Can't wait to see your Christmas Trees created with Premier Puzzle Shimmer!!! Love how you buy yarns for your mom! As an avid knitter for many, many years I taught myself to crochet this year (using You Tube videos), and now I knit and crochet every day and love both!!!! It is so inspiring to see your passion for learning and expanding your horizon!!! Fantastic video! Thank you!
Hi Juan! It’s so interesting some people seem upset you might show knitting. I have been with you since almost your beginning. My interests vary on UA-cam. I love watching you. Like others say your voice is soothing and you are very interesting. I too am a knitter. I can crochet but am not as good at it. But with watching you and Chrystal, I am going to try and expand my crochet techniques. Thanks for being there and your great content!
The first time I saw you I thought, oh my, he is good looking,. No I'm not trying to o hit on you , I'm 75. The more I watch you the more I love you.One of the biggest reasons is your love for your Mother.A man who is good to his Mother is usually a good man. And I still think your handsome !! ❤😂😂
Juan, love all of the bargains! Have fun with your tree and card projects! I agree that the circular Clover bamboo knitting needles are easiest to use. The size (10 1/2) you chose will work well with bulky (#5) yarns. Great choice! I love both knit and crochet, too and combine them on occasion. Good for you challenging yourself to try new things - love your videos!
I've been knitting a number of years but still consider myself a beginner.... except for one little class at Joanne's, I am self- taught. I started with plastic straight needles and then Takumi wood/ bamboo circular and kind of settled on the ChiaGoo circular which are metal. I started learning crochet about 4 years after knitting and again self- taught. I pretty much am working on 3- 4 projects at a time... 2 crochet (which I like better) and 2 knitting. I I try to learn something new (even if its a tiny thing) per project. It's all about being creative and stimulating the mind.
I learned to knit first, before crochet, when I was very young. I have a hard time with it now because my left (non dominant hand) has carpal tunnel syndrome and until I have the surgery like I did on my right hand 20 yrs ago, I’m just sticking with crochet. Anyway, knitting is a beautiful art and you’ll love it! Go on with your bad self and learn away. I’ll be here for it. ❤
So many beautiful yarns. I had never heard the term leaky skein before but its perfect. The 10.5 on the knitting neddles is just another name for the size. Like how 6.5mm crochet hook is also called a "k" hook. I love that you want to educate yourself on more to understand what others are speaking about. We should never stop learning.
Your channel is awesome. Don’t worry about the crochet/knitting content. You’re handle plainly states “yarn addict”, that in my opinion means everything concerning yarn, textiles, and color. I’m looking forward to your knitting journey because I’m on it with you!!
You will love knitting! I taught myself a few years ago, after having crocheted for decades. I was surprised at how similar they are, even though most people say they aren’t. Knitting seems just like single crochet without the last pull through. (Plus, knitting uses about 1/3 the yardage of yarn compared to crochet)
Hi Juan! New sub here. First time I’ve ever had you come up in my feed, subbed right away. You’re SO PERFECTLY regular. In the best way possible. 💖 I, too, love heathered yarn. Your voice is very soothing to me. I’m with you on trying to knit. I hope I can learn, following along. I’ve taken classes, but it doesn’t seem to set in my mind. Btw, I’m also in love with the way you talk about your ’Ma’. My brother (RIP Donnie) always called my Mom Ma, my son also called her that, too. I’m so glad to have you in my subscription list!
Juan, I just LOVE the Big Twist colors that were shown at the beginning of the video! They are some of my favorite colors!! Also , the way that you showed your love for your yarn selections (by covering your face with your yarn) was just the cutest! It just made me smile! But don’t we all do that? It is the whole experience that we are going for!! That is why we love it so! Carry on!🥰
I can’t thank you enough for being you!!! It’s so relaxing listening to & watching your videos, as with Crystal, we know what & who you are so it’s like getting a video from a friend. Good luck with the knitting, I would absolutely love seeing you live. Take care my friend💞💞💞
It I am 73 and I can tell you that learning new things is like a spice of life and you should never stop. I finally know how to do so many things that when people ask me I simply say I am a maker of things. I am very proud of you when you say you want to learn how to knit and I truly hope that you want to learn to do a lot more things in your life time! PS I Love Your Channel you teach me things every day I watch it.
