I actually work at the MTC in Allen, TX and pretty much my entire salary goes right back into the store. Thanks Duder for showing us off. We are definitely the best place to get some of these Boutique Labels in store.
We have that store here in Missouri but it's called Vintage Stock and its way smaller. But it's still the same sticker set up and has the same mystery bundles.
That's the MTC where I buy a large chunk of my films. There's also a huge Half Price Books around the corner that has a large selection of movies at good prices. If you're going to be in this area for a week, then I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Happy hunting!
Wow I wish we had that store here where I am in New Jersey. Scream factory collectors editions for $20 to $22 bucks. I get mine from FYE and amazon and they’re always $25 to $30. I must go there lol. Cool video Shawn
Very cool. I just came across the 25th anniversary dvd of Cujo with the plastic slipcover for $3.00. Also won a prize box from my local comic shop and had a holy shit moment. That box not only had a Harley Quinn funko it also had the DC Collectibles statue which was priced at $80.
the movie you pointed out was a Aussie pressing due to the plastered classification on the left bottom corner. Lifeline book/cd fair I pick up Disney's Robin Hood and Toy Story: That time forgot blu rays. Each Aust$3 each
Is this the Fort Worth or Arlington location? I am from the area originally and really like visiting the Movie Trading Company when I am visiting family. It reminds me of old blockbuster video filled with things to buy.
Movie trading company is part of the vintage stock family a big chain of entertainment stores in the Midwest. They are a really cool store. Here in my area we have vintage stock and entertain mart.
Thanks to your video I found out there was an EntertainMart location close by in a mall that's apparently been open for a year and a half! I stopped going in that mall after the FYE closed years ago. I don't remember seeing any kind of sign or advertisement for it.
Where i live, there a video store that is exactly like the one you went to. They use the same stickers for new and used films, but for those you cant rent them. They also sell CD's, and video games, and the store is called Vintage Stock and it is in a mall.
coolduder hey Shawn, great video. When I lived near there, I would pop in every Saturday or Sunday and pick up one or two things. Unfortunately I moved further away but when I’m near there, I definitely stop by every time.
@@coolduder They were actually really good sound, I also used to exchange pirated cds on them with a couple of friends before cd burners and napster became a thing. Damn I'm old.
You're right there's nothing like that video store in San Diego anymore:( I remember Ken Video and that video store by the Sports Arena I've forgotten the name of it:( You should have gotten a grab bag😀
MTC was a killer store. I used to walk out with bags of stuff. They had such a wide selection. Awesome clearance sections. Found lots of rare gems. Then Blockbuster bought them and the store become a dumping ground for their seemingly endless duplicate stock. Same titles over and over. All of the offbeat titles disappeared. This went on for some years but they're better now but I don't go there much due to the smell of burning plastic from the shrink wrap machine. It gives me a headache and sore throat. I asked an employee about it and he said it didn't bother him. As for rare VHS, notably big box horror, I haven't found one of significance there in over 10 years.
This location looks amazing! Thank You so much for sharing! Would you happen to have seen any Walt Disney Treasures sets there? I didn’t see any in this video but was wondering if you saw any.
Welcome to my hometown Dallas Tx Shawn hope you enjoyed your visit love the video man it's like 5 movie trading companies in the metro plex later on man✌
Hey Shawn what’s up Buddy! How did we not bumped into each other I live in Dallas, TX what part of Texas are you in. In Dallas, TX we gave 3 locations of Movie Trading Companies. I did get Terrifier on Blu-ray but I got that at Frys Electronics.
You know Shawn they always say everything is bigger in Texas and I guess that includes the Movie stores too! haha. Regarding the comment I made in Tuesdays video about the "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" VHS Retro slipcover. Walmart has it on a shelf with other Movies away from the Movie section. I found mine randomly in the middle of the isle a ways down from the Movie section.
Ah man wished you had looked at the hddvds a little longer, reds, august rush (i think), sahara at what looks to be 1.99 , damn wish i places like that near me!
i got hddvd first too shawn lol :) i still buy hddvds once in awhile...they are super cheap now great store...wish we have a store like that in maryland...really sucks here lol 😀

I think any place like that for me here is fye i guess. had one close by before they closed but have other stores farther away in a mall by chance still. since pandemic and other reasons i pretty much stay close to home so any real old stuff by chance get from places that sell dvd or blu ray at clearance really like biglots, dt, and 99 cent store. by chance if any at walmart, but know they try get rid of media by how much they fill their dump bins or donate to places anytime lol
@@coolduder Yea, cause the virus many places are trying to reopen at anytime now. some may never if cant make changes to keep everyone distance or deice to just stay close if saw things was not getting any better before virus any. .
