I'd like to point out, prior to Coeptus selling Bloxburg. Basically the entire game was outdated (Exept for Build Mode). The township was still in 2016 years, a lot of the buildings were empty (the whole township was generally outdated). With it being outdated, a lot of the RP community felt that they were being kicked to the curb, with updates being nothing more than a map change (like seasional changes) and build mode updates. The new developer team has been working tirelessly to update the town Gymnasium, Bloxy Burger, the beach. And I find it ironic that the RP community is complaining about it when they are getting modernized buildings...?

@@ariiipage gym yes I agree but bloxy burgers is such a good update. It was basically only working pizza planet until then for get money so it's nice for another job. Gym update also brought a bunch of new cool building items so im all for it

i feel like it is too late to save bloxburg imo, majority of the big bloxburg youtubers have quit and the rping community has moved on to better games 🤷♀️

kreek is right, using youtubers to help them decide what they should add will most definitely improve the game for both builders AND roleplayers! interacting with the community is one of the most vital things you need to do with stuff like this, I really hope they can take this advice
I wish they could. but unfortunately in many cases they will shrug it off. Unfortunately most games owned or bought out by companies ruin the entire game. For example games like ZO samurai, Driving empire, etc etc, where all bought out by huge companies that want to make money, can't hate them for that. The fact that they buy a game with a community that is passionate about playing it, then proceed to make it p2w in many cases, or just worse in general, makes the Roblox community hate these companies that purchase and take advantage of the popularity they already have, and eventually make the entire game lose popularity and inevitably perish.

What I find funny, is the fact the role-player side of Bloxburg feels neglected, but like a month ago, we got a whole update for role-players, it was a backpack filled with items you can just bring an item out when needed

Edit 2: I am no longer on Bloxburg's side. They screwed up big time. I will still play the game because I still find fun in it. Explanation: About a month ago, they made an update that is awful. You faint, you gotta pay bills for fainting, towing bills, and even worse, the best job (Pizza delivery) is the worst one now. Towing bills aren't much of a problem for me, because it takes very little to just park your car properly.
And we got a lot of different emotions and gestures for us as well

As a bloxburg player the new devs are doing really good and making really great animations and updates
I've been playing Bloxburg and honestly I haven't seen much of a difference except for the Blox Burgers job and actual rewards for levelling up skills/jobs. I barely noticed any updates prior to the ownership change excluding changing the season so I'm happy that with the new team, there's at least SOME new additions.
Yeah, and I really like the skill/job rewards because now you actually have something to work towards instead of just money and a trophy. I think that the game got even better now that it was sold because now there is a whole company developing. With more developers, the recent updates are bigger than the previous ones. Edit: I also LOVE the new Blox Burgers job system, it's so interactive and fun. I hope they update the other jobs too.
I personally think the game is getting a little bit (LITTLE BIT) complex and it's kind of turning into adopt me.

I haven’t played bloxburg actively in years but I think the building part of the game is what makes it unique compared to other role play games. Me personally since I never really roleplayed in bloxburg, I don’t have a problem and I think the game is fine. That’s just my opinion though. I understand the other side of the argument, but how much more roleplaying in bloxburg could you really add for people to be satisfied? What more do people want in the roleplaying community? There’s already so much options and ways to roleplay. Building is the main part of bloxburg and that’s what makes the game unique, but my main point is that this argument is dumb. The updates seem good enough and I don’t understand why people are mad. It’s silly

honestly i think bloxburg is fine with it’s updates, yea it seems it focuses more on builders for majority of it’s updates but it does have more detailed options for people to roleplay with, at the end of the day we can’t always please everyone in the world.