I just found your channel. It’s so great to see more men in fiber arts. It’s refreshing to see you guys get as excited about yarn and projects as we do! Keep up the amazing work! ❤❤
You are such a good son. Buying your mom all the yarn. She will be able to make pretty blankets. The Red yarn is stunning. Your charcoal looks like ashes! Lol. Thanks for sharing all the lovely things.
Good for you expanding those skills! Sometimes there's a "look" I have in mind and wish I knew how to knit. One day.... Thanks for sharing the BF yarn. Clear to see why Crystal calls you the "yarn enabler"💜
Juan you are a hoot you are a true yarn addict when you said these are a restock I just had to buy them we knew exactly what you were really saying. You are not the only yarn addict just one of the ones who doesn’t need to make excuses when you buy more “NEEDED” yarn LOL Enjoying the time with you.
Hi Juan! I'm into a lot of crafts-- knitting, crocheting, art, sewing, quilting, making jewelry, photography...learning something new does not take away from what you already know...in my humble opinion, I think it adds to and enhances...keep learning, it also helps keep the mind active and decreases chance of dementia. Awesome video, as always...hope your mom enjoys her yarn...
Hi Juan. The Clover bamboo circular needles will be a help in learning to knit, they have nice points and won't split the yarn (unless it's really splity). Here's a tip to straighten / unkink the cable - dip it in hot water (only the nylon cable!) for a few minutes; or if you have an electric hot water kettle you can run the cable back and forth across the outside of the kettle several times checking each time until it's pretty relaxed. Sometimes you have to be creative 😂 Sorry you're getting negativity. Apparently it's almost inevitable when you gain a wider viewer audience. Please try not to let them influence you. I'm really enjoying your channel and your personality. Take very good care. See you next time. 💖💕
Hi Juan, Great bargains there. The feathered yarn is lovely. I have a few things coming from Knitting Network, Lovecrafts, Wool Warehouse, The Wool Factory and Good Vibes Yarns 😂😂😂 I did look into getting some premier basic to see what it’s like but I think I have enough for now.
Hi Juan, thanks for the yarn haul. I would love to watch your live but I can’t because of the time change from UK. You will definitely have lots of people with you when you do it!
The 6.5mm is the thickness of the needle as you had guessed. The 10 1/2 designation is just the US size, which would be like J hook, K hook, etc. The length is the length of the cable. The 6.5 mm size is good for that nice and thick Soft Classic yarn. Why knitting? Why not? LOL. I do both knitting and crochet and love both.
Hi Juan! I just wanted to say thank you for always insisting on how good the value yarn is at Michael’s!!! I had never tried it before watching you and now I’m obsessed! I just started crocheting 6 months ago so I’m a newbie but I now have a smaller version of your collection of that yarn - I just love it! 🧶🧶🧶 I’m excited to see how your knitting journey goes! Once I’m comfortable with crocheting, I would like to try my hand at knitting and seeing you try is very encouraging! I work overnights so I sleep during the day but I will definitely watch the LIVES later if you keep them posted on your channel - I really enjoy your videos and look forward to hearing your opinions or adventures in all the things!
I’ve been knitting since I was 6 and crocheting since my teens (I’m 73). Some items are better knit and others are better crocheted. I’d take a knit sweater over a crocheted one. Some yarns work up better knit and others lend themselves better to crochet. I enjoy having WIPS in both for variety
Hats off to you for learning another craft ! It’s always good to spread your wings and learn as much as you can. I learned at an early age to crochet. This year I wanted to try knitting again and this year I stuck it out and I’m doing pretty good. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and to learn do more knitting. Yarn has come a long way from when I started crocheting. You have made me a loops and threads convert. I do want to try Caron yarn. I’m not crazy about the Big twist yarn. I find it to be splits a lot but the colors I do love. Happy Crocheting/ knitting 🧶 it’s all yarnie goodness
there Juan. I live in Canada and unfortunetly, we dont have the same opportunities here when yarn is on sale. We dont have joans, but we have Michaels. I would like sometime to get a nice pourcentage on my cart, but we can just use a coupon on regular item price only. Imagine I have to do several trips to get the amount I need for a blanket or a wearable. On top of it, since 2020, the selfs at michaels and my walmart are laterly empty. Anyway, I envie you to be able to get so nice price for your yarn. Love your content, I wish we can meet your mom soon. And I apologyse for my english, i'm a frech speaker who try to do her best. Take care of you and continue your amazing work.
