I met Laurelle (his mum) at Troyes first Blue Neighbourhood show which was held in his (and my) hometown of Perth, Western Australia. I walked through the doors and screamed when I saw her. It was like an out of body experience, I don't know why I did it but I did. She was the kindest person ever, she just screamed back and bear hugged me. Also later on in the show she was in the mosh to bring Troye's singing teacher to the front where they held hands and the teacher burst into tears. One of the best nights on my life
