LOVE THE HELICOPTER ROTARY BLADES...I WANT ONE
I like it, looking for something similar for my great room.
Thats a nice patio you have there. That fan is so cool plus the wet rated fans.
I have same fan and on the highest speed I can’t feel any air…and yes it is spinning the right way just doesn’t put off the air I thought it would
You might need a longer down rod
I’d love to see a thermometer, and just see if it takes it from like 90 to 86 or something, like it looks amazing but does it cool us down ya know..
Home Depot has it on its site and it says 25,000 CFM’s. Not bad for $399!
omg!!! Very large than aviation tyre!!!
Thank you for the review. What is the brand and model number?
Would have lov to see it at high speeds but all in all good video
Just purchased this fan but the light is too low for me. How do I order a bulb with more watt, never seen a bulb like this before.
I'm looking seriously at this fan, it's just hard to beat the price compared to others of similar size. However, it's hard to determine from the video what the actual color is, so would you say it's closer to old bronze, brown or black. Lastly, now that you've had it over one year, does it still perform to your expectations? Would you make the same choice and purchase it again? Thanks..
It is a challenge to describe the color. I would call it a "dark gray with a slight silver sheen". The color comes across accurately on the video. It has preformed flawlessly so far. We like it because it moves a lot of air over a wide area and does so very quietly. It turns fairly slowly. I hope this helps.
I can not find where to buy this fan or a price. Any help is appreciated!
@@bobgoodwin3653 Mine came from Home Depot, not sure they still carry it.
I got two 72” fans from Home Depot. That was the only size they carried. (Unless they have more online) LOVE this fan! Same exact only 72”
How tall is the ceiling that the fan is mounted on
Where did you buy?
concerned about how bright the 18 watt LED light is... we would be putting this in our covered veranda and it would be the only light source in the veranda. At it's brightest setting, do you feel that the light coming from that at night time is sufficient, say for example... for reading a book? does the manual tell you how many lumens that 18 watt light is?
Hi Jake, An 18 watt LED light is stated by many to put out about 1700 lumens or about the same as a 100 watt incandescent light bulb. Depending on the size of your room this might not be enough. Our covered patio has two recessed ceiling LED fixtures in addition to the fan light. We find ourselves using them when we want plenty of bright light like for a get together. I hope this helps.
@@jamest9297 yes, thank you! that was very helpful
We just bought this fan, and wondering if on this video did you record while fan was on highest speed. Wondering cause our on highest speed doesn’t move as fast and wondering if this is normal. It doesn’t move as fast as the indoor fans do.
Hi, this fan does not spin as fast as most indoor fans do. The b,lades are pitched to move more air at lower speeds. I hope this helps.
It does, thank you! I think it provides a nice breeze ... the problem right now it that it’s been super hot this weekend. Feeling like 107 ... I will share with my husband. Thanks!
I been looking at fans also, considering this one. Im sceptical as its much cheaper than other 84-100 inch fans with DC motors. My main concern is air flow, as CFM is not air speed. It looks like his installation is near a wall which helps with the air speed. My area is much more open on all sides. I know the fan height is important also, as many people mount them to high and then complain they feel nothing. The recommended height is 8-9 feet above floor level. Do you get a decent breeze from this in your application?
How close to the wall do you have it? I have a small space but have read I need to keep 18” clearance from the wall but you look much closer.
Hi Erik, I have about 6" of clearance from the two close walls. I have been enjoying this fan for over a year now in all types of weather. I hope this helps and thanks for visiting my reviews.
Jamest Thanks so much! That makes me feel less apprehensive about getting one installed in our area now!
@@eriksmetzer5057 did you end up getting one? I have extremely high ceilings and open like you mentioned yours was. Does it move a lot of air?
What store did you buy it from?
Home Depot online. Hope this helps.
How big is the area where you have the fan?
12X22
Why not do a demo of it on all speeds
What material are the blades made from?
Can you install this on a pitched ceiling? can i add a down rod, not sure how long the wires are from the motor
Hi, I can't recall how long the wires were, they are normally long enough to add an extension down rod but I can swear to that. You our your electrician could however add a pig tail extension. sorry.
About 4’ of wire. Can EASILY use a 3’ downrod!
It doesn't matter how long the wires that come with the fan are, since you can always add as much wire as you require for the length of rod, using wire nuts.
Those blades are too close for comfort 😬
I don't like LED lighting, as it emits a "blue" light which is bad for the eyes... causes blindness in the long term. I was wondering whether an incandescent bulb can be used?
Hi, I'm sorry but I don't think they could be used. This fan would require extensive rewiring because the LED attachment is an integrated panel. Thank you for visiting our reviews,
