Also, keep that ISO as low as possible, try to keep your shutter rate twice as fast as your frame rate, So (ISO 100 , 1/60 shutter) the T100 shoot 30 frames so keeping you shutter at 1/60 may be difficult but a Variable ND filter is a must for the bag. But there is a ton to learn that a good place to start though.

Jump into primes immediately! Canon 50mm 1.8 first, then 24mm 2.8, then the 40mm 2.8. !PRIMES ARE LIFE! if you wanna get into cinema start jumping to prime lens now. Glad to see you getting into filming hope this help. Keep it up! Stay safe.