Hi Juan! What great deals you got 😊 I’m sure your mum will love her squishy goodies! Great to see you arming yourself with knitting tools - all the luck to you ❤
Yay! Hi Juan! Let’s go! Yarn talk!!! YES! Edit: I applaud you for teaching yourself to knit. I’ve been trying off and on over the last couple of years and it’s difficult when your brain isn’t wired that way. You’ve inspired me to give it another go. I love all of the yarn you purchased and can’t wait to see what you make. As far as going live… anytime after 3 Eastern works for me. 🤣 You should go live! You’re an amazing content creator and I’m sure we’ve all got questions about all the things! 🥰🧶
So agree with Ruthie on all of this!👏🏻👏🏻 My bestie has tried some to teach me to knit. I’m not a great student & get frustrated with the leftieness of my brain 🙄 You’ve encouraged me to pull the needles out again- again! Thanks!
You had me laughing out loud at that Joann tape!! I’m a 50 year crocheter but I also cross stitch and do fancy needlework. I’m like you in that I love to try new things. Why not allow yourself the freedom to experiment? Some of the things I’ve done have gone by the wayside but others have become life long hobbies. The only way to know is TRY! Don’t let the knitter nay-sayers get to you
They probably gave you leakers bc they know no one will buy them off the shelf, but with an online order you pretty much have to take what they give you.🤬🤬🤬 Love your new goodies, especially what you got for Mom... Those 'charcoal' yarns aren't the same color, at least on camera, and yes, that is actually gray. Have a great day. 🐞
Oh, the yarn! I love the yarn. There's been so many wonderful sales this week I'm buying everything on sale and I love it all! Oooo! You'll have to say how your ma loved the yarn you got for her. So pretty! -- My late mother-in-law used to knit something then crochet a pretty border on it. Knowing how to knit may come in handy :)
Hi Juan. I do both. At present I'm knitting a beanie as I feel like knitting . Then next I might crochet a beanie. It depends how I feel. So do what you feel like.
Hi Juan. My hat is off to you, for learning to knit. I have been knitting since I was 5 years. Also I taught myself to crochet, when I was 8 years. Keep going with your knitting journey. You are doing really well.
The red and the aqua marine yarns are truly beautiful. The colors are so vivid!🤩 Love the sage too as it's one of my favorite colors. Lovely yarn buy💕💕
I'm not an expert, but I think sizes on knitting needles are like hook sizes. A "J" hook is the same as a "10" hook, both of which are 6 mm. A quick search says a size 10 US knitting needle is the same as a size 4 UK needle, both of which are also 6 mm. I don't think the number-as-a-name means anything beyond a way to distinguish between sizes. I suspect that everyone had their own system, but instead of standardizing, eventually all makers started labeling all products with all the various possibilties any particular shopper might use.
I'm so glad to see so many supporting you in learning to knit! I'm live both and glad I finally have the hang of it... may never master it, but so many yarns are absolutely gorgeous in a very basic stitch, so I don't stress over learning new ones. I do want to caution you... don't spend a bunch of money on needles before buying a set of circular needles! One set and you'll have all you need and if you get a good set (love mine from Knit Picks) you will see the difference. I liked the wooden circulars like you just bought, but needed different sizes and lengths so I saw the benefit in the set and am so glad I did fairly early on. I do still like the Pryms for very slick or splitty yarns though. I hope you read this and it helps! I'm looking forward to catching you live! It's been a pleasure getting to know you!
I watched your crochet scarf tutorial. It was great and the first time I've watched you. You're very good at what you do. I loved all your new yarn, but I was laughing also, looking at all the yarn behind you. You have a little bit of yarn 😂 I understand, though, because I also keep buying more yarn because there are different weights and fibers, etc. I was an avid crocheter and became a little bored with it. I wanted something more to challenge me, so I started knitting. It sure is challenging. Learning sweaters and cardigans. I'm trying to get them to fit and have learned the importance of guage. I still crochet, too. There are always new things coming out. To me, you can never learn enough. I like to be challenged. You have a gift with teaching, so I will continue watching your videos. I really enjoy them. Also, to me, isn't knitting and crocheting different sides of the same coin. 😊
I thoroughly enjoy your channel and your tutorials. I am happy for you that you are learning how to knit as well. I knit and crochet and find that if my hands get tired doing the one, I don’t have to stop creating something…I can work on the other for a while as they use different muscles. I have a knitting and a crochet channel for people who need tutorials for both. I have found the wooden or bamboo needles to be the easiest to use for all yarn weights as the tip of the needles are pointed , which is more helpful in lacework and Japanese knitting. The piece you were working on in your previous video is Garter stitch, and you were doing great for just learning. I have also learned over many years that some yarn is crochet worthy and some is best knitted according to how it behaves, if that makes sense. So learning both skills used up all the yarns appropriately. Keep learning all the things and bless others with your knowledge and work and your success is guaranteed.
