This was an awesome video. Taking 8 non-elite player guys, and throwing them into a 4v4 across a smaller map and the utter chaos that results is just pure entertainment. I loved seeing the minimap during the first half, just multiple action points erupting all across it, it felt like an actual battle going on rather than just elite skirmishing.
@@gnffjfuuducnvshbg Nah, there's all kinds of strategies from the pro players in team games. I think this game was more chaotic simply due to the small map size.
Mothership shenanigans got me thinking: what would happen if the mothership destroyed the last building for both teams at the same time? Have the catalyst cannon shoot a building, say a power plant, and have the last power plant for each side nearby so they get destroyed at the same time by the chain reaction. Who wins?
Some one need to test this but i know a little bit of how they prioritize player when making game it usually the player who connect to the gme first that get priority
Idk about multiplayer but i remember playing in a custom map where every players base was close to others and i tried to use mother ship got a defeat screen but there was nothing left on the map.
@@Rat_Fบcker I just tried it on a skirmish versus AI. I got the enemy down to 1 power plant, built two power plants next to it, summoned the mothership, sold everything but the two power plants, and blasted the one in the middle (my power plant on one side, the opponent on the other). All three were within the initial blast of the catalyst cannon, so they all exploded at once. It said "Enemy defeated" but then "you are defeated," with the busted scrin logo.
@@Rat_Fบcker two skulls on the graphs lol. so by the stats, it seems to account it as a tie. In a PVP game, I wonder if it would tell both players they lost?
Oh this game was certainly tiring to play. Everyone played their part and eventually we all had fun 😂 Side note: I made several, more than 7 Firehawk plays that game, the action was so intense that it might've slipped the cast!
MoK is such a powerful faction in team games. Everyone techs up very quickly, so their weaker scorps and lack of flame tanks is less felt. Meanwhile, having both stealth redeemers and easily accessible awakened seem really useful, with the particle beam venoms as a bonus.
@@lmabacus404 That sounds amazing, I'd love to watch the match. Do you remember the name of it maybe? @Gwaspari I don't know how you pulled that off in this match, but holy shit it was shocking, nice one :D
4:50 I think GB6001 got away much better from that attack than the others. Since he didn't have anything there besides a single empty harvester his losses are negligible. The others however loose a bit more. Edit. Graspari lost 2 loaded Harvesters.
Hi Just wondering if you would consider doing Dune 2000 or Emperor battle for dune online battle ? That although is not in CNC name is still an Rts by Westwood
GameSpy servers were shut down many years ago (I believe console versions just went offline) but it was replaced with a community run alternative: cnc-online.net/en/
Spoiler? Didnt really look carefully at the thumbnail so I really thought the only scrin player left would be the one to pull off some sort of catalyst cannon comeback but nope, the scrin essentially got a taste of their own medicine.
Never was a fan of open/even maps. Without any mountains or sea/rivers i think it all has certainly no strategic depth. This match (as entertaining as it might be) is a clear evidence for that.
I am inclined to agree. Half the reason I don't really feel like getting back into C&C3 is how open the maps are. I would love more enclosed maps (and less powerful one clicks probably too - some of them are just a little bit much).
That's where you're wrong. The strategy comes from how well you can micro your units around the map instead of who can flank who with more units. It also shows who can manage resources better.
@@aasgier9091 There are less open maps like Tournament Decision and Mountain Pass. I imagine the bigger issue is that most players prefer open maps. Many more avenues of attack available, without getting bogged down with chokepoints. From what I've seen across KW, ZH and Gen Evo, the more natural barriers there are, the more likely the game devolves into lengthy stalemates.

I agree. Pro games is just the same practiced routine over and over again with little to no experimentation or fun.

Ayo I just discovered this channel, this game brings memories haha
that stasis shield at 7:16 was huge
Cern: You fought gloriously. Your soul will find its way to the halls of your fathers. Your place in Valhalla is well earned :)
Emping a mothership, not seen that before!
Gwaspari on point
Wow, I forgot about that game, was played long time ago, If i remember still on r18
But thanks for uploading it tho, hope to see more

About to watch this vid and looked at the thumbnail. Are we gonna have us some fun with a certified GWASPARI HOOD classic one more time? 😆
Still remember the time in that 2v2v2 when he single-handedly defeated three other players including Bike with that mothership.
@@lmabacus404 I'm pretty sure that was the first video of Sybert's I ever watched.

Did Sybert change his mic/audio setup in some way? His audio sounds different, maybe better than usual even.
25:23 Heartbreak right here.
It was such a bitch move...
Yo Eclipse wtf man, you spam mutants and leave the game? Commit to the memes!
Man if Cern couldve pulled off that dope Mothership save at the end, it wouldve been legendary.

I knew who the winner was pretty early on in the match... About 5 minutes in or so.
Is there a bug with the mothership in one vision 0.95 because it wont fire

Never really played them. If I was going to add something to my casting roster it'd probably be SC2 as I really enjoy watching SC2.
Groovy
During the intro you said...Green Scrin......AAAAA
