For those who don't know, the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway (RH&DR) is, without doubt, the best day out in Kent if not the south of England. Kids, grandparents, hairy bikers, couples & all in between. Get on the platform at Hythe & take the long journey to the "other worldly" Dungeness (where this train didn't stop.) Stop off at Dymchurch or St.Mary's for a beach day, see the exhibition & depot at New Romney, and tea & cakes in the shadow of the 2 ex-nuclear power stations at Dungeness. It's fantastic.
