*I have to add that usually when I do my beach inspections, I either walk down to the beach or take a bus to the beach. I was pleasantly surprised that in Antigua, people stop their car and offer me a ride if they see me walking along the road and are very interested in chatting with me, inviting me out and even buying me a drink. I can't remember the last time that happened in any other country. ✌️🇦🇬 Very friendly down to earth people Antiguans 🙏

I’m looking to go to Starfish Jolly Beach Resort in January but can’t find any reviews on Tripadvisor, they have been removed as I’ve heard they are renovating. Does anyone have any info on the present status of this resort?
Thx M P. Locals say they are racing with renovations to have a planned reopening likely now in November. But until it is listed on booking.com it is unavailable to book.

You didn't show the Beach Bar, or give any details on the restaurants there, or the local venders preparing food, it's a big part of what goes on at Jolly Harbour Beach. There are usually a lot more umbrellas and lounges set up and a lot more people depending on how many cruise ships are in port.
Have you seen the intro? Sandra's Beach Bar is the main focal point of this beach. Mentioned in the intro and also walking past it through the walking tour. I visited in October so was fairly quiet ✌️😉
