The biggest thing that blows my mind with West Coast is these dances are all improv. I aspire to be at this level of technique and musicality someday down the road. They're incredible and mesmerizing to watch and it never gets old

When I sheet stressed out, I watch these guys over and over. They’re such an great group of dancers, truly care about one another, and their skill-level is OUTSTANDING🙌🏼❤️ I watch their eyes as they dance, also; you can really see how they communicate ..I’m blown away by these beautiful people (not just Ben and Victoria - MOST of them🔥😘

I'm sorry can someone please explain what is good about this? It's PAINFUL for me to watch.. these people have NO LINES.. flexed, UNpointed feet, spread open legs.. they're total amateurs. They look like they've had zero classical training. they're just very practiced social dancers and they've practiced the wrong technique.. basically they have zero classical technique.. it's very painful to watch.. also almost zero natural rhythm.. I can't stress enough that this is PAINFUL to watch., so why does everyone like it.. it's objectively BAD from a technical perspective.
They just dance so good together ❤❤❤

This is NOT good dancing.. the lines are broken with bent knees and open legs.. unpointed toes.. .. these people are casual amatures.. they are clearly NOT classically trained dancers in ANY genre.. why are we clapping for complete amateurs?!?! I do t understand the fascination.. they're honestly painful to watch. .. this is NOT GOOD, or skilled.. this is like really good BAD untrained dancing.
You must be a professional to give such critical feedback. Where are the videos of your dancing? I'm sure you can show us how it's "really" done.
Yet, a West Coast swing dancer did win. So you can think you can dance (benji schwimmer). I understand you Dawn. But there is way more to dancing then just pointed toes. Music interpertation, Partnership, showmanship, etc.etc. You mist the point of dancing if you think that pointed toes en techniek is dancing. And yes techniek can improve the dancing. But I like to watch this type of dancing because it is free and very much open for own interperation. No fixed routine. Anyway, try to look with different eyes to dancing and enjoy it more!!!

Dawn, when I see bad dancing, I simply look away, I don't let it imprint, I don't dwell and I certainly don't spend a minute trying to convince people that they are wrong if they enjoy something. I am spending this one minute to tell you, you could do so much more with love & positivity and commenting on things that you love, you would benefit from some likes and love returned to you. The negativity and shade that you throw will keep coming back on you splattered like poo. Move along now, heed my advice. Be a better person. Spread love, show kindness, be more like a dancer if you even are one.
