I enjoy watching this immensely, and they are ALL so talented. Thibault, however, is absolutely mesmerizing to me. As a completely new observer, can someone who knows tell me what it is that he does so differently that makes him so special to watch? I ask with all sincerity. He just has something “extra” that all of the male dancers don’t have.
I'm new to this, too, but for me, there's 3 other leaders who I think are incredible, too (each in their own way) - Jordan Frisbee; Maxence Martin; and Leo Lorenzo. Jordan and his dance partner of 20+ years, Tatiana Mollman, are just incredible. They're in a league of their own, IMO. but I don't have an answer to your question of what makes him / them stand out. Presence? Technique? Mannerisms? I'm not sure. Hopefully, someone else does?
I am also new and my opinion is that a dance looks great when two are performing and in a couple dance the man is the support, the guide when needs to be,the one making the woman look like she is flying, like she is doing no effort and same is she .It seems like she is doing everything without effort and need of someone because of the man, so my opinion is, the man is part of that beautiful art work, each one with its part. Yes they could very well dance alone but when alone you are limited in possible movements, in two ,with a support you can do so much more.I would like to see a dance where the woman is the support and watch the man dance more,I bet they can and maybe then you will understand.
Just imagine the potential if TBo and Victoria actually choreographed something together 🤯 oh plase oh please oh please universe make it happen 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
This is the first time a FEMALE has distracted me from eyes locked on TBo 😳 She’s an excellent compliment to his talent! Do more professionally together 🙏🏻
@@MissTwoSetEncyclopedia maybe when Nicole takes a break to have a few kids she will allow him to expand to his professional potential choreographing something with Victoria.
This is amazing, but I don't understand how this works. It looks like they just pick a random partner and go, but they must have choreographed and practiced this beforehand.
Not practiced beforehand and not choreographed. WCS has a structure that both dancers know and so they're playing within that structure. Rather like music has keys and scales. They're also both incredibly talented dancers. So called Jack n Jill dancing (i.e. random partner, random music) is at the heart of WCS and why it's closer to social dancing where by definition you can't predict the music or which partner you'll have.

To me he seems to pay so much attention to his partner, and that makes the male leaders so attractive

He's my favorite!
So good! 😍
Victoria is amazing!
this music selection system was so great, they all seem to have had so much fun with their songs
That's a person picking the songs. Apparently his name was Justin that weekend (they thanked him in this video).
@@super_siri lols justin absolutely is great, i just meant the system behind it where they actually got involved in the picking to such an extent
@@Alicia-ip5gg oh yeah that was cute.
Ben is wonderful host. And dancers, oh! Amazing
Victoria gets better. She's been around a long time. Still winning

They danced plenty of times in competitions, look on UA-cam. It's only improvisations though, he's only done routines with his wife Nicole.

Super. What is the style?
This is West Coast Swing
What is this and don't we have this in the Midwest?
There are a lot of events and dancestudios in the Midwest for West Coast Swing. :-)
Maybe the community can help you to find a good one :-)
Where in the Midwest are you??
@@WCS . Thanks, will look into it...

Although she pulled it off, Victoria had a bunch of issues. Thibault was so attentive and helpful.
Lol it looks like victoria had issues because of thibault
@@cordeliaora6749 i agree!
In my opinion Ben Morris is Victoria's best dancing partner.

yes, they pick a random partner and music and improvise))
