начало выскакивать ошибка… can question please check as following
1 can cable connection.
2. Dial switch и тд.
Вообще ехал ехал, заметил что талевое сел, 5% оставалось. Подключил его к зарядке, проблема пропала. Продавец тот же что у тебя, сказал сменить подключения кабелей, типо не правильно подключено. Но как до этого все работало… и сегодня детей в школу отвозил, тоже все ок…
@@ubntshop такой ошибки я не разу не видел. У тебя CIC без фильтров и эмуляторов?
@@schurikde да, оригинальный циц. Только ещё combox telematic если, дооснащение делал. По началу в сервисе когда подключили все, джойстик не работал. Пока механик курил все заработало само, может какая адаптация была.
Опять вылезла это ошибка. Появляется на секунду кар плей и пропадает и там надпись что я писал выше. Продавец дал два варианта подключения пинов :WAY 1
Low CAN
#C : idrive CAN connect to-#A : Carplay low CAN
#B : Head unit CAN connect to-#D :Reconnect original car's Can
# L : Carplay high CAN-keep alone
WAY 2
don't use Idrive cable
#A : Carplay low CAN-#B : Head unit CAN
L ,C,D don't need connect
Поеду скоро в сервис, оставлю машину, переделают. Отпишу как будет результат.
Do you need to run an aux cable back to the input in the center console so apps like Spotify in CarPlay work thru speakers?
Yes
Does it work with controls on steering wheel? Volume, next, previous track etc? Also, can it play video files from usb? With subtitles?
control from steering wheel = yes
play video from USB = yes
with subtitles = don't know (did not try it yet)
Did you have any issues with the IDrive not being recognized or not working?
If you mean the controler, yes. Carplay box sometimes reboot itself and will work again after that.

Original Kamera funktioniert.
Carplay geht auch schnurlos / wireless.

How did you connect the idrive functionality? Don't you need to open the center panel?
It's connected through CAN bus at the backside of the CIC headunit.
superplus dont you have to remove the entire arm rest portion/where the knob is to access that? And to connect it to the canbus?

superplus what did you do with the canbus wires? You left it alone?

superplus can you please explain how did you manage to put everything there? I tried today, but couldn’t figure out how, because it didn’t fit behind or on the CIC block, so I disconnected it🤦♂️ Also how did you connect the OEM mic, because mine didn’t work in Carplay mode.
@@kirkas90 i placed it in front of the big aircondition box from drivers footwell side. take a closer look on the photo above. i did not connect the oem mic. i use the one, that was in the package. it is working good.

Hi. You mean the original BMW bluetooth module or the carplay integrated bluetooth? Carplay box has it's own bluetooth and WiFi.

@@ionutpuiu1 You will need working aux in. You can connect aux directly to headunit if your aux is not working. pin30=AUX_L pin35=AUX_R pin36=AUX_GND

@@schurikde there is an hard drive inside the car entertainment and map system. I just realize that these kits come with at least 32gb of flash storage, so the hard drive is not necessary anymore.
@@sebastiantevel898 You want to take out the HDD from cic? For what reason? Cic won’t work without a HDD.
@@schurikde Thank you for clarifying this, It was the exact information I wanted to know.
These cars are 12 years old and that HDD is due to fail soon, on some cars it has already failed. So, if I have to keep it on, I will clone it and replace it with a PATA SSD drive.

Ja. Es funktioniert genauso wie ohne CarPlay Modul.

@@D.M.N. Я хотел оставить оригинальный дисплей. Он матовый и автоматически подстраивает яркость подсветки.

Sometimes reboots itself. Blackscreen for 10 - 15 seconds. But for that price the usability is very good.
