Like all other creatures on earth, the snake is going to weigh its options before acting, and it knows that it can’t stay in one spot and survive... It has to move, but it’s going to take the path of least resistance. So if the repellent is surrounding the snake, it’s not going to trap them in, but if it has a choice, it will find it’s way around it. It’s a repellent, not a trap.

This does not work. There are no such things that keep snakes away other than letting them crawl and be free. I just cut my grass and a black snake was crawling toward me. I ran like a woman in heat. Guess what? I did not finish cutting the grass.

That’s how I would do it. Rear naked choke, be sure to put the hooks in, choke it out. Put a leash on it while it’s unconscious. Do that 10-15 times, and surround you property with them. That’s what I would do.

There were times in my younger days when I sprayed like 5-6 times a day. Now I keep it at a steady 1-2 times a day, at most.

Bird shot is quit effective. Burn out the tree stump or hire a stump grinding service. No home = no snake