I think it’s great you’re learning to knit. It’s always good to continue to learn new things. My stepdad is going to show me how to weld. Something completely out of my wheelhouse! So I know you can knit! Juan I think you will do an awesome job at going live. You’ll be a pro out of the gate. I believe in you. Oh, believe me, people will show up!!! We love you. Thank you for all you do! 💜
1. You go right ahead and knit in these videos! 2. The Joann employee who bagged your pick up order was multitasking...filling your order and giving you all the droopy stringy skeins that everyone shopping in the store passes by. This is an outrage! 🙃
Thanks to you and Crystal, I have become a yarn addict too. I went crazy over the weekend, with the black friday sales.. Now I have to get busy using it all. LOL. Also, you inspire me to learn to knit also. I have always wanted to learn..I learned to crochet and sew before I turned 8 . When I was 8, i made my first dress.. I am now 68. I sew for a living to this day making custom window treatments and other home decor.. I was too busy raising my 2 boys and working ,to crochet much until recently.. Boys are grown and moved out, my husband passed away in 2020 and I am simi retired now . Then I and came across Crystal's channel, and she got me started again. I am working on a sweater now. Then I found your channel and I am loving you both..You and I actually live close to each other I believe. I work in Newark Del.. Would love to go shopping for yarn with you and your Mom some day....LOL
I crochet and I am a crafter wood items mostly, why limit yourself it truly helps me with my mental health. Plus it's something I am able to do. I admire you and live seeing you grow. Keep doing you boo!
Hey Juan !! You’re so adorable💕 Great answers to your emails . I think what happens is some of your followers are worried they will loose you to knitting. We love you and I get it !Now that I knit I don’t worry about it . One of my favorite channels started knitting and I got really worried but it turned out ok . I learned to knit and like you wanted to know what they are talking about . I hope this makes sense . Loved all your color choices. I have a ton of yarn coming! You can’t beat the prices. sending Yarnie hugs to you and mom . Love Your yarnie sister from another mister 😂😂
Hey yarnie sis!! 🤗🤗 Thanks for the kind words. I’m sticking to it…I’m actually liking it. lol. I can’t wait to see what ya got…I’ll be keeping an eye out for your video. I love working on my WIPs while you show us your yarn!! Take care!! ((Hugs))
From the way the camera picks up the yarn strands and my perspective, the 5 weight Bulky IS thicker than the white. I really appreciate your reviewing these yarns as it makes my ability to choose much easier.
Love that you’re teaching yourself knitting. I’ve been crocheting for almost a year now and have learned a lot from Crystal. Since I’ve been watching your channel, it’s nice to know that you continue to improve your craft even though you already have the crochet skills. You wanting to learn to knit is amazing. Knowledge is never wasted. P.S. I also create personalized cards for family using photographs I’ve taken. That is my passion. Crochet is my hobby. Keep doing what you do, crochet or knitting, I love it all. Love the name adjustment.
I love crocheting and knitting but I love them differently. Crochet for me is nostalgic and it’s a comfort activity for me knitting …. I love the way knitting looks for certain things. Keep at it, once you get it your going to be like ohhhh ok this is it! thanks for sharing your world 😊
I think it’s awesome that you are challenging yourself out of your comfort zone. Crochet is my first love but I’m a pretty good knitter as well. Taught myself on UA-cam over 10 years ago. Keep up the practicing! Hugs from Fort Bragg, CA!
