Isn't incredible the things that we can do when we put our minds to it! You wanted it and now you have made it for yourself! I'm so happy for you. I felt your excitement throughout the video! What a wonderful job you did too! Always fun to watch your videos!
I don’t dress cute to go mess with my chickens 😂 I always get dirt, chicken poo, or spider webs all over me. I do enjoy my chicken t-shirt when I take care of them though!
Omg this is super cute!!! With the weather turning a little cooler because September is here (yay!), you’ve inspired me to start crocheting my own sweater!
Well, I'm current in a hotel room after a Disney day, crocheting a graphghan for my granddaughter's birthday. Just chilling with you, color changes and all😂 And, Yes, it's hot in socal; but not as humid as it in at home in north Cali right now😮
In Norway we call the red part of the chicken or rooster for a comb, - to do your hair with, you know. I guess maybe you have the same word? (PS! The Norwegian word in KAM, but it MEANS comb.) Thanks for your videos 🥰
That chicken is so awesome! I'm almost considering trying it, but I really dislike tapestry patterns. But your enthousiasm is very contagious so I'm also making a sweater now. I'm using the pattern @bellscreate recently posted.
Letter sizes on hooks are a joke. but for the record, its by brand. Furls, susan bates and clover G hooks are 4mm Boye is 4.25. There is also a size 7 (clover) or G+ (furls) that is a 4.5mm. Hope that info helps someone.
Thank you so much! I have a tutorial for a very similar one here on the channel: ua-cam.com/video/kwpMyiugUu4/v-deo.htmlsi=uMN7hWakqvt3YcVM and I used Caron Cotton Cakes in the color Beach View for this one (:
One question... Do you call those nuts "acorn" or "ekorn" or something??? If it´s the latter, I think that is SOOOOO interesting, because the word "ekorn" written like this in Norwegian means a squirrel, and it´s the squirrels that collect and eat those nuts. Hm... pretty cool if this is true...
Comb and Waddles - Im loving this whole idea! I own and hatch my own chickens so Im manifesting it for you as well
Aww thank you!! That is so awesome! Now you need a chicken sweater! hehehe
I was coming down to say the names and saw you had already done it🤣🤣🤣
@@hooksandheelers lol my daughter has told me she expects me to make her one lol we shall see lol
We have chickens and they are my 11 year old little brothers pride and joy so he will definitely be getting a chicken sweater for Christmas 😂
Sweater is great. I bet a variegated grey would work great also, less color changes.
I just love when inspiration hits and I NEED to bring it to life. 😂
Yay! Great job. Thank you for sharing. I love starting projects but not so great at finishing them. So congrats to that too. 😊

It turned out soooo good! I’ve been wanting to make a fun sweater like that for a while, maybe this is my sign to do so 😂
Hahaha yes it's so worth it! The designer of this pattern has so many other good ones too. And thank you so much! (:
It's super cute! Would've been fun to have an egg on the back panel and make it so that you can wear it with either side in front :D
Love this! I hope to be a crazy chicken lady someday! Can you share you process for washing? Machine wash? Cold water? Lay flat to dry? Thanks!

Could u add more length to the cuff? Or is that not really possible now
I probably could've but I would have to detach the sleeve and I'm too lazy/it doesn't bother me enough to do that hehe
