Wow. Looks to me like an ecu, Yoshimura pipe and rekluse torquedrive clutch kit and it’s good to go racing. These Suzuki’s are good, bullet proof bikes

I'm glad to see you are having so much fun on this rmz, so many people are shitting on them because they aren't doing well in the shoot outs and their lack of electric start but I really like this bike and after watching your videos I am considering buying one.

I like the bike, runs really good and turns even better, once the suspension got some tuning from Racetech I have nothing to complain about. Does not have button, but starts easy hot or cold.. love it!

So how much do these mods cost? There is a dealer in Decator, Tx. selling 2024 RMZ250 for $6295 might be worth the investment!

Hey i have a 2017 yz250f that came with a vortex ignition on it. Do you have any clicker settings on these for a guy who likes to ride in the lower rpm with a lot of bottom end grunt? I’m having a hard time finding settings for the vortex and I’m sure you’ve played a lot with them. My bike has full fmf ti exhaust, twin air filter kit with backfire screen removed, cycra powerflow shrouds, pc springs, rekluse torque drive and running 94 pump gas

Great video brother. Looks like you have the rmz working good. Keep doing what you are looks like you are getting faster. I heard a 500 two stroke pull up beside jay. Should have took that thing for rip! Merry Christmas and let's get cracking on that yz.

What specific settings did you use in each of the four positions? I am trying to get my rmz450 to be more snappy out of the low end to the mid range. Mine is set (when I got it) on best overall power setting on Low5 Mid5 Top5. It has a full Tokyo w Yosh. Would like a good hard packed high desert setting.

He got it mapped by Twisted, so I think the knobs are irrelevant. They do it in software and upload it.

Mate I love ya work, but I could give you a few more seconds with better lines and better cornering technique entry and exit, speed in speed out.
You have a tendency imo to rely far to much on power! a common issue with people who start late and start out of big bore bikes, I even see pros do this it frustrates the hell out of me lol, sorry bud, ya know I love ya like a brother from another mother 👻💪🤙
Hope you and the family had or are having an awesome Xmas dude🔥🥳

Mate watch this video if you don’t follow this channel do.
      ua-cam.com/video/LXaANOfJ2Vg/v-deo.html
Now I been saying what Nev says for years to anyone that will listen, lol, few do, he’s raced pro in UK in Europe on 4t allot of his career!
We refer to it as Blue groove syndrome, typical of a 4t rider esp no pros, but pros are bad for it as well, 2strokes forever line choices and imo tech tech quite far better, less throttle cowboys and more throttle top guns to get the best out of, lines are limited only by the imagination on a 2t.
But watch and listen to the whole vid you might get where I’m coming from all the time, re power re type of style and riding development🤙
Drill for skill, cruise to lose! what she said, quality over quantity! happy trails bro🤙

      @maverick2242 5 років тому

      Dirt N Iron lol ok
      Tips
1: You need to unlearn what you have learned.
-eg you don’t know what you don’t know, so bad habits develop.
      Define your weakness’s!
-so line choice and cornering! 2 things
-seperate out, develops drill for each or find someone who can, Jay or look up some old Gary Bailey books or videos! (David Bailey’s dad).
Yes this is all part of tip 1
Tip 2 focus on one thing to improve at a time and break that down. eg cornering.
Drill - figure of 8, do both ways until you can go into and out of each corner as fast as possible, work on one side at a time, rotate and work hardest on your weak side.
If using a corner on a track at home for example just work on that one corner not the hole track, you must break down every aspect to its basic point before you add in each other component, think of it like building a bike, cornering might be the swing arm, you are focusing just on that one aspect cleaning, buffing to new, and each component of the bike is like each part section if the track you must clean it, inspect repair polish etc before you can put all the parts back together again. same with improvement to riding. Remember it’s go to be fun so every ride shouldn’t be about drills, but should be conscious in the mind, why you do drills so it’s automatic, but quality is better than quantity, eg if you practice wrong you ride or race wrong, right technique right drill, breaking ti down is what assists this, get Jay or someone show proper technique if unsure, re body position.
3: This prob be number 1-
always look as far ahead as possible this will aid line selection and corner technique and if shit goes wrong with other riders on the track. sounds easy, people do this on a straight but in a corner head is down, you need to learn this throughout the track it’s will make you faster but importantly safer, trust no one on the track, it’s always a race even when not racing, by that I mean anything can happen when you lest expect it.
      Free tip track time!
      Biggest mistake!
this is another common issue I see at the track, doesn’t matter how often you have been to a track, say Cailhua did I spell that right? prob not!
First few laps just take easy without being in the way, check out the blue groove, main muppet line (lol) look for alternative lines and look at the corners, condition, where traction is, where you can carry speed, bail out lines to get around others etc, try different lines eg wide stay outside rail right around the berm, same inside, do that stuff while warming up, take the time to be able to get a mental map of the track as it is that day before you hit the need for speed button! Then go ballistic, also measure, get a lap timer bar one and keep some notes for those days you are trying to make improvements, if you can’t measure you can’t accurately gauge what’s working improving.
You know my thoughts on HP, with great power comes great responsibility 👻
Hope this makes sense and helps dude, remember we always are learning, even the best always learn, why the sport is bigger than all of us and so great👍

Dirt N Iron Looking good man👍Best way to improve is to go out and focus on improving. Focus on gripping the bike elbows up etc go out and chuck 12min motor to start with. I’ve just started focus more on technique. Going to the track and focusing on this. Helps a lot
