I had to teach my husband a lot when we had our first kid. He had that "men don't do such" mentality.....however I do think what made him teachable was that he was open and willing to change his mind and change his ways

It's in the willingness to assist where possible, given old traditional norms nolonger apply as much in the fast changing capitalist world we live in.

God doesn't ALWAYS come through for us in the way WE WANT it. Trust Him He knows best. In hindsight You'll see how He was in control of His plan for ALL of our lives according to His Plan. Life as a Christian is based on faith. Even if Hod allows our choice/s to Divorce He feels that pain with you, coz He hates the psinful effects that go with a divorce. Chances are that many yikes we chose to marry someone we should never have married. We make bad choices then expect God to perform miracles, yet because He loves us He wants to protect us and our kids from more 💔 and trauma

I don’t think it’s practical to teach an old grown up man to be hands on 🥹🥹 not even around the house. I feel like they must want and it should flow natural because they desire to be hands on maan.

The problem with people interviewing their friends is we the viewers don't get the essence of the issues. What led to the divorce, the missed lessons etc . But good channel ! These are important conversations

Thank you and I appreciate your feedback 🤍I will focus more on the lessons as well . We won’t be delving much on what happened but rather on how the person is doing in the In between. If my guests are comfortable to share what happened they will share and we will talk about it. This is one of the hardest journeys one undergoes and we respect and celebrate the little that’s shared.

This was lovely! Thanks for keeping it real e.g. the angry phase, the “we don’t talk about him in this house” phase lol, and just healing and learning to trust hearing Gods voice again💜 I feel seen, this was a lovely watch..

I understood my husband's behavior once I went to his home and met his mom. His dad never did anything except bring the money and his mom did everything else. She also to this day doesn't expect the boys to do anything in the house, the sisters and wives must pick up after them (which I refused). I also grew up in a similar setting but wanted something different post convos with my mom on her experience. We had to come together, unlearn and relearn how we want our home to look like. We got a helper for house duties coz we both too tired to do the chores and we help each other with our daughter. Our goal is that our daughter should have two people she can fully rely on in all aspects including emotionally instead of one like we did with our parents. Great Convo.

I always say that I'd rather be a single mom than a married single mom. I am a single mom, since day 1. It's tough but i have great family support. I honestly respect you gorgeous ladies for being able to share your journeys with us and your bravery for being able to walk away with your sanity intact. My aunt was a single married mom for 20 years, wanted to walk away at many many intervals but didn't. She officially walked away last year, and i am just as proud of her as well! She said she realised that her 20 year old daughter was going to end up in the same cycle if she didn't leave, because my her mother (my grandmother) had also a single married mom.

I am blessed to watch this conversation. I can relate so well with the anger and the pain of staying when I knew better and should’ve left the relationship long before.
But when our children are involved even though the father is not showing up as the father he should, we still think it’s our responsibility to try with every bit of what we got to make it right for our children.
We finally find peace knowing that this is who he is and it’s okay to move on without them.
It’s better to be a single parent on your own than being in a relationship with a father who doesn’t care and is so comfortable not showing up for his children.

Aaah man healing is like a circle the journey continues 😊 well some days the reality dawn's on you and you feel overwhelmed but it's how we come out that determines our wellbeing❤ It's the 3rd year and I can safely say my boys are I are navigating through this journey thanks to therapy because it sort of painted a picture that we are in this emotional change together it has brought us closer and they are very protective I sometimes wonder how will it work should I decide to date again 😅 Through this phase I took a break from church knowing just how spiteful they can be. I prioritised the well being of my boys and my mental health because personally and professionally I had to step up.. I refused to raise up broken boys therefore I will forever put in extra work just to ensure my boys upbringing is peaceful with wonderful memories ❤❤❤❤ You gained a subbie thanks ladies for such sharing your personal space 🤍🤍🤍

I honestly thought the very same thing. These ladies are beautiful in multifaceted ways. They have a rare combination of gorgeous looks, beautiful hearts and incredible minds.
      It's explained in Matthew 7 verse 6.
It's like giving money to a beggar. In no time he'll be wanting again. But, if you give the same money to a businessman he'll appreciate it's worth and increase it's value.
They likely gave themselves to men who didn't or couldn't see their worth, unfortunately.
I'm so glad to see that they are moving forward positively ❤

It would have helped if the relationship red flags were discussed to create a more meaningful and open conversation.
    What were the issues
    What was the impact
    How long was the process
This could help to provide a better insight into the realities of a divorce. Some marriages fall apart not because couples no longer love each other, however there could be situations that are irretrievable.

I'm sorry you feel that way❤ the thing about having the courage to share even parts of your story won't always be easy. Also we answer questions that are being asked. The topic for the conversation was called "the inbetween" life after divorce...
Let's be sensitive in thinking we are entitled to know people's stories. When God says it's time and given another opportunity or platform I will share what needs to shared then. Until then allow God to bless you anyhow. He sees fit with the uploaded video.
Thank you for watching and be blessed.

1Cor10v13 at the end beautiful ladies says He makes a way so that we can endure in the trial not to come of it. We come out of trials perfected eg patient enough. So continue trusting God. Remember if you cast God out, the devil has won you. So no matter how much fire the devil heats it up, you trust God do not bow down to the devil. Even if God doesn't come through for you, believe in His promises more. If you perish choose to perish trusting God by the end of it all, we must be in God's kingdom, not Satan's hell. We just need to know God and who we are, and the power or dominion that He gave us.

That's what the enemy wants. People to doubt God who instutedthe 1st marriage 💑 based on free wills. When hoping through the divorce trauma your mind is so badly affected that you cannot hear or understand things clearly. You feel like your whole life is messed up. So it's really hard to hear God speaking to us, but He reveals things so that we make the right choices according to His holy Word ❤

Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God is not like that....he allows you to go through certain situations so you can learn certain things. Ask for discernment what was the lesson as he propels you to your destiny. If you have not learnt unfortunately it will come stronger next time.

But there in lies the beauty of God. As we walk out this unknown land, in the dark, we fumble at times, but He is right there. And yes for some 🙋🏾‍♀️ it takes a few longer roads for us to 'learn the lesson' , but we do with God never leaving our side or judging us for not 'learing the lesson' the 1st time. ❤
