softpools - disco cat (full album)

'softpools' is a band consisting of guitarist, bassist and lead vocalist 'Clayyton Stultz' & drummer 'Kai Witherspoon' - both of whom were 18 & 20 respectively when they first formed the band in 1991. after finding cassettes filled with their music, a small community of 'softpool' fans (titled 'the poolers') decided to upload & publish the bands music; with consent from the band, of course.
their debut ep of 7 songs, 'disco cat', was released in May of 1991 from their garage. the ep carries themes of finding oneself or moving on in mental and physical ways. their sloppy, grunge-fueled style with heart-heavy vocals (now known online as a style aptly named 'slowcore') would be the focal point of their existence as a band.
