My thoughts exactly. These people don't want you to see the cramped crew quarters or the inaccessible engines which are probably the most important items on a yacht for long distance cruising. Plus...stainless steel everywhere. A 24/7 job just keeping it clean and shiny. Just waiting for the crew to mutiny a few weeks into the voyage.

And the 'beach club' consists of a small row of kitchen cabinets. That big reveal made me chuckle.
Yup "Beach club", term has been used very loosely in this case.
Also had a stairway down, which much like the crew quarters and engine room, we don't get to see. This is the problem when salesmen show the boat - they love to show off the lounges, etc, and skip over the mechanical areas... and besides, where the hell are this dude's eyebrows?

I was like wow it opens up to a wall
One of the most defining details of a motor yacht is the flooring...like in teak wood. One of the details that put me off a boat is the exposure of WHITE fibreglass. On this boat you will see acres of it as flooring on the fly deck. It's like sitting in your bath. For me, to spend up and over 3million cisterces is DETAIL, DETAIL, DETAIL. As soon as i see a white hull, i turn around and go back.
Take a tip from Aquaholic and film the entire vessel, engine room and crew quarters. Also do it without a presenter getting in the way, it's not a game show.

The third person format can actually be pretty helpful for picking up the scale a little better. Agreed, though, regarding crew and engineering spaces.
agree......dont need a person to dance around in front of you. Great yacht ,but poor representation....
Actually with this level of video quality and audio, this channel has improved a ton since i complained awhile back. Keep this up and incl having a thumbnail showing the entire boat = this will be quite a gem of a channel. (Yea, if you are able to record and show us around on your own, that would be a bit better).

After watching this video, I was getting a bit dizzy with all the fast panning and shaky cam effect. Also, the presentation was a bit dry. People are correct, AQUAHOLIC does a very good job of it while making it look so easy. He's also more informative about the spec. and other aspects of a boat. He should give lessons.
Love this type of layout. No Capt's helm on the main deck is awesome. Closed in bridge above is also awesome. Makes it feel bigger overall..
That is the most interior space in a boat that length I've seen, both up and down. Really nice boat design and amenities.

Great yacht if you are your own captain I'd prefer a closed in captains helm cant wait for Nick to do a walk threw.
I love almost everything about this beautiful yacht. My only concern was at the beginning showing the "beach party" lift. Talk about little to no storage....... felt it was somewhat useless other than to put a built in buffet table there, otherwise it is useless. Would it prevent me from buying it?, no i probably would do something different with it though. Still 99% gorgeous yacht !
I'm a new fan of Ocean Alexander. I love the size but there is no room for toys and you didn't show us the engine room and crew quarters. Their comfort is important to the owners' happiness.

It is a beautiful boat. I like most, would appreciate a view of crew quarters and engine room, but it is a fine boat indeed.

I thought the purpose of cedar closets is to prevent moths. But moths are presumably not going to be a problem in a closet which is not in permanent use.

Hmm i loved it ,i really liked the open galley .i think some of the fixtures in the bathroom and the granite were not fantastic. It needed a little European flair ,for sure the interior designer was an American company. They did a very nice job but it wasnt wow to me ,it seemed very familiar like marc Michaels in s Florida .but im nitpicking as its beautiful.

I seen this on a magazine and reminds me of a cruise ship. I like the dance floor on the cruise ship only so the back of it looks like it. I like the name too, like Alexander the Great. Jeje. Thanks, but I don't like tinted windows. Definitely looking up to someone for an invitation. 🙂

Ребята у меня вся трёхкомнатная квартира в Москве размером с машинное отделение этого "космического" корабля и стоит она как один двигатель. Но это не точно, двигатель может быть и дороже).
А если серьёзно, то вещь просто фантастически прекрасная! Те люди кто имеет нечто подобное живут на другой планете. Это планета на которой жители счастливы и получают удовольствие от каждого момента своей жизни. Там прекрасный климат и красивая природа. И ты можешь плыть в комфорте куда тебе угодно и жить с удовольствием.
Главное, чтобы деньги на которые куплена эта яхта и на которые оплачивается жизнь на ней были получены честно.

But I have a question. Now this is coming from a guy who has never spent any time on a luxury boat, let alone a yacht. But it always seems to me like there is just to much closet space.... I mean I have spent up to 14 days straight in Hawaii and took no more than a duffel bag of clothes and 2 suite 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Swim platform needs stairs in both directions, to get out of the water and to get on to the dock... hydraulic door is way to slow;... LOVE the Rain Shower!! no biggie but the aft deck controls should be hidden... maybe I missed it but no TV in the Salon area?? would have been go to have one... Master is nice but get rid of the Frosted Shower... my guy wants to see me~...also would like to see not just the rain can but spraying from 3 directions celling and both walls.... Love the Cedar Closet... 2nd deck LOVE the Thrusters on the arm rest... the Grill is Wonderful, I hope it's gas... the jacuzzi looks a bit small.. if you're going to put in a jacuzzi make it worth it! would of liked to have fold down sides to extend the beam of the yacht... thats just my thoughts... smile~

Not sure about the cedar but everything else was very elegant in a very pleasing layout. Hard to fault this yacht. Maybe the price :)
I like that the helm doesn't take a lot of space on the main deck. One possibility would be to make the helm a very small standing corner position with just one screen and a small joystick/wheel. It doesn't take much. I'm personally not a fan of huge helm chairs and a large bridge style setup and I think effortless power might appeal to this clientele. Or better yet, voice command to an AI captain fully able to pilot the ship from berth to berth.
This boat is game changer I have not seen such a sensible flowing use of space there is not in other 84footer compares with this new offering it has the features you only find on 100 footers loved the interior treatments not to much white really classy with with well chosen high end materials for contrast would have liked to see the engine room and crew space.you should do really well at the show with this boat all the best and thanks for the walk-through thoroughly enjoyed it
Siento que para lo que cuesta un juguetito de estos , los diseñadores les falta mucha imaginacion, ya casi todos los espacios , son "lugares para sentarse" , es decir tienes un yate de 30mts. Y lo unico que puedes hacer es disfrutar de sillones y sillas por todos lados?

What a beautiful boat - again by OA. My question: why make two models with just 6' of difference between them...? the OA 90R does have the two navigation areas, but still I wonder why a boat builder would not make two models with enough difference between them to, say, add another stateroom or something like that?
I notice there is no "day head" on the main level or the sky lounge. I do like the fully open main level tho - moving the owners bedroom downstairs did open that space up fully. I wonder how much that second lounge area will be used. There are so many seating areas, but less people hosted on the boat...…….
