I have a black belt in shotokan, and I've studied a decent bit of gojo ryu.(alot of other arts as well but as as far as karate I've done those and akido) But for the last 12 years or so I've been practicing wing Chun and Tai chi ect (which if you didn't know wing Chun is the Chinese art which gojo ryu primarily comes from) yes there are aspects of several other arts like white crane, kubudo and Kali but the combat application of Okinawan karate is primarily wing Chun. That's why it's so good lol

沖縄剛柔流の故八木明徳師範は戦後の沖縄剛柔流を再建した宮城長順の直弟子だった方で、沖縄剛柔流のスポーツ化に反対した事で有名な武道家でした。特に型の動きは日本の剛柔会とは一線を画しています。
宮平先生はこの空手の聖地・沖縄で中国武術の実戦性をずっと一人で示してきたんですよね!!

but Okinawa originally had a local martial art called okinawa Tee.karate is combination of okinawa tee and tou tee(chinese tee)

縦拳の方が力みが少なく、肩甲骨も動き易い感じがします