Hi Juan! My first time here, after hearing about your “enabling” from Crystal Bag-O-Day. I have crocheted since I was eight (on and off), and started knitting around 18 hrs ago, for a few months. I started knitting socks in 2019, “enabled by Kay, Crazy Sock Lady here on UA-cam. I stopped crocheting because all (and I do mean all) acrylic yarn started tearing up my hands, I made a few crocheted things with my merino sock yarn, but it is too expensive and tedious to use fingering weight yarn. Then, about 2 months ago I tried wearing a fingerless glove designed for gel manicures (I had tried other gloves, finger sleeves, lotions and creams, holding my yarn differently, looser tension, etc…) and I am crocheting again! I’ve already made a twin size blanket, granny squares for another, and am halfway through a twin size blanket for hubby. Now I am exploring what I have missed in crochet world since my trouble began. Thank you for the Black Friday yarn inspiration. Kudos!
I don’t know how to knit but I would love to learn. Also I am quite addicted to buying yarn on sale. It makes my daughter so mad because I have a closet full and she says I will never be able to use it all.
Hey Juan! I stopped at Joann today. But I only had 20 minutes (had to pick up my son) to get 3 skeins of yarn to finish my granny square blanket!! So many good deals. I think I’m going to do a pick up order tomorrow so I appreciate your insight on the deals. Looking forward to the LIVE!! Thanks for sharing ❤
I'm proud of you trying new fiberarts. Its fun knowing multiple skills and sometimes applying them in the same project. Marly Bird does both and is very successful reaching a broad audience. Do your Live when it works for you. You will get 24 different time frames and 7 days in your poll. Lol, I seldom get to watch Lives due to family commitments and my inability to stay up past 9pm, but I almost always watch the replays of my favorite podcasters. Just have fun with it. 😊
Love that your learning to knit. I have been trying a bit past 6 months. Remember to always be patient with yourself when trying something new. Remember everyone to turn your notifications on. Have a beautiful day Juan and anyone viewing this message!❤
Hi Juan - "Leakers" great description! "LIVE" will be Awesome!!! Always will enjoy & look forward to any video content you decide to chose! You have such a beautiful soul that draws ppl to you!
Hi Juan, I love the fact that you’re branching out with other things. I want to learn to knit too!! That’s my New Year’s resolution lol. Wondering if you could share UA-cam video on learning to knit that’s helpful. Thanks in advance.
I am a crocheter that dabbles in knitting every now and then. I love knitting scarves and the Ross beanie. It takes me a lot longer than crochet but it is nice to do something different.
Hi Juan 👋, I love it 😂 🙄 "idk why they call this charcoal guys" "this is charcoal....." I always manage to get a giggle, and I needed it today so thank you😊
Juan my Grandma taught me to knit and crochetat the age of 4 yes it was first with an Afghan hook then knit with straight hooks making headbands popular in the 50s. I'm now 72 and inventored my yarn. 12 pages both sides!
I always cake up my skeins when I'm ready to use them. Sometimes when im in the store and pickup a HM. I get a discount 😁. Im so into toddler size clothes. Dresses, onesies, sweaters and ponchos. Lately im addicted to mosaic afghans and amigarumi. ❤ Nice haul. Yake care.
I started with knitting when I was 11 years old ,then my grandmother thought I would be better at crocheting , she was right . I am glad that I can do both
Woohoo!! Knitting!! Yesssss! Can’t wait to see/hear what you make with those needles, and how you learn, and what’s easy and what’s hard, and all the things! I love knitting, I love crochet, I love yarn. Also, I love your channel; you’re the best!❤
I know how to knit, however crocheting has got me in and trying learn everthing i can. specially thanks to you and Crystal and Mary from wow crochet designs from Australia. i am enjoying it. special mention to Ross smelly yarn and Urban Yarn xxxx ☝👆👍
I highly recommend that you look into getting the book, teach yourself Visually Knitting!! It's a great book!! All my orders are not here yet and my local Joanns seems to not have any of the yarns I have wanted recently. They have cancelled my orders so many times or don't give me all the yarn that I try to order via curbside or online and ship to me... I think their inventory system is not real time. In Latin America in my family they would iron sheets and I have heard of folks ironing beadspreads. I'm not sure if they used to do that with the cotton thread yarn and also starch it or not.
Catching up on your content after a busy Thanksgiving week. I am realizing how much I truly enjoy your content .Your personality, your yarn wall, your voice, your laughter, all of it, Just gives "all the things". Thank you so much for taking the leap in creating this channel.
