I have seen the blue angels 4 times at air shows over the years. I served military many years and the sound of a jet on our side puts chills up my spine. Thank you for the up load.

I'm sure that one of the requirements of the T'birds and the Blue Angels is that both the pilots and the ground crew are good at mixing with people - "people persons" because they represent their service and their country. I would not be surprised if that same requirement holds for all the other demonstration teams - Canadian Snowbirds, British Red Arrows, S Korean Black Eagles, Japanese Blue Impulse. All these teams represent their service and their country to the public at large.
Was just sitting in my living room, when we heard a plane. We live in the flight path of Mccarran, so that's not unusual. But I'm a military brat, I know the difference between a commercial or private plane and a military jet. I went outside to see what was going on, and saw literally these guys doing a pass around the valley. Turns out, they were doing a flyby in support of and tribute to the covid 19 first responders and medical personnel. I had no idea, but it was the coolest thing in the world to walk out my front door just in time to see them fly overhead.
We used to live on the very Western edge of Brisbane, Australia right hard up against the mountains..The DC-8.I think had Pratt and Whitney engines. All us kids used to turn outside to see it. Anyhow the pilots got to know we were going out to see them. They used to go low over o ur house. And you could hear the engines then increase power t o get over the mountain range.

At what time mark do you notice it's a RC plane? At the 6:12 time mark, it looks suspicious to me. Is that a part of the video that you feel they are using a RC F-16? Just curious...

The close ups that are shown from your view is incredible! The different movements that your bodies are subjected to, shows the intensity of what happens to you that gives us a grand view from the ground. No matter how many times I've seen you guys fly, nothing prepares you for seeing it in person. It never fails to totally make my day.
My Dad tried for years to get on 'The Team', (if you're ex AF, or a dependent, caps always LOL) instead, he wound up with this crew called the Red Eagles and a Top Secret clearance. Stationed at Nellis from 78- 1982 when he retired. ✌
A "senior citizen" now, I grew up as an AF brat, and have been watching the 'Birds since the late 50's. When they moved to the F-100 Super Sabre, that was it. Been my favorite for many, many years. BUT... The F-16 is without a doubt, THE hands down winner now. Sleek, sexy, fast and the incredible maneuverability of this GORGEOUS aircraft is intoxicating. The Blues' F/A 18 is sweet. but it's a Jaguar XKE to the F16 Veyron. Thanks.
The f-16 is my favorite jet. Next would be the f14 tomcat. There is a look to the f16 I’ve always thought was bad ass. I guess maybe it has something to do with growing up watching iron eagle and top gun.

Have had the pleasure of attending several shows in the past in Seattle. Then one of my friends from high school Brock M. was the egress technician. My son Jeremy got to sit in the cockpit. Yesterday, I had a reunion with my love for this awesome team and watched them at the The STIHL National Championship Air Races near Reno, Nevada. My friend has long retired. They are still the exciting team group that I remember!

In 1981 I was privileged to meet the Thunderbirds at an Air Force Air Show. This was before the two horrible losses in the accidents in Nevada. The men I met that day were such gentleman and so patient with the mob of people. I will always remember that day and Captain Lowery. Just had to share. Air Force Brat Forever
This is an awesome video. I live on the west side of Columbus, Ohio and these guys came SCREAMING over the neighborhood, one day. My kids thought we were being attacked...lol. Turns out they were just doing a flyover for a buckeye game. Still awesome though! I grew an Air Force brat, with my grandfather, and mother both serving. Gramps was a part of SAC during the cold war. He sadly passed just 2 years after the fall of the Berlin wall. I love military aircraft! Thanks guys!!

You are very lucky to have flown in an F16, in 1965 I drew an identical jet to the F16 based on the P-51 Mustang, the dream of all my life was to fly in an F16 and from what I see today I will die without fulfilling that wish.

I’m currently 13 and my dad has been taking me to a Airshow for asking as I can remember me and my family meet up there! When I am older I want to be part of the blue angels or the thunder birds but the problem is I’m Canadian.. I saw them preform in front of my eyes it was so cool! I wish I could be like them one day

0:55 can anyone explain how this works? Theres no thrust vectoring but I dont see how theres enough airflow over the rudder and elevator to maintain that attitude
All 0f our military flight performers are unbelievable. They have to be absolutely precise in their aerobatics. Anytime I see any of them perform, I usually cry, jump up and down, scream and holler!They are so special!! That has got the be the epitome of skill. God bless them all and keep them safe, Lord!!
These guys are flying at about 800 miles per hour in perfect formation with just a few inches between them. I can't believe there are not more tragedies, and I thank God for that.
Saw the Thunderbirds years ago at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. They were insane. One went over a light equivalent to the height of a streetlight by what looked like 30 ft. Nerves of steel.
My ideal "job" would be to watch these excellent pilots perform these maneuvers daily! Their precision and accuracy in their ability to do this is extremely admirable! Love the Blue Angels too!
I grew up on Barksdale and we never tired of their visits ..we knew when one would break the sound barrier and wake us up with rattling the windows instead of revelry..
Darius R ye I believe it was when it came out as it was the first jet designed to be aerodynamically unstable to make it as agile as possible but now not as agile as eurofighter, Russian fighters and the f22 etc

The British Red Arrows show is awesome like I've never seen when it comes to stunts. Must see

Going to the Air Force was the best decision I ever made in my life.
Lived in Austin TX when I was little. Right in the flight path of Bergstrom AFB. I remember people on their roofs watching these guys.

Wonderful. First saw the T-birds in 1966 at Burlington Airport in Vermont. They were flying the F-100. Got their autographs, too.
