Hey, Commanders! Please do not spoil the game, including giving any subtle hints of what's to come! These are once in a lifetime experiences for us gamers, and they cant be recreated if spoiled. Also, use my code BWROBYN20 for 20% off the BioWare Gear Store! gear.bioware.com/ 💙
Team Geth huh? Boshtet! Team Quarian all the way! Btw I have just used your code to get myself the Tali Unmasked photo replica because got to represent best girl
@@Jonno92100 Aww I've seen that on the Gear Store before too! It looks so cute. I ordered myself the Garrus t-shirt and Alenko key rings recently too ha.
The Geth have been misused by nearly everyone. They only ever wanted peace and first it was the Quarians, then Saren and the Reapers. They have really cool voices too
I love the Blasto movie poster! Listen to the whole thing, it's hilarious. I think it's not ripping off of one movie but the 80s cop buddy dramedy genre. You have the frazzled Chief who can't contain his officers. Blasto works without a partner. Bubin is a 'by the book' veteran with only 3 days until retirement. Everything Blasto says is a "hanar-ized" version of a script of a corny 80s action movie. 😅🎉😅
That "You accept our actions?" line from Legion always makes me shiver a moment. It's the moment, I think, where Legion is confirming that you have passed his test about whose side you are on. Also, speaking of wanting lore, the Dr Bryson questline specifically no longer has any weirdness due to doing it too soon. Do things when you want, but the major reason to warn against doing it too soon is now no longer a concern at this point in the story.
You missed the second memory shard, which showed why the Quarians suddenly turned on the Geth, one of them asked their creator "Does this unit have a soul?"
All of the N7 missions double as multiplayer maps. So, the N7 reactor mission is creatively named Firebase Reactor in multiplayer. Back when I played the multiplayer regularly, one of the friends that I used to play with had a habit of trapping people inside the Reactor; just seeing that area brings to mind her cackle when she trapped one of us.
You really need to remember ammo powers, they are just buffs in this game and can even be activated while your powers are on cool down. BTW Incendiary and Cryo ammo can also make a combo with your Charge. Charge is a "universal detonator" so any enemies that are 'primed' (most powers that give a lasting effect prime) get detonated by Charge. Light them on fire with incendiary ammo? Explosion, Reave? Explosion, Frozen? Kaboom. Detonations are big damage boosts. Blasto lines tend to mirror Lethal Weapon... but as the general theme is "buddy cop" Bad boys is definitely possible. Edit: Xen is probably my least favorite Admiral... It's not that the historian was unreliable its that the Quarians believed they were in the right to eliminate the machine they created. So from their side (Qs) the machines tried to eradicate them (they did try...) because they are heartless evil things. Point of the Server mission was to show that both sides were wrong, the Geth committed genocide (or tried to) until the Quarians left and they decided not to follow. Whilst the Quarians tried to destroy the Geth out of fear without trying to understand what had happened... and continued to demonize the Geth for defending themselves. Edit 2: Legion: We are Normandy and Normandy means family.
The Geth Consensus mission has always been one of my favourites. It's so unique and not like any other mission across the 3 games. It also gives great context to the Quarian-Geth war by bringing the Geth's perspective into it. As you said, we've only had the Quarian POV so far, and that's been very negative ranging from Gerral's kill them all attitude to Xen's they're just machines and we can control them bullshit. I love the Geth, I love their story arc and their lore. I'm always on their side. Really looking forward to the next Priority mission! Trust in your paragon/renegade options in conversations. I know you wanted to save the civilians but saving Admiral Koris was the most beneficial overall. You made the right call 😎
You go girl, don't mind other's opinion, why would you have a lovely boyfriend and don't take him everywhere with you? It's nearly the end of the world, of course you should spend every minutes with you love one!
I'm going to be a nerd now (although I suppose watching someone play Mass Effect while I eat my chippy is arguably already pretty nerdy but I digress) the reason for the Cryo thing is because when people read they don't actually read the word, they read the shape. It's why roadsigns aren't in all capitals. It's also why you can read this. "Do yuo fnid tihs smilpe to raed? Bceuase of the phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, @msot plepoe do"
I think the reason as to why people people like pronouncing cryo as cyro is because of the similar yet much more popular word pyro. Cyro also sounds similar to Cairo and due to people being familiar with those words it will sound familiar enough to feel right.
2:08 and this is where mods can fix some things, you notice his mouth isnt moving at all, its because he is supposed to be wearing his helmet (so is javik if he even had a helmet to begin with, which he doesnt), considering the whole area has a gas leak., but for now, we get to enjoy the one of many things Bioware didnt go back and fix XD. 57:56 well Geth aint called flashlight heads for no reason, (Bioware never fixed the brightness of that lense flare, something that could be fixed with a mod) Also i do hope you get to the other DLC's at some point before the end.
SPOILER FREE - The Rescue the Admiral mission is one of those with great subtle differences for every character you take with you. All the more reason to do multiple playthroughs. It always annoys me that we don't use the turret like in the Rescue the Admiral, during our "clearing the LZ" in the Turrian Moon mission.
Ah this is the part of ME3 plot where I facepalm hard. As brilliantly the Genophage arc has been established, hyped up and resolved - as crappy the narration of Geth-Quarian conflict in this game is. And Geth server mission is the peak of that. It's so absurdly manipulative it's not even funny. When Geth memories jump from "we poor little synthetics just doing self-defense from oppressive creators" to "we merciful synthetics let our oppressive creators escape" conveniently skipping the extermination of B I L L I O N S of Quarians - civilians, children - this is where I nearly dropped the game first time I was playing it. How come the game which PEGI-rated as R could have this elementary school level writing fragment? "GETH GUD, QIARIAN BAD" is being shoved into gamers' throat in absolutely unhinged way. I'm not even mentioning numerous retcons of Geth lore in this game compared to what we've learned in dialogues with Legion in ME2.
The setup could've been done better but the retcon to the lore does make sense, for 300 years the Galaxy only had the Quarian side of the story and to get sympathy they would paint themselves as the victims, its happened in human history before and will probably happen again. Yet now we're seeing the Geth side where the Quarians were the initial aggressors, even killing their own people who were in support of the Geth.
Lucy is that one friend who always has to bring her boyfriend with her everywhere and he just stands around looking uncomfortable, or in this case, getting shot. 😜
You are in for a tough one with this priority mission, it was one of my most stressful when i did it back when it came out. Good luck with the next mission, also great playthrough!
Humans are really just sophisticated biological machines though, nothing more than cells bound to the confines of physics and chemistry. If machines get advanced enough (geth), who am I to say they don’t have a soul.
Ah. What if you don't believe in the soul? 'Cause I don't : neither the concept, nor the hierarchical metaphysics of it. At all. I grok the "explanations" that people (and priests) offer me and find them absolutely unconvincing . . .

I’m so glad to have some of them on side now!
Jona is an orphan now.. His mum was on the ship in me2 where tali searched for her father 😢
Nooo :(

VERY cute

@lucyjrobyn His conversation with james makes this make alot more sense.

Captain Riley really is just a minor side character, but her exact appearance is the Human female Vanguard in multiplayer, just a fun fact ❤

I was playing solo once and I trapped myself inside somehow 😂 I survived but afterwards I immediately got sniped by a Nemesis.
I just finished ME3 on the legendary edition yesterday and I got to say it was a good ride
GG!
The next episode is gonna rock!!! 🤘
Eee I’m excited, will be live streaming it tomorrow night!
@@lucyjrobyn awesome 😎.

I could never trust a sentient machine no matter how personable or human they seem, they are just machines, they will never be alive or have souls.