Wow, you really find great yarn buys. Why not knitting. I self taught myself to knit years ago. Now I crochet mostly. I enjoy both when I have time. Your channel, you can do what you want.
Juan, I've gotten into knitting and can tell you the 10.5 gauge needles are for bulky (level 5) yarns. It follows that the larger the needles, the larger the yarn. I'm sure that you will enjoy knitting with practice.
Hi Juan, you are so right that bulky is NOT a bulky 5, it's looks more like a 4 to me as well. That charcoal is NOT a charcoal but more like a light heather gray. Gray is a good neutral color and goes with just about any color. That bluetiful is pretty. Joann's will not do partial orders. If they do not have the amount you order they cancle that colorway altogether. I use to draw and color all my own Christmas cards. This year you will be getting one that I make as will bag-o-day. I really like loops and treads/craftmart. Ooooh, white with different colors of specks, Christmas trees. I can't knit either but would like to try to learn. You a lot braver than me. I'm proud that you are pushing yourself. I was told knitting is easier than crochet. I might try with you maybe I can knit as well as crochet...😂😂😂 I alway miss the live streams...yes we want you to go live...if no one shows up, just talk like you are on any other video people will slowly arrive.❤
Hi Juan I learned how to crochet first and then taught myself to knit. Now I knit better than I crochet and love them both. Great skill to learn both more flexibility and certainly different fabric can be produced. Keep working on your content we love it.
Can't wait to see your Christmas Trees created with Premier Puzzle Shimmer!!! Love how you buy yarns for your mom! As an avid knitter for many, many years I taught myself to crochet this year (using You Tube videos), and now I knit and crochet every day and love both!!!! 😂 Leakers! Never heard it called that. Good one. Your mum always seems to put a positive spin on things. Good for her.

No one on UA-cam has better etiquette and manners than Juan. His mama raised him right.
I agree . Not a 5. Someone is size and color misled. Charcoal, my behind. Love your acceptance of manufacturer's delusion. Hee Hee!
Yay, Juan and coffee first thing in the morning. Nice that you think of your mom in yarn buying. Your purchases are wonderful 😊
Juan, I just LOVE the Big Twist colors that were shown at the beginning of the video! They are some of my favorite colors!! Also , the way that you showed your love for your yarn selections (by covering your face with your yarn) was just the cutest! It just made me smile! But don’t we all do that? Always a happy day with new Juan content. Loved looking at all the wonderful yarn you picked. Thanks for a great start to new week.😊❤😊
I just found your channel. It’s so great to see more men in fiber arts. It’s refreshing to see you guys get as excited about yarn and projects as we do! Keep up the amazing work! ❤❤
I commend you for trying a new craft. People act as if practicing new yarn crafts is cheating on crochet. 😂
You are not the only yarn addict just one of the ones who doesn’t need to make excuses when you buy more “NEEDED” yarn LOL
Enjoying the time with you.
Sometimes you have to be creative 😂
Sorry you're getting negativity. Apparently it's almost inevitable when you gain a wider viewer audience. Please try not to let them influence you. I'm really enjoying your channel and your personality. Take very good care. See you next time. 💖💕
Ahhh I needed to hear your calming voice today and hear the great deals you got and see how your knitting skills are coming.
Yes. Looking forward to your first live. 😊 love listening to you.
YAY, it's ENABLER time!!! LOL.
Juan, i have been knitting for over 60 years! And crocheting for over 50.❤❤❤❤
Never limit yourself when it comes to yarn. Knowing how to knit and crochet can take you far and wide. Love your site....cool!😊
Hi Juan! I just wanted to say thank you for always insisting on how good the value yarn is at Michael’s!!! I had never tried it before watching you and now I’m obsessed! I just started crocheting 6 months ago so I’m a newbie but I now have a smaller version of your collection of that yarn - I just love it! 🧶🧶🧶
I’m excited to see how your knitting journey goes!
I just love you Juan the enabler! I love your videos, and I love that I found you, and I love that you are who you are!
Great to see you arming yourself with knitting tools - all the luck to you ❤
Thanks friend!!
Yay! Hi Juan! Let’s go! Yarn talk!!! YES!
Edit:
I applaud you for teaching yourself to knit. 🥰🧶
So agree with Ruthie on all of this!👏🏻👏🏻
My bestie has tried some to teach me to knit. I’m not a great student & get frustrated with the leftieness of my brain 🙄
You’ve encouraged me to pull the needles out again- again!
