Chassisworks front clip and motor mounts. I drilled out the spot welds of the 67 dash along the windshield weatherstrip channel, and plug welded a 63 dash. The gauge cluster surrounding chrome is from OER, but the panel that holds them in is one that I designed and had my friend laser cut. I also grafted the gas gauges and battery gauge by the column on my own. Radiator is from Superior Radiator in Mt. Clemens Michigan and works awesome and was only $550 with fans included.
Thanks for the compliments. I've finally gotten into it a bit and so far I'm liking everything about the driveline. Trans runs nice and the FTI stall kicks real well. FLT had awesome communication with me throughout the build. I paid for the trans back in their holiday sale 2011 and they held it for about 5 months for me until I was ready to install it. Great company!!
You'll really like that FLT transmission. I have a stg 6 in my car with a 4k stall and it's taken the abuse I've put it through and still is flawless. Your car looks awesome. Great build. Good luck with it and hope you get it finished soon.
I was 18 and in high school when I bought a ' 66 SS Chevy II with the 350hp 327/ 4 spd. It was blue w/black interior and was mint. I kept it for 4 yrs and then sold it to a friend of mine who finally kept offering more and more until I sold it to him. I then went and bought a ' 69 Z28 302/4 spd. I only found out how few of the SS Chevy II's they made (around 5500) after many years had passed! (My first car was a ' 67 SS Chevelle 396 4 spd) Man, I wish I had ALL of those cars back! :-)
HAH I just read the whole description, my bad. Billy builds stout motors. When the time comes I'm going to be ordering a 370 from him built for boost and I bust my 347. He has the best prices, especially when you consider he is right in line with the places that build their motors using a team rather than a single person per engine. Nice combination and that will be a sweet ride after a bit of body work. I love 66-67 nova's.
Thanks Stan!! Yup, it gives a nice old school sound to the car. Drives really well too. Haven't had it to the track yet. Trying to fine tune the suspension to get some grip, and I have an issue in my 2-3 shift table.
About 150 miles so far. No issues with the pump. Car pulls very hard and I haven't had any starvation issues. 1/4 tank of fuel and all has been well so far. I am hoping to get it tuned within the next couple of weeks and I'll be able to give some more info on its performance to show what the pump is handling for me as far as HP level.
And if you go with the Superior radiator, I'd ask them to put the filler opening on the passenger side. That way your overflow tank is on the passenger side and that leaves more room for your air cleaner on the driver side.
Just remember to put in a trans cooler to help keep it running smooth. I've got mine running through the stock cooler and a B&M for the extra cooling. Heat kills these 4L60's.
what rear suspension are you running me and my dad are building a protouring nova for me and we are planing on getting a 4-links was thinking about the heidts rear clip
is the PWM controls standard on LS1's or is that something you put on? I'm about to order my gas tank and I have an LS1 too but all this new sh*t is confusing..

Thanks!!! I love all of the 1st and 2nd gen Novas. Best looking cars ever built!!
LS67NOVA hell yea I agree
No problem man. I went with the corner pickups but not the 58psi regulator because my PWM controls the pressure for me.
What front end clip, dash.dash gauges, motor mounts, and radiator do you have in it?
Looks extremely well built so far!

Up to 500 miles now. Pump has been operating perfectly. Getting tuned in two weeks, so I'll post the updates when its done.
Yes it is.
YIKES!
Thats Billy's shop aint it?
What size rim and back spacing are you using on the back?
If I remember right, its a 9.5" with 5.5 BS. I went with the wheels first, then did the axle to fit.
What size wheels
CBR (Church Boys Racing) LS headers.
