Bloody hell! Thanks a LOT, mate. It was my first time playing f1 manager (i just played the f1 drivers) and i was suffering a lot with mercedes. After 12 races i was at the same place. nothing change, no progress at all. After finding ur video i started all again a new season. I managed to do 1-2 in Australia. I'm still surprised. Thanks!

Good stuff, great video! I got the game a week ago and jumped straight into a career with McLaren. I obviously had no clue and spend a lot of money on a lot of stuff, least of it on design of new parts which made me celebrate P12 positions. Got a total of 1 point and just barely held on to my job. Then I discovered that in qualifying used tires are faster on the second stint than new ones and found your video. I put everything into design and manufacturing before the first race (by the way, why are you not starting your process 1st Jan?) and got into Q3 with Lando and ended up P6 in the race with a bit of luck. Thanks man! And you got a very nice voice to listen to. Will watch more of your stuff now.
I more or less did all the same things you did and I too had a dominant car by Baku. Sadly though, Ferrari and Red Bull both upgraded past me by the Canadian Grand Prix and I can't seem to close the gap to them anymore. No matter what part I try to develop It ends up being a downgrade from my first round of development. I tried making parts for experience but not actually building them, but it seems to be a waste of time as no matter how many it doesnt' seem to improve my next designs. I'd love to see you continue this save to see how you managed to keep upgrading the car.
I did what you do in the video and i won the Constructor champinship in Japan and the DC with Lewis in Austin he became now a 8th time champion in the season end i have around 20-25 million left in the costcap and i made 11 pole 18 race win (15 race win was 1-2 finish) and I made 5 sprint win through the season the final result (for me is 558 points got Lewis and 978 points on the Constructors). I really thanks the tips in this video.

When you get trough these upgrades you can continue upgrading the same way and you should be safe, if you want to you can try and get some top speed into the car if you struggle with overtaking but should be no problem to just continue the same as I did.

There will always be some trade off, aswell as the facts that some parts have larger multipliers for certain stats, for instance the rear wings is great for top speed, front wing for cornering, sidepods and chassis are decent for both cornering and top speed, suspension is mainly cornering focused and the underfloor is good at everything. If you try and put top speed on a part that isn't really suited for top speed you will end up sacrificing cooling/cornering to get there.
I did this but i cant follow your tire strategy, for me it is showing a lot of deg if i run on aggressive and lap times are also not matching with you, is it after some patch or i am missing something?
On your car panel under fuel you will have a plus or a - , these signify how much fuel you're expected to have a the end of the race if you run standard.
