Apnea detection in Series 10 is useful.
AW 10's screen is not 30% bigger than AW9. It's 30% bigger than AW6... Apple is smart in its PR.

The fact that you're a diver is great when it comes to reviewing stuff like the AW.
Took mine on a wreck dive off the coast of Florida a few weeks ago and it was great. My watch looks and operates the same as ever. Amazing that I can take something other than my Shearwater dive computer to sub-100ft depths in the ocean, get back on a boat, and then play music off of the watch. Truly a time to be alive.
Another Apple Watch update that only increased the size by 1 mm. I hardly see any difference when they make it thinner
They have lost the plot and burning their goodwill out fast.
I guess our wrists do not increase in size every year… 😅
You guys aren’t even aware of the huge amount of engineering work that requires an industrial design update like this one…
I am interested in the slightly thinner and slightly larger screen. Nowadays the real progress is on the software side anyhow.

I wonder how scratch resistant is the black ultra 🧐 cus my ultra hides the scratch very well honestly
The PVD coating does provide some resistance to scratching but it is not like DLC coating which is the absolute best at this characteristic. On PVD coated watches I've owned; it is usually the bracelet (clasp and links) that begin to show signs of wear with the PVD coming off. This also happens on PVD coated watch bezels. It will be interesting to see how the new Ultra holds up in this regard. DLC coating would have been better, but it would have added significantly to the total price.
@@MVK_GS According to Apple, it is a DLC coating. PVD just refers to the method of coating, not the type.

Apparently it is supposed to be scratch resistant , probably not indestructible though :).
I have a draw with old broken watches in it , im a clumsy old bugger , if anyone can mark it , it is me :).

Screen is scratch resistant but the Jet Black aluminum body tends to scratch easily. Kinda disappointing if you like a a black Apple Watch Series 10.

Now I see why there wasn’t a black Ultra 2 last year. They was holding it for this year smh the UA-cam bloggers were saying that there was a rumor of an Ultra 3. I was like ok maybe they are releasing a new Ultra every year now, and here they just gave us the watch that many wanted last year 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏽♂️

I really love how sleek the Satin Black looks, feels like it can go with anything! 😍 Can't wait to see how it holds up in daily use versus other colors. Also, the new features are a nice touch, but I hope they will make the battery last longer too! ⚡️

They call it polished, but really it’s a DLC (which is beautiful but scratched really easily! I had the iPhone 7 in Jet Black)

Case size is 46mm but display bigger than the ultra 2 I don’t get it
the screen size is 1220mm on the series 10 and 1189 on the ultra 2 I found out lol
Because the display is bigger since it goes edge to edge on the 10. When they say 49mm on the ultra they’re talking about the entire watch not just the display so the case size for the new 10 is 46mm but the display is bigger than the ultra since its edge to edge and doesn’t have the thick bumpers like the ultra
I wonder if the series 7 45mm cases will fit the series 10 46mm or if it’s just the band

Thanks boss... decided not to upgrade my Ultra 1 (even though I love the black) but instead "downgrade" to the new black S10. Tired of the bulk on my wrist.
I seriously thought about that, but couldn’t go back from the longer battery life. Ultra 2 black for me.

Actually, the Apple watch series 10 only has a 2,000nit display. So it's not the brightest Apple watch ever and Apple isn't claiming that because the Apple watch Ultra 2 has a 3,000nit display. Literally 50% brighter than the watch 10.

Those are the case sizes. The ultra has a larger case but with thicker bezels for greater protection, so its screen size is on par with the series 10.

Very confusing but I guess it’s all down to size of bezels. 49 mm case would be too big for my thin wrist, but 46 mm will probably be ok.

Thanks for putting up this vid so quickly, much appreciated. I've used Series 4 stainless steel 44mm forever and like the series 10. Natural Titanium 46mm. I'll get the nike sport band but will pair with my fancy existing bands (assuming compatible with 44mm bands?). I'm undecided whether its worth £750 or waiting for a used one... how quickly will it depreciate after 6/12 months based on previous years? I did some research on eBay but its not easy, especially with Series 9 being stainless steel - I understand series 10 is the first move to titanium (outside the ultra series).
