I am sure glad I found this video tonight, because I have an exam in 10 hours, and I needed the explanation of this identity. Thank you so much, trigfun! You earned a subscriber and a like! Can't wait to watch more trig videos!
outstanding, best version of this proof that I've seen. I like the way you argue for the angle in the small triangle to be = A. Before, I was getting there with more steps
damn this hit diff... if u still don't understand it pause the video and do it yourself, then come back to it as you catch up. it helps you understand. Thanks for the vid trigfun!
Saw 10 vids, I didn't understand why actually we had cosine in that and why sin(A+B) ≠ sinA + sinB You proved all of my confusion in on vedio, thank you♥️❤️💕💝
Emanuele Ghebaur I use a variety of different software programs including Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Final Cut Studio and garage band and then I string it all together.
This identity is used to find the optimum angle ' x ' for the maximum range of a projectile problem without using calculus. R = V^2[2sin( x )Cos( x )]/g or R = V^2[ sin(2x)]/g . R is max. when sin(2x) = 1; therefore 2x = 90 degrees Or x = 45 degrees.

Great tutorial. However, I discovered why I have so much trouble learning math. I have a hard time following an explanation when there is a lot to learn. If you were to segment each piece of information in the explanation, I would have a hard time placing or using that segment of information in building my understanding. I am not one to give up easily. I need a lot more time to process all the segments of the explanation and I need to do it myself for me to understand what was explained. Unfortunately, in a classroom setting, the teacher and the other students would have moved on before I could catch on to what was explained. It gets easier to learn something when you have seen and have worked with the information in the past. The information contained in each segment of the explanation becomes automatically known and my mind can place the new information in my understanding. I wish that there would be tutorials on how to learn and process technical information quickly.

400th sub!
Trigonometry is just beautiful! The rearrangements of the angles and side-lengths make me smile :)
Love you for your this wonderful explaination and technically working

FINALLY I FULLY UNDERSTOOD THIS! Thank you so much!!!! SO HELPFUL!!!
You are very welcome. I plan on making more visual explanations for mathematics. I do have channels on statistics and economics as well.
Just superb video; all is clean and clear, and uploaded into my brain, thx.
Abbba abbba what a marvellous exposition of proof of compound angle wonderful boss excellent no words
This was gold worth, been looking around for a hour or more to find someone that explained it so I could get it and this was amazing :D
Thanks for this video! This proof is etched in my brain now.

What are the names of these channels? And by the way , you just earned a subscriber!
Love from india ❤️❤️ it's great explaination sir👏👏
This video is perfect for me. Understood every bit of it. :) Thank You. Keep doing this. A really good method of teaching !!
You made it so easy. Thanks 😊
Very good, what program do you use for doing theese video-podcasts?

Thanks for reply ;)
Outstanding, I enjoyed it and look forward to more if you have time.
This video is really good ,thank you very much
thanx man for this clear explanation ,I saw other videos but there were not like this simple and clear proof :)
+osama al lami Great to hear. Good luck in your classes too.
This is great. Thank you!!!
Thank you, this is a very good video.
Help me understand a lot more!
very excellent explaintion
GREAT JOB - loved the video.
Excellent presentation! And of course, when ' x = y', we have Sin (2x) = 2sin(x)cos(x)
This identity is used to find the optimum angle ' x ' for the maximum range of a projectile problem without using calculus.
R = V^2[2sin( x )Cos( x )]/g or R = V^2[ sin(2x)]/g .
R is max. when sin(2x) = 1; therefore 2x = 90 degrees
Or x = 45 degrees.
this makes math so worth living for

Excellent video!!
With euler's forumla?
It's awesome explanation Sir. Thanks a lot. How this video was created. I mean by which software. Thanks once again
Sir,
I have a doubt , about sinA +sinB = hi.sinA + h2.sinB
according to me it should be h1.sinA/h1 + h2.sinB/h2
please help me clearing my doubt......
thx bro worth watching it!
Very good great with different colours.

nice video.
you please deduct in the same way sin(a-b), using the graphic .
Whew. Finally got it. This was really frustrating me

👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
How to prove
Sin (a - b) = sina cosb - cosa sinb