Fun fact: Brookhaven was supposed to be an horror game but kids made it a rp game and the owner just made it a rp game now that's why there's secrets hidden around the map
as a bloxburg player, i enjoy the new updates a lot since a lot of new but unexpected things were added to the game, but, the thing is that everyone is just in build mode now, if you go into a normal server, the chat will most likely be empty and if you roam around the neighbourhood, most people will be in build mode trying to sort out their houses or they will either be working to build it. sometimes, if your lucky, you get a roleplay server but statistics say (according to me lol) that itll estimate around 6 or 7 server hops to get into a roleplay server *on a weekday*. on the weekends itll take about 4 or 5 server hops (again according to me lol).
i know this is really long but in a short summary, bloxburg is lost and is in need of guidance.
going back to what kreek said about the community thing like asking the community what they want will help the game a lot. they should ask the players what they want so that the game can go up-hill and be enjoyable like it used to be back in 2018.

Which is why we have community managers. They need to figure out to balance out building and roleplayers.And me, i remeber playing back in 2018 when the whole server used to roleplay, now everyone builds. And they somehow need to figure out a way to bring it back and balance the players out.

I’m very satisfied with the new team. I like both role playing and building, although I do spend most of my time building houses that are killing my plot data.(Castles) There may be more build related updates, but I’m very happy to see that it’s getting new updates more often now. For role players, have you tried roleplay based neighborhoods? They’re very fun, and there’s a lot of cool fun roleplays going on there. Like zoo’s, school’s and even malls. I’ve also been in one that was filled with super fancy and luxurious houses, all looking like castles, my castle building addiction grew after that haha.
i mean, there have been multiple updates for roleplayers AND builders. as someone who plays bloxburg, roleplaying and building, i feel like ppl r losing interest in roleplays…and it’s not rlly the game and devs fault as there have been a ton of updates for both roleplayers and builders. ❤

Yeah I agree, most roleplayers are now playing Brookhaven or Berry Avenue, and idk what exactly these roleplayers want from bloxburg. Almost everything used for roleplayers comes from build mode. But if it’s realism they want, then maybe bloxburg could add features that make the game realistic, like a school, playground, cars that actually run of gas you have to pay for
@@brady4190 I would love realism, but I would hope they make a setting to turn it off in the settings because running out of gas would be so annoying when driving around the map to do the events 😭😭

Yes, they are more focused on build mode, but also, people usually RP in their houses, so it makes sense to focus on build mode rather than items for RP and stuff like that. I don’t 100% understand why people are mad, I don’t really see a difference in the game so far, and it’s still really fun.
I love Bloxburg, it's my favourite game, and I absolutely love it. I love building & roleplaying, and I think that they go hand in hand. You have to have built SOMETHING to roleplay, so I can understand both sides.

Ive been loving the recent bloxburg updates, I think the people complaining just need to mature up and deal with it. The developers are not neglecting you, they will add these things in the future eventually.
I think Embracer Group is giving us a lot of updates with the quality increased. While I do admit they are more building focused, more stuff to build = more potential things to rp.
And yeah, I dont see many roleplays in regular public servers, mostly in neighbourhoods.

There has absolutely been a focus on building, but that's how it should be building is a large part of what makes bloxburg well bloxburg, but they haven't even been neglecting role-playing. I mean, they have been adding at least 3 features to improvements for role playing per update so they are not neglecting role playing, It's just not their main focus.

no they have added more stuff for roleplaying than u might think, theyve added a new job recently, backpack with all the items for roleplaying, new cars and if you want to roleplay you need a realistic house and to make a realistic house you need good building stuff

Actually they haven’t if you actually played bloxburg you would know also they add more stuff to the building area because that’s where you place stuff down to roleplay with like with vehicles there’s not a tab on the side of the screen that says “buy vehicles here” you have to buy them in build mode

