The cut flannel edge is going to fray when you wash it. Knit fabrics (T shirt) won't fray but the flannel will. I recommend doing a quick zigzag along your first seam, on the flannel side
i love this!! i’ve seen this design all over social media the past month or so, but everything out there currently is SO expensive!! thank you for sharing how to do it at home yourself!
Hey Ms. Arlene I love the idea. Those shirts are so unique one of a kind. I bet a bat wing sleeve would really make it pop. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.
@@Mimi-pr5tl I actually didn't expect my rug making supplies to all come in so quickly, so I'm going to start learning tomorrow...I will video the process and if it comes out at least half way decent I will post the video..I know its going to take at least 4 days to make, especially with my broken ribs, so we'll have to wait and see ❤❤❤❤
Im going to list them both tomorrow. I will let you know when they are up and running..Or if you want I can just get your address and ship it to you and you can pay through Venmo. I can ship it tomorrow. ❤❤❤Thanks
You can make flannel patches for jeans and denim jackets, sew a bunch of squares together and make a throw for your couch...so many different projects you can do❤❤❤👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
Its a cheap one my Mom got me from HSN. It was only like 49.00 or something crazy like that. I have since purchased a Singer Tradition 2277 I think It was a little over 300.00 from Joanns.
You should patent this design before someone else takes it and make more off of you. My mother designed the big shirts with the big pockets over the breasts. Cloth in the front and lace in the back. Someone was at the fashion show took pictures and stole the design the next thing we know they were selling them in stores everywhere. After that she started putting patents on all of her designs. Just a suggestion.❤
You have to put your sleeve through the small art attachment or if you dont have one, you have to bunch up the bottom of the material so it only sews the seams together and not the whole sleeve closed. ❤❤

@@ArlenesCreations You know it will! You have such creative talents! Cooking, sewing, etc! It will be wonderful!!!!🙏😇💜🥰
Please share some ideas on how to use up the leftover flannel that was not used in this project
You can make flannel patches for jeans and denim jackets, sew a bunch of squares together and make a throw for your couch...so many different projects you can do❤❤❤👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
Small heart ornaments, etc are easy. Square pillows. Hair scrunchies. Create a new shirt ! So many things!!❤
What size flannels do you use? Men’s or ladies?
I was just getting random men's ones at the thrift store. Mostly Mens size med and lg.❤❤
Where did you get that blue flannel with the red in it?
I get all my flannels from the Thrift Stores. Thanks for watching ❤❤❤
What sewing machine is this?

Can u do one of these without a sewing machine please
If you can stitch super small and super close together..but I wouldnt trust it in the wash...a sewing machine is so much better❤❤❤
Called common pins or straight pins
Is the shirt and the flannel the same size ?
I can send you the measurements in the morning. I am out for the night. And to be clear, you are talking about the golden retriever one ? ❤
Okay! And yes

Thanks, I appreciate that, but I've seen other people make these, I'm not the first. ❤❤❤❤
That sucks that it happened to your Mom. So sorry she had to go through that.😥
Okay, I was concerned.
"Jo Anne's " is probably in New York state
Jo-Ann Fabrics is an American chain fabric store.
i have tried this literally a million times and the sleeves are always sewn together. how do i stop this