Don’t let the knitter nay-sayers get to you
Hi Juan
The only person that would conflict with me watching you live would be Crystal.❤❤😂😂😂
As a heads up, knitting takes a lot longer than crocheting but it is very relaxing if doing a simple stitch.
Hi Juan , I do both knit and crochet 😊,just be happy and do what makes you happy
They probably gave you leakers bc they know no one will buy them off the shelf, but with an online order you pretty much have to take what they give you.🤬🤬🤬
Love your new goodies, especially what you got for Mom...
AND ALL THE THINGS!!🤓🎯✨Love you Juan! And than there’s CYBER MONDAY!😱🤦♀️I don’t have any more ROOM 😢
Hi Juan! Thanks for the yarn haul review. I think it’s great to be bi-stitchual. Looking forward to the journey.
I love the Clover Takumi circulars!!
Those knitter's pride dreamz, and Prym knitting needles for the win!!
1. You go right ahead and knit in these videos! 2. The Joann employee who bagged your pick up order was multitasking...filling your order and giving you all the droopy stringy skeins that everyone shopping in the store passes by. This is an outrage! 🙃
Knit, crochet, it's all fiber arts. Go for it.
You got some awesome deals. I cannot wait to see the yarn scape after the renovation. Yay - Juan live sounds like fun times. Be well my friend.
Hi Gary!! Yes…I Can’t wait to go live, just rip the bandaid off and get it over with!! I’m itching to interact with everyone! Take care ((hugs))
I made an afghan with the blue speckle and it came out beautiful
Hey Juan !! You’re so adorable💕
Great answers to your emails .
Thanks for the kind words.
Kudos!
great personality :)) and you will master knitting
I don’t know how to knit but I would love to learn. Also I am quite addicted to buying yarn on sale. It makes my daughter so mad because I have a closet full and she says I will never be able to use it all.
Hey Juan! I stopped at Joann today. But I only had 20 minutes (had to pick up my son) to get 3 skeins of yarn to finish my granny square blanket!! So many good deals. I think I’m going to do a pick up order tomorrow so I appreciate your insight on the deals. Looking forward to the LIVE!! Thanks for sharing ❤
Hi Juan ! I love all color blues ! Go mom !!! Nice haul !!!! ❤❤❤❤. Agreed ! Why not ! 😉😊❤️❤️
I love heathered yarn too! the sage, red, and beige together would be gorgeous!
A leaker!!! That’s hilarious but makes perfect sense! ❤
I made crystals Christmas tree hat one year. It turned out great. My son wore it all night for Chris. She does such a great job teaching a person.
I am a crocheter that dabbles in knitting every now and then. I love knitting scarves and the Ross beanie. It takes me a lot longer than crochet but it is nice to do something different.
And yay 12k followers now way to go Juan
Excellent to learn new skills at any age. I’m 74 and just learning tapestry crochet. I also knit.
Juan I’m so proud of you for figuring out knitting. I’m ambidextrous and I still can’t wrap my head around it!
Hi Juan 👋, I love it 😂
🙄 "idk why they call this charcoal guys" "this is charcoal....." I always manage to get a giggle, and I needed it today so thank you😊
Juan my Grandma taught me to knit and crochetat the age of 4 yes it was first with an Afghan hook then knit with straight hooks making headbands popular in the 50s.
Yake care.
Yay for Yarn has great tutorials for both knitting & crochet. Excellent teacher.
I started with knitting when I was 11 years old ,then my grandmother thought I would be better at crocheting , she was right .
I am glad that I can do both
Great yarn hauls, good for you to want to challenge yourself. That's how we all keep evolving. ❤
Woohoo!! Knitting!!
I might try with you maybe I can knit as well as crochet...😂😂😂
I alway miss the live streams...yes we want you to go live...if no one shows up, just talk like you are on any other video people will slowly arrive.❤
Aww you are becoming Bistitchual ! Grateful that your wallet can support your growing quest for your yarn hobbies.
Bless it, that charcoal is the color of the ashes left at the bottom of your charcoal grill.
Hi Juan I learned how to crochet first and then taught myself to knit. Now I knit better than I crochet and love them both. Great skill to learn both more flexibility and certainly different fabric can be produced. Keep working on your content we love it.