As a bloxburg player although roleplay has been a little dry bloxburg has been known for building since its release and they focus more on it because they want to improve. I love building in bloxburg and the updates we got for building made it better, but I do understand the frustration for roleplayers, but trying to stop people from playing is dumb and no one cares anyway.
Yes I do agree. There is "some stuff" it lacks in terms of things such as an actual school (and not one built by players who usually use them for RP stuff or whatever, not saying there's anything wrong with it though...), maybe a shopping center/mall whatever. I guess we kinda already have a public library inside Bloxburg City Hall, and the *NEW* observatory is pretty nice though. That [the observatory] was probably one of the most decent and nicest things they did add to the game. Prior to that, it didn't even have an interior; trust me I would know. I've played the game a lot these past couple years. Now if they *could* do a school, similar to what they did with the observatory-I'd be ALL IN on it! Hell maybe even have a game pass (or something like that) to play role of "Mayor of Bloxburg" if they want.
Simple solution each update can be targeted towards a different type of group as of right now it may be solely focused on building but that doesn’t mean they can’t add more stuff in the future for “role players” Also probably next year the maps going to probably get more revamps so like guys stop complaining and be patient. More role play opportunities will come.

I play bloxburg often and I can kinda see where this stemmed from but it all got out of hand. I dont think it's going downhill, but when it was Coeptus and Froggy, the game had a more "homely" feel where every detail would be examined thoroughly and they would try to make everything perfect. I'm not saying the new team don't, but I think they should spot some of the things in testing. I know it's hard to find lots of bugs, but I was disappointed with the Blox Burgers exterior because of how many imperfections there are and even when they've been pointed out, they don't get changed. I still love bloxburg, but in some areas it definitely needs work. I also don't see where people are coming from when they say the updates now are too builder focused, because they seem like a good mix. The last two have been roleplay focused, and the ones that are build focused have included simple items that everybody can use, not complicated stuff like shapes.

I think they should add different servers. One for builders and one for roleplayers. This would literally solve like a lot of the problems being presented in the community right now. The problem is that many roleplayers aren't even able to roleplay in a lot of servers due to the build heavy side of bloxburg. It would be way more fun to roleplay with people who are open and ready to currently roleplay with you. Again, these are just my thoughts on the issue.
maybe give everyone a private server for building their houses, and then they can roleplay on regular servers

I’d say that they are doing well fixing building issues and adding more to building but I do feel bad for the roleplayers
There’s barely any role players, every single server I join there’s just plots being build cause everybody has the border. I only approx see 1-2 roleplayers per MONTH

As a bloxburg player who plays 20+ hours of bloxburg a week, this is so dumb.

3: the developers have only been working on this game for 11 months so we can’t expect a school instantly. They did tease a school soon so please wait.

5:26, Bloxburg was sold because they needed legal help after a different company stole and copyrighted the name "Welcome to Bloxburg" And were only willing to sell the name for 1.5 million US Dollars, Coeptus could not afford buying the name or a potential DMCA or at worst a lawsuit, so he sold the game to the embracer group for legal help. Not for money.

I think the new dev thinks the construction part of the game is the main point of the game so they focus on it. They probably don't maybe give enough more focus the claim that the community is not satisfied with the current updates and that more roleplaying things are necessary, arguing that the existing updates are adequate or just simply not enough for them. Or just probably the devs arent used to this community. And i really like kreeks idea, maybe some way get ideas on what the community wants by perhaps contacting,or survey to the people like youtubers as Kreek said in the vid. With all respect for my opinion i dont see why they should the community be angry. So to summarize everything i said,

As someone who plays bloxburg they should probably add a functional school, I've heard every single player ask for this. ( Including me
The thing is they can’t really add role playing features. I think it’s just a lot of people are growing out of role playing (mostly probably 11-13 year old girls) and kinda don’t relize why it’s not fun anymore.

I do play bloxburg, I think the updates are great. I am a builder not a role player. If people are complaining about bloxburg not having good updates, it’s easy… don’t play it.

For those who don’t wanna watch the whole thing basically the new developer of bloxburg is focusing more on the town now since it was quite outdated as others say which I completely agree with but then the building community started complaining because they are saying “ITS NOT MODERN ENOUGH” I mean how modern could it get it’s already modern enough I’ll tell u what’s not modern is the map so I’m on the role play communities side because once we get better maps we get better rps and we won’t have to get the DIES* every 15 minutes into the rp and actually have a fun rp.
