I get so tired of singers who do so many runs that it takes away from the song's meaning. I do appreciate great vocals, but I couldn't sit through a 3.5-hour concert of someone who does vocal acrobatics just to show they can. I appreciate Taylor because she does enough to tell the story. It provides a lot of insight into her life and her songwriting. 2) If you’re ever reacting to just a song, with no MV or live performance, use her official lyric videos- they are well crafted. 3) Taylor has said that she considers herself a songwriter who sings. She has written or co-written all of her songs. I saw her in Sydney back in Feb and it was incredible. Im 45 & went with my 16yo niece, to one side of us was 2 guys & 2 girls in their 20s, on the other was a family with 2 younger kids. Absolute mixed bag of a crowd and everyone was dressed up and singing to every song. There's something really magical about singing at the top of your lungs along with another 80,000 people. You will be suprised. She is known for her songwriting as she writes her own songs. She does so many types of genres. She started out in country as a teen then pop music and some r&b almost rap style... not exactly rapping but has colabs witn Kendrick Lamar and future. She has great ballads that tell great stories even folk type music and rock. Keep going!!!

Vigilante shit, I did something bad, look what u made me do…. And enjoy the trip down the rest of the rabbit hole… I regret assuming she was just a teenie bopper…. But now I know she’s a grown ass woman with bars for days!! She writes ALL of her own songs, and directs!! Her talent is unmatched. She has amazing stage presence and is a great story teller. One of my favorite things about her is she’s REAL… her reactions when something goes wrong or she forgets lyrics or anything like that is genuine. I’m new to the fandom and I can almost 100% guarantee you’ll be an unapologetic Swifty within three songs…. I’m subscribing just to follow ur TS journey 😊
